Hello Kenji, I always found your videos really helpful. Being a Chartered Accountant, still liked your videos a lot and very much knowledgeable. Thanks a lot for sharing .
I'm having trouble with the XNPV formula when I recreated your chart I got 1,117,844.02 I double and triple checked and everything is the same. Do you know how this could be? Additionally I entered the IRR just like you said and it came back with a number error rather than 16.20%. Can anyone help?
Hi Kenji, thanks a lot for the video! I downloaded the file and the result of the NPV (XNPV Formula) is $561,688 rather than $454,239 as shown in your video. I am not seeing something here? 🧐
Wait, do you think cryptocurrency will crash? I dont think so. More and more companies are integrating cryptocurrency into their operations: Amazon, Cannafarm Ltd, Burger King, even Starbucks, dude!
So, if i want to calculate what amount of money my mom needs to have on her bank account now to live at reasonable income out of it per month i could use npv?

You're welcome!
Correct me if I’m wrong but an investment can have 2 IRR values, meaning in the excel formula you should put 0 & 1 right after the *guess option.

In the aggregate formula, where did you get number 9?
At around 0:53 in the video, there is a list of options to choose. 9 is the SUM for the aggregate formula (4 is Min, 5 is Max, etc.)
Hi Kenji, thanks a lot for the video!

it’s because the npv doesn’t take into consideration dates so it starts counting year 0 as year 1 while the xnpv does take into consideration dates.

hey just trying on excel is the xnpv the same as the npv?
npv assumes regular cashflow periods, xnpv works with the dates of the cashflows as these could be irregular
So, if i want to calculate what amount of money my mom needs to have on her bank account now to live at reasonable income out of it per month i could use npv?
