I just Love Varun's enthusiasm. He's like a Grown up curious kid. You've a great knack for the stuff you do, diving deep into anyone's mind and topic by asking the right questions and shifting the conversation to maintain a meaningful value packed convo. This pod's a GOLD MINE!
The talk was amazing and i gathered a lot of insights about how to chip design companies work partners with multiple other OEMs for innovating the existing mobile space even more intelligent and the effort every one making to reduce the friction between humans and data. I found the interview to be bit vague and for guys like me who spend an hour watching this conversation compels me to extract even more information and perspectives from the company people. This would be even great to Varun mayya to be the tech enthusiast and ask the questions by writing it down in a paper to cover most from that person. With Varun’s tech knowledge and the going deeper in the conversation would be something similar to what lex is doing and i would love to watch somebody doing that in indian space. This message was written as constructive criticism. Not any attack.
hahah! Varun I think we share some same brain cells😂😂😂 that story you told in the beginning is exactly same as mine. I too thought Snapdragon woww what a cool name and also for a very long time I thought it's the company name😂😂
NPUs can bring genai at edge very quickly. Although not sure how it will impact the overall price of the consumer device. For enterprises, GenAI can be a hit or miss, but the chip companies are the ones who are for sure going to make money out of this ai gold rush.
Yesterday's Aevy tv Zoom meeting was mind-blowing! 💕 Got to learn the efficiency of ai to save time, thanks to Achina Maya and you for combining technology, information and sophistication! At this point you guys are my internet Godparents! 🐣💛💯🔥
Feels good that Varun's tone sounds like a curious kid demanding insights fro semiconductor giants on the rise of this industry along with AI and related things. Just the kind of content consumption necessary.
It's interesting to see how Qualcomm is gearing up for this AI race. The emphasis on end point customization and model tuning speaks volumes of how they have factored the Nvdia's HeadStart. It will be cool to have a product that will run ads as per our preference and eliminate the bombardment of irrelevant ads which brings ad fatigue. Very eager to see how business models will evolve when ads on our device will be filtered by our ai assistant as per our choices.
Varun bro can you make a video of cloud computing that IT sector whether they are excepting cloud computing specialists or not for upcoming years. what the package they would offer.
Kedar kept throwing acronyms like everyone would know about it. Great you kept reminding him to clarify those terms. it was a good interview, but i wished you had delved much deeper.
a gr8 tee-a-tee, lot of insights about silicon, AI and future. One point though, when we talk about a true "AI Agent" helping me out with stuffs, it can only do it if "it" is fully aware of things. And to be fully aware it has to have connection to the world wide web. So, sure we are minimising the risk on privacy by going on-device but not fully mitigating... keep rendering such videos and more power to you... thanks Rup.
At 5:10 there are two diet coke cans at 2 locations. at 5:39 there's a can opening sound. our eyes saw a can of diet coke, our ears heard a sound of a can being opened, and in a flash of a second the mind went to the assumption that Varun must've opened the can and taken a sip. But at 5:55 we can see that both the cans are at the same location and unopened. Now it's either a very good shadow marketing trick from Diet Coke or same backstage guy opened a can..
@@TridentHut-dr8dg cloud computing is better for small companies for data resiliency, uptime guarantee, and simplified networking. unless you are serving millions of reques which can be quite expensive in the cloud, cloud computing is more cost efficient than buying a server and backup hardware and having a team to guarantee uptime. the video is not taking the effort and money required to gurantee uptime with self-hosted and resilent platform into consideration.
It's great that we are getting most of the things on our devices and less of cloud. I would like to ask that, the devices would also be more specific? cause I can't think that many models and so much computation can be done on a single device. Means the source service has to be deployed on cloud, as I am thinking. So, either the devices are going to be more specific or the device is gonna be such powerful that it can do all on its own [I can think of powerful NPUs]. this is somewhat I am understanding. Kindly share your thoughts.
Today people are using manual typewriter to transfer confidential messages. This is happening in big companies are computers are wired, traceable and not secure. People are used to transfer the message manually.
@VarunMayya, you are the "Iron Man of India and the Elon Musk" of tech in India! This video brilliantly captures the pulse of the AI revolution and the future of technology. Thanks for keeping us ahead of the curve and always inspiring with your insights!
Hey Varun, I wonder how he would describe the snapdragon laptops in comparison to the M3 chip in Macs. Also, would have loved to know what's happening in the space of making software compatible for these Arm chips in Windows.
Hey, I saw your video - Guide To Work In A Company 2024, and was really impressed by it. I was also curious about Aeos Labs, I checked the website but couldn't find any 'careers' page there. I currently work in an AI company at a semi-technical role, and am planning to learn more about data science. I'd love to see what all you guys do and interview for your company if there are any openings suitable for me. Could you pls tell me how I can get more info about Aeos labs and apply for a position?
Amazing insights put forward in very simplistic way, when are laptops doing away with fans , why is there no way to do that,Fanless laptops is performance enhancing n battery 🔋 life prolongs bigtime correct ,with Elite n Elite plus this should be an amazing prospect of prolonged battery life n if u add Fanless tech ,that will be phenomenonal in a simplistic manner, not always easy.

I get the points that were made about how we won't need to access the cloud in the future, it's exciting honestly. But using such a clickbait thumbnail based on just a couple points feels really cheap. You're better than this Varun🙁
Hi Varun, please don’t use title like this. If content is good , go for positive titles, he mentioned good things about. NPU . Please don’t use old strategies like click bait. If content is good , ppl will definitely come.

I am disappointed to see Varun Mayya partner with a brand that prioritizes profit over public health. His promotion of sugary beverages is irresponsible (Coke), and I will no longer support his work.

Great to bring executive from Qualcomm - thanks for sharing Varun!

The best thing about technology can be you should be always at the edge and you will get advantage over the people who are not.

Dear Varun, never stop making these intellectually stimulating videos.
