I watched Cruella the same day. What a shape shifter. Hardly recognized her!
And another undermarked one. The talent we saw in their Tango week one has returned, yet she didn't get the credit she deserved. I watched Cruella for the first time that day, and I can confirm that this is accurate. The hair and makeup department really made her look exactly like Emma Stone. And she acted exactly like Emma's top notch acting of Cruella. Sounded like her, and really brought her iconic personality. Charming, confident, and really brought the evil! (though Cruella isn't exactly evil in the movie, just embraces the evil label).
And the dancing was really good! Like I said, her Tango skills are back! Gorka's choreography worked wonders! It embraced the character of Cruella. Really made Katie the boss! The acting was everything and she totally improved her dancing tenfold!
I'd say they just needed more in hold stuff. Anton is right, she needs to bring her skill out of hold into being in hold.
That five was way too harsh, and I am not sure about those 6s. 7s are more appropriate for them.
How on earth did she get eliminated this early? Criminally undermarked. As much as I agree with the judges a lot of the time I didn't agree with this

I think we've all seen how close the standard is this year, if I can predict whose in the dance off one week, I think it'll be miracle.

She was better than quite a lot of the contestants who got through in acting and dancing! Even Craig looked a bit sad that they were being voted out so early. Sure Judi and Graziano were better (no idea why they were in the dance off either!!) but that still doesn't mean these two should have been voted out... Though if there's one positive thing about them being in the dance off its that we got to see Gorka pretending to be a Dalmatian again, very cute 😍

I thought the judges got this dance wrong. The tophalf was lovely and she gave it real oomph. I absolutely loved the theme and her control over Gorka who looks rather nice as a doggy if I say so myself. Kicks were on pint and the oversway was good, nice to see her acting skills come out in this. Definitely her best dance yet. What I was disappointed with was the fact there was only 1 lift, there should be 2 lifts at the least and 1 was abit underwhelming, so I shall knock a point off for that. I really liked it though very stylish and it went to Hell Hall rather well I thought. *7/10* 😊
This is Dr John's version of Cruella De Vil from the 1996 live action film version of 101 Dalmatians which I do like and it's one of my favourite Disney films so this is a brilliant routine on Strictly

In the videos list just before this was Craig Revel Horwood as Dolly in Musicals week, the greatest irony is this came up next and as Katie McGlynn decended the stairs as Cruella, I was struck by how facially both look similar. The only difference was Katie McGlynn had the beauty spot on the left and decended the stairs on the left, Craig decended the stairs on the right and had the beauty spot on the right side of his face. I honestly initially wasn't sure at first if I was watching Graig surprise the audience once again.

I really enjoyed this. Characterisation as usual was perfect but her frame needs a little work. Her shoulders need to come down a bit but her leg action to me is perfect. Great step up from last week Katie.

I'm not going to lie, I saw Gorks more than I saw Katie. However, what I did see of her was decent. The execution could have had a bit more impact. I feel the execution was there but it could have been smoother. The dismount from the lift also could have been smoother as well. It's her best dance so far, I will give her that but I am starting to feel underwhelmed like I was with Greg and Karen for the last two weeks.

Is this the version of the song from "101 Dalmatians?" If so, why are they announcing it as being from "Cruella?" Is it due to Emma Thompson being in the audience?
Did Cruella the film have songs in it? Idk i havent seen it. But maybe they did do it from Cruella, but needed a fitting song, so this song worked? i dont know

did anyone else feel uncomfortable when craig said he liked seeing gorka on all fours, see if a man said that to a woman that would be wrong but i don’t see a lot of people talking about it. sorry to be a debbie downer but i wouldn’t care if it they were gay, straight, transgender, pan sexual, non binary, whoever, i would be very uncomfortable if someone said that to me
Katie came out there confident than ever and I absolutely adored her partnership with Gorka (who acted his part gorgeously BTW)! I also want to point out who fantastic was Katie's sense of rhythm - she was totally into the music, and accented the music with every step she made. HOWEVER, from technical point of view it was very weak and full of errors. There were no heel leads, no gliding across the floor, no sway, Katie's top line wasn't good... when she was in hold it was more walking than dancing. I also wanted to see a bit more content in hold. I did like her frame though and the parts out of hold were lovely, but all the actual foxtrot she did had loads of mistakes and issues. I am not surprised that she landed into the bottom two, and for me Jud's dance was significantly better than this one, because, sadly, Katie didn't show any proper technical skills. My score: a 4.

A tale of two dances. Out of hold, Katie is confident and dances with every cell in her body. Her acting and storytelling is incredible. In hold, it was really underwhelming. Her shoulders were practically touching her ears and her footwork was a bit haphazard. 6

Katie should of gone last week, she was as awkward tonight as she was last week. Gorka is working really hard and she gives nothing back. Sorry Katie as an actress your lovely, but as a dancer, you really should of been the one to leave last week.

So sad she went home this week as her and Judi didn’t deserve to be in the Bottom!
You can't say this wasn't an enjoyable performance though, and that goes for Judi as well.
@@henrymanley4116 It was really enjoyable. I loved it but Judi and Katie shouldn’t of been the bottom 2. It in my opinion should’ve been Dan and Nadiya and Sara and Alijaz with Sara and Alijaz being eliminated. That’s just my opinion
