    I am a guy whose mom taught me how to sow when I was 12 years old on a Singer. When I saw this machine advertised I thought it was a toy that would break quickly. It was so inexpensive I bought it for a a big project I had about a year ago sewing toule to cover my plants. It performed awesome. A year later I had another project taking up 8 pairs of Levis a friend who was much taller than me gave to me. I forgot how to install the bobbin. This lady's video saved the day.

I got it initially to see if I could sew and whether getting a larger (more expensive) machine would make sense. I was ready to give up. I did well until minute 7:54. After that I got stuck, the video didn't show clearly how both threads came together...Mine got stuck. Ugh. I replayed that part so many times and I still don't get how she pulls them together...what does she mean?

    • @EasySewing4Beginners
      @EasySewing4Beginners  3 года назад

      Make sure you are only holding onto the thread that is coming from the needle in the machine. Let the bottom thread dangle down.
      As you turn the hand wheel the needle will go down and keep turning the hand wheel until the needle comes all the way back up.
      Now when you pull the thread coming from the needle a bit tighter you should see the bottom thread come up almost like it’s looped over the top thread. Grab the loop and pull until that bottom thread tail comes out.
      I sincerely hope that helps you further ☺️

      Hi there I just started with my machine as well and it did the same thing. But then I realised my top thread was a bit too short, it needed to be long enough to go over and around the bottom bobbin to pick up the thread. This worked for me, hopefully it will work for you too... :-)
