Hello, Roxy! That machine is so cute! It looks like a lot of fun! I love to watch your videos, you are so talented and you have so many unique ideas! Thanks for sharing with us! Have a great day!
Hey Roxy!! Guess what! I picked my machine up at Aldi's this morning!!! LOVE it for exactly what you say.. Paper crafts!!! but for the minimal space I have to work on my crafts, this is the perfect size to set nearby!!! And, omg, I LOVE purple! LOL! So, thanks so much for sharing this. As I was walking around the store, where there WERE only TWO of these machines, another woman saw me carrying this, and was VERY interested; so NO, I don't think these will last long on the shelves! I told her to check out the youtube videos, so hopefully she'll run across yours! Have a great week!! ~tina
That's awesome, Tina! I am loving mine and for the same reasons, small space especially. I saw a video on this today that was from last fall and they also bought a box of threaded bobbins so I'm going to check and see if they have them that I missed.
Thanks, Norma, so do you!! I would think they will, the main thing about using a regular sewing machine is that it is hard on needles and you have to clean them often to reduce fiber build up.
Hi Roxie. I have had this little machine for a few years and I never used it. Thank you for this tutorial on how to use it, I’m taking mine out of the closet.
Thats really cool I saw one in the Aldis paper too..I am thinking about grabing it for my next giveaway..thanks for doing the unboxing and tutorial :) xoxo
I played with the machine this weekend. Not sure how well I like it. Couldn't keep the needle threaded. Also I am used to jyst pulling out the project I am working on when done with the seam, not so easy with this one.
Hopefully I didnt miss it in the video but do you think this could be an extremely low-end machine for beginners looking to work with clothes? I got one of these as a gift recently and really didnt know if I should hold off on buying a brother machine
I WANT one...lol...their is a new store in the works close to me so maybe I will get lucky when they open...really nice for the craft room...tfs....Annie
thanks for the tutorial. I love the look of stitching on junk journals but felt it would be a waste of money for me to but a sewing machine. Something this might be something to think about. Again thank you.
At 4:21 based on another video of an almost identical machine (the brand name appears to be different) I believe you can also mount a spool of thread on top to thread the machine instead of using a bobbin on the side. ruclips.net/video/BmYHDf6M4-A/видео.html
Curiosity question. Can you change the presser foot to the other unique presser feet you can purchase seperately. Like the one for gather stitches, or rolling hems, etc.
No, it's its own little thing. The presser foot is screwed into the arm and unless there are similar replacements on the market, it would not work with any standard presser feet that fit full sized machines.
roxyfur Thank you for your quick response. I guess I was mistaken I purchased and Anself mini sewing machine that has the same identical appearance as yours but a different brand name. I thought it was the same machine when I made my inquiry. Mine has not arrived yet but appears that I will be getting a 52 pcs sewing presser feet assortment with it. I'll need to question the merchant if mine is identical to yours.....why would they bother sending the presser feet assortment.
I have a similar machine, got it years ago and have yet to use it, I know, I'm sad lol so a request...when you go to thread that bobbin in the future I would like to see how you do it please. tfs!
Hello Roxy :) Thank you for showing this :) I have the hand held one too, but it will not sew on paper, I can get it to work with material, but not with paper, so I may have to keep my eyes open for one of these :) tfs, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy
Hi again Roxy, You mentioned in your video that you made the pretty embellishments with heart stitched on to the leaves, can you please tell me the name of the name and make of the stamp that you used for the little red heart. Susanne xx
@@roxyfur oh sorry, not the presser foot, the feed dogs. The things in the presser deck under the foot. They help feed the material through but in the machine i cant find how to lower them
I bought this little unit a fewbreak months before Christmas.. I was not pleased with its performance at all... The thread continued to break no matter what I did and trying to re =-thread every few minutes was a pain... I would have returned it but it has been more than 45 days... I was happy that I had only spent 12.00... I hope you dont have the same problem as I but It just wasnt worth it .. Mine is still packed back into the box.
HA! I will probably use it for clothing repair too. I saw on another video last night that last fall when they sold these they also sold a box of bobbins, I may go back and see if they happen to have those too.
For the little stuff I recommend scotch tape to hold it in place for safety. You can then peel the tape away afterwards
Your machine is so cute! Makes me want to sew again! Tfs, love your embellishments.
THanks, Billie!

You are awesome to say such nice things to me, Molly! I really appreciate it and will have a full heart all day :) Have a wonderful Monday!
Cool little machine! Thanks for sharing the machine and the gorgeous view of your beautiful state. Living in Louisiana, we don’t see much snow. 😢
I love the snow, it's the freezing temps that I can do without.
It actually takes 3 bobbins according to the manual. You can run one on top as well
Love sewing on paper it just adds more detail and character. Have a great day Roxy.
It really does and adds tons of whimsy, Carole!
I sewed cloth strips for my quilt on this machine.
I have one of these and I never thought of using it for paper crafting!!! Your a genius!!!!
HA! Thanks Holly!! :)

Such a cute little machine TFS this little gem.
Warmest best wishes,
Susanne
Thank you, Susanne, best wishes to you too!
This is amazing...vry easy to use nd great finishing
Yes, thank you, it is and super cheap!
Thank You! I was wondering if any small machines stitch on paper at all! I have seen these at Aldi too! YOU ROCK!
Thanks, Norma, so do you!! I would think they will, the main thing about using a regular sewing machine is that it is hard on needles and you have to clean them often to reduce fiber build up.
Could this work with thicker fabrics or even leather?
I do not know, probably not, Kelly.
Cute machine. Great price. Thanks for the demo roxy
You bet Pammy!
Hi Roxie. I have had this little machine for a few years and I never used it. Thank you for this tutorial on how to use it, I’m taking mine out of the closet.
Awesome, Raquel! Have fun with it, let me know what you think.
Thats really cool I saw one in the Aldis paper too..I am thinking about grabing it for my next giveaway..thanks for doing the unboxing and tutorial :) xoxo
You are very welcome! Let me know if you find one.
I purchased one during the Christmas holidays from Target for around $7 on clearance.......I have not tried it out yet

This is the 3rd time in a couple years that they've offered it, I think they sell out quickly so watch for it next year!
thanks for the tutorial. I love the look of stitching on junk journals but felt it would be a waste of money for me to but a sewing machine. Something this might be something to think about. Again thank you.
You are welcome! For $12.99, it's worth not lugging around or ruining my big sewing machine :)
Hi , I have a Pixie sewing machine , it's a little bigger than the one you have and works great 😊have fun
Thanks, Libby! I have so far :)
I’m going to check my local aldi! Thanks for sharing
TFS! I have a small machine, different brand, but did not liked using it, so I bought a bigger machine. I guess it depends on what you like. Thanks.
I'm going to use this for small, quick projects and sewing paper so as not to muck up my good machine.
so cute, I need another to add to my collection. May have to check this out.
HA! We can't have too many machines!
Where do I find one
🙏 I have gone through like 12 videos and needed one where someone actually spoke! Thanks
Will it do a zigzag stitch
No, sadly.

Yes! I saw that video last year after posting mine. Much easier :)
Qwhere do I find one
Can we change the needle size in this kind of machine?
norjanah blo I would think so...
Why not?

That's awesome! Well there is a screw at the base of it so I'll assume you can change them out, that's pretty cool. Let me know how it goes, Dianne.
I just wanna learn how to thread the bottom bobbin...cant find that part in your vid.....dis I miss it....?
Hi Michelle! It is the same as for the top thread, both use a bobbin spool.
Looks very easy to use.Im going to go find one..
Good luck, Carlene!
Very cute, I'll have to look for it... how much was it?
Rebecca Creates I think they are 12.99
Yes, Holly is correct. Watch for a box of bobbins, they sold that alongside it last fall.
Can I ask why u r sewing on paper and not just gluing? Just curious...
It just adds another texture and look. It's great for making embellishments.
roxyfur ok tnx :)
You can also make little journals with it. Sew the binding.
Sewing instead of glueing looks sooooo pretty as well as the added texture, especially for shabby chic style cards that are soooooooo 💗 lovely
My mom has two Aldi's near her so I asked to see if she could pick me up one AND SHE DID!!! :-D TFS Roxy!! I'm super excited to get it.
Awesome, Tara!! I think it will save on my good sewing machine too. Let me know how you like it.
As a beginner, I would have loved a different camera angle when you used the machine.
Thanks for the Tip!!
Cute!!! Gotta try and get one!!! TYFS ☺️💕
I have a similar machine, got it years ago and have yet to use it, I know, I'm sad lol so a request...when you go to thread that bobbin in the future I would like to see how you do it please. tfs!
Absolutely!

You too, Amy! THe handheld one I have works ok on paper or fabric but it doesn't hold the stitches as well as this little guy.
Hi again Roxy,
You mentioned in your video that you made the pretty embellishments with heart stitched on to the leaves, can you please tell me the name of the name and make of the stamp that you used for the little red heart.

xx
How much did you pay for it and what store did you buy it from??
$12.99, Aldi
I had an earlier version and it wasn't with the money. I donated it to a local exchange and hope someone else will like it.
What did you use it for?
Paper, couldn't get it to run smoothly, poor tension,
Score!!! My Aldi's had them!!
YAY!! I hope you like it, I've been playing with mine all weekend :)
how much do they cost
$12.99! WOrth every penny, Tina:)
How do you lower the feed dogs!!!
Just like any machine the lever is at the back, I show at about 6:54
@@roxyfur oh sorry, not the presser foot, the feed dogs. The things in the presser deck under the foot. They help feed the material through but in the machine i cant find how to lower them
@@fmlapril Hmmm, I will have to check that out later today... I'm not sure you can?
I saw one at Goodwill and passed it up- darn!
Bumm, Juls. Keep an eye out!
WOW!!!!! I'm literally at Goodwill right now getting one. I wanted to google and read reviews
Does it have a reverse?
No, that's why I explain that you have to turn the fabric or tie off the threads. I wish it did but it's very basic.
Man, watching your channel gets me in trouble, lol... Just what I need another machine! Hugs L
Ha! We need all we can get, Leslie! The right tools make our job easier :)
It would be easier if you stuck a little tape under the paper before you sewed it. I love sewing on paper! Cute machine!
I've done that but this seems just fine, the only trouble I had was feeding with one hand with my other hand working the presser foot.
Lol, that would be a problem!

Bummer! Did you try adjusting the tension, Melody?
Oh my gosh! TFS ABOUT THIS INFO!!!!!!
You bet, Jill!
Hola mi maquina no cose el hilo solo corre pero no se adiere a la tela
Super cute!
That is so curt !!!
Cute
Well, it's cute and curt, (short and sweet!), Viviani!
Cute. TFS
Hi have one of theas
Sorry scrap that it went wrong lol i have one and i love it great for small projects x

Money waste
Maybe to you...
