New SAM stuff in trailer: first action, AoE that gives the 3rd Sen, Third Eye gave a meditation stack, and the finisher. That’s it

Great reaction video, yall sound like a cute healing duo!
According to mrhappy reapers cast is 5 SECONDS in battle which means the ability we get for it (a 600 potency cast) will be used once in our whole rotation outside of those moments where bosses prep some big attack we have to stack up for.
Be more used in 24man bc we get those moments after bosses and the 5 second cast is instant outside battle.
Also the paladin sword ability is Confiteor after Req.
I'm OK with that personally. I enjoy some situational abilities here and there.
@@iResonate I agree and if used properly you get a juicy 600 potency attack straight away at the start of battle. Reaper has a samurais 1.3 cast time on a couple other skills I think too

I am so hyped for the infos tomorrow! Especially for MCH, SCH, SMN, Sage, Reaper and BRD
MCH right now is my main dps and probably the most fun class in terms of doing damage imo, BRD was my former main dps so I'm still interested in what direction they are going
SCH is basically my main healer and my overall main job, but after playing it in this expac, the cons/annoyances after a while were so strong that I needed a break of it, but I loooove proactive healing so much with it. Thats the reason I am so hyped for Sage and the SCH changes
And Reaper overall looks extremely interesting to me, but probably only as a casual job because I'm not that much into Melee dps
Oh yes and MNK as well because it looks super flashy and cool and I LOVE that new gap closer
4:53 The first new thing for dancer seems to be using standard step without doing the dance steps after technical finish.
It seems unlikely they'd remove the dance steps from standard step, so it's more likely Dancer's getting a trait that lets them skip standard's dance steps when they're under the effect of Technical finish.
Streamlining their burst phase to make room for all their new abilities.
Either way, I'm hyped to wear their new artifact set on a hrothgar :u
So much hyped on AST. Those falling stars are so pretty, and seems that Divination is decoupled from seals now. And wondering what they would do for the seals XD
...I'm gonna have a hard time leveling all Healers though as I'm the omnihealer of our light party static. But well, Scholar leveling means I get to level up Summoner for free wee.
Oh bards WM is now 2 minutes, they said in liveletter.
If all songs are 2 minutes on 45 second durations thats 45 of MB, 30 of AP and 45 of Wm. We dont know if battle voice is getting buffed, unlikely since its a whopping 20% boost to the whole party but with 45 seconds of WM we can hopefully proc way way more Pitch Perfects.
I hope Raging Strikes gets a longer duration to fully enjoy a 45 second burst under WM but we at least get a new attack after Apex Arrow so our soul gauge serves a real purpose.

Wishes for Endwalker:
- Hrothgar leader kingtype for Thavnair. We couldnt get a goddamn Hrothgar queen of Bozja for SOME REASON (laziness but they sure found a way to add viera to the ivalice raids) and he lives and is competent and not racist like every ARR race leader.
- Yshtola doesnt get deus ex machinad when she uses flow again. If you cant make up a reason to revive haurchefant, papalymo, or ysayle, stop rezzing the uguu catgirl waifubait.
- The relic grind has a story that isnt outrageously insulting to the players intelligence (in Bozja Misijas motive is "bozja is an oligarchy and I was hungry as a child" but bozja was under Garlean control for 21 years BEFORE SHE WAS BORN according to field records???!)
- We get choices that actually matter. I dont care about Garlemald after going thru Bozja if a Garlean isnt under Cid's employ burn em and salt the earth Im tired of Garleans and ascians let us be done ffs.
- Let Reaper have a rez I want a melee that is actually worth a dang in crisis scenarios.
- Give Gunbreaker and Dancer more story quests cucking them with just 60-70 then nothing is crap I liked these stories and their npcs.
- Please oh PLEASE make our wols chosen deity matter in the coming alliance series.

Chosen diety is like racial differences, its bad in wow and it’d be bad here. Linking character expression to gameplay isnt a very good idea and it just hurts games.
Nothing gets story quests just normal quests for slight continuation, they decided to go with role quests instead so i dont expect the job quests to come back in any important way.
Giving a melee a res is a terrible idea, they’re already super good and letting them just have a res when they dont use MP just disrupts the balance of the game, with summoner and red mage it at least eats into your main resource, and they debated removing it on summoner anyway. If they were to give reaper a res they would have to drastically lower its damage output because otherwise it would be the best dps job in the game by far. Its the same reason as to why black mage doesnt have a res, it massively messes up class balance. Melee dps arent bad because they cant res, and they wouldnt want to even if they could because they’d have to stop dealing damage to hardcast a res that lasts about threee GCD due to no swiftcast, and this would be something they’d be expected to do instead of the people who’s job it is to actually keep the party alive. Summoner’s res should have also been removed tbh let them swiftcast their damage spells instead of asking them to save for healing
To be fair, Fran was literally copy/pasted from 12. But yeah, I was upset there was no Hrothgar Queen as well.

I think they said the whm totem is just a new animation for asylum, so bummer on that note, I hope my sourse is wrong tho.
They did not. Whm totem is a new skill that you get at level 90 and does not replace asylum. They dont even do the same things haha.
