Peter is in New York after the campaign. So maybe. Or maybe he could be in the game as a companion. Like during the Rhino fight or when you fight alongside Prowler
Its satisfying to see both styles of web slinging. Of course the difference is due to experience but peter moves so elegantly like its second nature to him now. Miles is more carefree swinging with excitement.
Yeah I think throughout the story it'll switch off and the eventually allow you to choose who you want to play as. Theyll both have to fight off the symbiote , hopefully they do a double sided story where you choose who gets the suit, and or , they both do. However it's looking like they might give it to miles...considering hed the less experienced. Then again, they're looking like they're showing miles grow so. Maybe miles will have to save peter in the next one from the suit amd tell him how hes changing etc

This isn't a new built from the ground up game, you do realize this game is just a re-skin with a new story of the 2018 game that's why this asset is here it's the same engine

It’s kinda obvious what this is; it’s probably a left over function back when they were debugging the game, make sure the physics engine and everything works fine on the newer hardware

That bug is probably because they're like the same game but some differences in the map and the character animations. Like they did not recreate the whole game from scratch, they used the PS4 Spider-Man game files instead.
I bet that Spooder-man is in there because it is just the code from the OG game, reworked, so instead of deleting Peter, they kept his character in, so they could show him in the cutscenes.
I really want them to make it in the new game where you can not only switch between Peter and Miles as Spider-Man, but I also really want there to be an option to switch to a "regular citizen" version for Miles and Peter where I can just explore the city as a regular person. That'd be dope.

I have a theory... I think Peter were meant to be playable on the game at first but then the idea got scrapped and they might forgot to delete Peter's file on the game Its just a theory...
i reckon this is either because they plan to have a bit in like a dlc story where theres like section where you play as pete or maybe there was a bit in the story where you play a section as pete or most likely when testing the game (maybe stuff like swinging/combat or maybe even just to have something while miles model was being made) they carried over data of pete from spiderman ps4 and forgot to get rid of it
It doesn't really, He's missing several animations. But it is surprising how many he has. Quick list of missing animations below One of the random "vaulting" animations is missing, causing pete to teleport or run infinitely (with the player being unable to control Spider-man) All of his finisher takedowns are gone. Pete is unable to ko anyone with this ability because of it. He's missing all his air tricks, but you still get points for doing them. He's missing his wall leap animation, (when you dodge towards a wall then jump off of it.) Civilian interactions are glitched Haven't tried stealth takedowns yet, but I bet they have problems.
So y'all was conplaining about not having the ability to play as anybody else in the other spiderman game but now that miles morales is playable and you can play as somebody else y'all want to go back....
I would love an online multiplayer addition either in miles, or Spider Man PS4 2 to where one person could play as Peter and the other Miles. That'd be sick.
