Will it have the same wire from the original rearview camera behind the original radio unit? My 2010 limited is still rear mirror to display the rearview image, I am not sure about that before start installation.
Did u use a canbus system? Looking to do this for my wife 2011Rav4. I know for my Corolla because I already had backup camera I used it but she has nothing but steering wheel controls
I have a 2011 RAV4 Limited that came with and still has the Factory JBL premium audio system but was wondering is it possible for me to switch out the system with the Toyota OEM NAV system that were an option on these cars straight from Toyota? Is it just plug and play and would the wiring for the NAV system already be there?
@@ProdThrash well, I’m talking about switching out the JBL unit for the NAV unit. The NAV unit has the navigation screen and was a factory option straight from Toyota. To my knowledge Toyota had 3 different factory available units. 1 the standard sound system with a basic single disc CD player. 2 the upgraded Premium JBL sound system with upgraded speakers and 6 disc CD player. And 3 the Denso NAV system with a standard audio system but has the navigation system and screen.
Nice video bud I have the Limited 2009 with the JBL sound system and the three wires that comes out from the factory radio. One of them is blue 20 pin I cannot see or find the correct wires. I bought several wires off Amazon and I have them works and two different type of aftermarket radio from 100 to 300 any advice, would greatly appreciate it
Don't mess with wires behind the dash while the battery is still connected.
I mean yes as a precaution, but also there is no or not enough power to the wires with the key in the off position so it shouldn't matter.
there is nothing back there that has a constant 12v. they are all fused so doesn't matter.
Great video. No endless yapping. Thank you
“Look at the new radio I installed you honey!”
“What the heck happened to my trim?”

Can you tell me where you bought it? I can not find😅
Why didn’t you replace the bolts you removed when you took the radio out?

If you have camera, nav or JBL amp use this adapter for retaining all those things PAC-RP4-2-TY11-Wiring-Interface
