Just came here. Four years later. Never owned a Glock before I bought this used G44. It wasn’t running great. But I watched this video and was able to completely break it down for cleaning. Reassembled it, and it’s running great. Thank you.
I returned to this video after liking it right after I bought my G44. At 9600 rounds it started to act up. I realized I hadn't cleaned it for the last 4000 rounds of cheap ammo. Took it apart and once again found your video a wonderful reminder when it came time to put the extractor pin back in the gun.
The gun was so dirty I had to take it all the way down and scrub with brushes and chemicals. Cheap ammo leaves lots of bitty crud.
Thanks again for a useful video.
All .22 lr is cheap ammo.
You are the very 1st person to do a take down of the new Glock 44 on youtube ! I am a 1911 guy with no experience with servicing Glocks, except for this new purchase, thank you so much, very informative, and much appreciated.
Well thank you I appreciate it, if you can do this glock you can do them all now!
Good job and thank you!! Was having difficulty finding out how to efficiently remove the take-down lever.. Subscribed to you channel out of appreciation!!
Watched this three times and now I sing the “find the little punch” jingle to myself. Thanks!
Thank you. I thought I turned my gun into an expensive paperweight.
THANK U FOR THIS VIDEO!
First time watching your channel. Great video Thanks. When I first picked up my 44 and did an initial deep cleaning I had trouble getting the back plate off, I must not have been pushing down on the striker spring cup enough to relieve the tension. Looks like you had no trouble it came off just like all Glocks.
I took it off a few times before the video so it made it a little easier. The first time it was on there pretty good. Hope it all worked out thank you for watching I appreciate it
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I wonder if the factory glock "performance" trigger would work in the G44 if you carried over the G44 ejector into the performance trigger.
This is ALMOST perfect. I wish you had a better angle.
So many parts . My god. .
So which parts we can use for the trigger job? Gen5? From gen5 one?
I got glock 44 and is not nice for my kids to go... compared to cz or any other hammer style gun...
MERCI c'est parfait
thank's you it's perfect
Great video. Thank you.
Nice vid! 🤘
Did the dry fire before each disasembly damage the firing pin?
Not an issue on this striker fired pistol, that’s a rim-fire revolver rule.
Glock needs to recall the recoil spring. The recoil spring is to heavy and causing the same issues like when the Glock 9mm gen4 came out.
I put it back together without the spring and barrel. now I can't get the slide off . Any tips
Pull slide back to the rear, pull of the back plate pull out the striker and it’ll come off. Sure you figured it out by now but that’s how you do it on any glock
Completely mangled that baseplate. I am looking for a video that shows a proper mag disassembly - guess I will keep looking.
We’re you get the Glock Matt at
Guy’s q a good smith, but not so much on the tutorial end of things and camera work leaves something to be desired.
I never usually do glocks because videos are so plentiful so I did rush through this one not explaining as much as I usually do. I’m always trying to work on my camera to get the best angles/lighting. I appreciate the comment, what would you like to see in the tutorial part that would help you or others more?
❤
Does it use the same connector as all other Glocks?
From my findings yes they haven’t changed anything
What’s with the ball peen hammer?
Just the right weight I prefer for hitting roll pin punches. Don’t use the ball peen side
@@TheGunBench Glocks don’t have roll pins, maybe trade in the hammer for a Glock armorers tool
Don’t use a hammer. Jiggle the slide stop lever while pushing on the pin with a Glock Armorer tool. The pin will just slip out. Beating with a hammer could damage the slide stop lever.
I'd stick to my Colt Govt 1911 .22LR. Waaaay better than that piece of crap
Great video! Thanks!
Thank you, sorry it flagged your comment as spam so I didn’t see it till now. Thanks for watching f
