      Hes great to watch how he thinks and just sorts it
      reminds me of my mentor nothing fazes them unfortunately I'm not wired the same so watching a real professional at work is so interesting. I should make a video so he could moan at all the things I did wrong 😅

    I have worked on and with a lot of Belimo Zip economizers.....they are probably the best out there in my opinion. You set the zip code and it'll set the economizer, enthaply etc etc based on your climate zone. So it gets specific. You can also make slight corrections to tweek it. If you ever take a sensor out, it'll recognize that and not look for it and not show it's readings. It really is the most plug and play out there

    I have been watching your channel since early 2022. HVACR videos since 2021. You both have your own unique styles to your videos. I never miss a video from either one of you. I can't thank you both enough for what you do!! Obviously nobody is perfect. But you and Chris are tremendous assets to the hvacr trade! My apologies if I got a little too fanboy here.       Problem is we pay better than the union companies but people just don’t care. You can’t teach them to care, my feeling is remove the problem because it’s costing more to do it twice.

      I agree, once I spoke to the tech about my questions to verify what I was thinking how they worked. I believe they are a lot easier to use and program than the Siemens junk ass controller.

    Hey, do you ever get a chance to work on any commercial daikin ? I’m installing them and they seem to be pretty solid units 👍 love from Missouri 🤟

      We have some Daikin commercial units at some of the schools. I don’t have a lot of experience with them so they’re a little bit of a learning curve on the newer technology.

    FYI, if you order a new Cambridgeport factory Belimo actuator, they do not feature the same bolt openings, so it has to be re-engineered

      Are you talking about the four screws that held it on? If so, that wouldn’t surprise me it seems like that was gonna be a week design.

    there sure is a lot of discoloration on the top of that condenser coil, is there a leak on that coil already?

      I’ve seen that on several different air conditioners. I think it’s the oil they use when they’re manufacturing it. Shits made in Mexico now. What can you say🤔

    We do it nice cause we do it twice. Can't believe you have to finish the install correctly. Your complaints are more than justified. That can't be fun to read that manual in that wind while trying to concentrate. I hope your boss knows and appreciates how good and thorough you are. I appreciate my guys and I give them bonus money every month. They do zero selling or up selling. Sometimes they get annoyed with me because I actually turn jobs down.

    Wonder why they don’t use alignment tabs on those plugs, so it’s physically impossible to plug them in the wrong way.

      @@bassman34516 three different manufacturers are making a economizer for these carriers. The main plug is the factory one, the one that was incorrectly plugged in was the plug provided by the outside manufacture. All the economizer companies could do is put a sticker on the plug. The factory won’t change there’s because it only fits one way when it’s installed as originally designed.

    I would say I am shocked at how stupid that installer was, but at this point people just don't surprise me any more...
    They could somehow FORCE you to read that entire booklet and someone would manage to break it anyways...

      They are easier than the Siemens. Just read the directions once through. I pointed out the most common issues you’ll have.

    Nowadays if a system is up to two years old I start "fail finding" instead of fault finding. Saves a lot of time if you assume it never worked from the beginning. I suspect you are on the same page 🤣

    Absolutely no experience with the new economizer controls but definitely like how that Belimo control looked and operated.
    Had a customer buy a used walk in freezer had us hook everything up but whoever unhooked it sawzalled the Lineset, blew everything out I could but a week later found a shaving stuck in the TXV that had no screen. Needless to say it got a new TXV with a removable strainer.

    New carrier economizers are absolute trash, at least guy left the bypass plug. The first thing i would have did is unplug economizer at module, and economizer and plug in bypass plugs, see yea,call installer and have him deal with economizer issue.

      The problem is that wasn’t an installer that started it. But I can’t say that in the video. Our shop it’s OK with the Installer not to knowing but not a service guy who put hours down on this job and then I had to go back out and do it again. That’s what pissed me off and that’s why I was such an ass about it.

      Actually, we’ve got some really good installers. But you’re always gonna have one or two that doesn’t really go the extra mile. I don’t mind mentioning it in the comments, but I couldn’t mention it on the video. A service guy started this and said he had it running that’s what’s bullshit.

    1/16th to 1/32nd of an inch. that is old school machinist/finish wood worker cruft. that said, I have done both in the past. it's hard and time consuming, cheap tools to billion dollar tools.
    unless the same tools and machines have existed for many years and you've used them for many years. game is over, everythig now will all be pre-beta trash, multi-alpha level junk.
    not knocking anyone i particular nor pointing fingers well maybe my middle fimngers ( in unison). 💩

    so, you spent anywhere from 4 to 999 hours on that garbage. yeah, facts of current trash equipment. nothing you did or are doing. garbage is garbage. can we go back to the wild abnd crazy 1970's random installed junk, that actuakky worked and lasted for 30+ years? with self installed linsets(lol) yeah of course they don't want to. and craftsman tools with "lifetime warranty" whose lifetime? I have had a hard time getting NEW tools I was gited and bouth in the 1990's as of 5 years ago, to more current. (lowes), they did finally exchange the four screwdrivers.
    enough, may as well buy and thriw away trash, if I have to battle with them. I quit ranting now and fully understand you 🤠
