I bought one of these minis at the thrift store for my grandson to use. Stitches weren't catching and I found your video which was a life saver! Took me hours just to figure out how to unscrew the outside screws because all of my Phillip's were too big. Finally used my drill to enlarge the hole. The screws were in so tight that it raised my blood pressure! After numerous tries at adjusting the bobbin cogs I wanted to throw in the towel. Yours was the best video on the procedure. Thank you so much. It's finally working with perfect tension.
@@EasySewing4Beginners hi can you help me in my machine can you whatsapp me if you have time I dont know how to explain the problem of my machine thanks I hope you can help me
@@EasySewing4BeginnersHi can you make video like this on the other mini sewing machine? I’m having a problem on it and I don’t know how to fix it or what could be the wrong on it. I’m about to give up. 🥺😭
I was about to cut my losses and give up, but I decided NEVER! Messed around with timing on bottom bobbin for 3 hours, only, thanks to you, to figure out that the needle was not in the groove in the arm. I knew it was different. Nobody else had this as a fix, and you did and I'm extremely grateful. Thank you. And I'm sure I'll be referring to your video quite a bit for fixes. What do you want for 70 bucks, huh? Maybe, if I get good and go back to work, I'll invest in a better sewing machine. Thank you again!
This thing hasn't been working since dya one when it was delivered. I've been at it since yesterday and was able to make it work after fixing everything from wirings to parts getting stocked while running. The last and final hurdle? stitching, and you made it work. Thank you so much, i love u💞
OMG I could listen to you all day long, you have the most soothing voice I think I’ve ever heard ! Thank god I wasn’t able to fix my machine yet so I’ll keep watching! Thanks
Thanks to you it works!!! After several hours of adjusting everyting outside and wondering what the problem is, turned out the timing wasn't good. With your proper instructions and clear explanation I solved the problem and now the machine runs like a wonder! :)
Just wanted to thank for this detailed video. It's amazing to see that people do care about repairing gadgets at home rather than throw and replace them. Good initiative. Helped me fix my mini sewing machine. Looking for more of such helpful videos!
Glad I found this! I've spent 2 days trying to figure out this problem. Although my machine buttons is a little different than the one shown here, I guess 99% of the mechanics are similar. Will give it a fix soon. Thank you!
Thanks so much for showing us how to make repairs ourselves. This is especially great because low-cost objects can too easily be thrown out or be refunded and getting a service person isn't worth the cost. Your videos are great!
I followed your instructions and the results was amazing 😍. I just want to say thank you 🥰 because mine wasn't stitching but after following your instructions it's has started stitching 😍😍
So glad I found you, I’ve spent more time restarting than I have actually sewing! Giving it a rest today (it’s wound me up that much! But I’ll defo be doing this when I’m less likely to hulk out 🤣
I was literally on the verge of crying. This was it! THANK YOU! My machine's a little different, but the principle was the same. Very clear and easy to follow. New subscriber :)
I come back to this video yearly to fix my mini sewing machine and it always blows my mind at how the video looks so grey scale because of the decor colors.
I got my daughter a craftbud sewing machine like this. After messing with it for one hour and many crocodile tears from my daughter cause she thought the machine was broken. Thank fis i timing was off by such a small amount. So I loosened the tension screw on the needle housing and I lowered my needle, and it fixed it perfectly. My daughter was so happy and I felt like the best dad ever 💓 😂
Hi Domenica, I am so excited because your part 2 video helped me with my troubleshooting, my machine was not stitching and your guidance was perfect. Thank you so much XXX
Hi Dominica, I found your videos on the mini sewing machine quite informative. Kudos to your bravery and ingenuity on fixing the machine. Not many people would manage to do this successfully. Thank you.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! Your video solved my problem... now i can sew at any time without question why why why.. 😅 im about to throw it then got lucky to bump into your video.. hope your days onwards will always be great because helping many of us .. 🥰
Thank you so much! I was so frustrated because I have the Easy Home version from Aldi and their included manual was extremely lacking! You were so clear and easy to understand that I felt confident to fix the timing... and it worked! Many, many thanks 😊
All instructions soooo clear, thank you. The sewing foot (not the foot pedal) is quite wobbly, is this normal. The machine is very noisy, is this normal. Does the machine need oiling. I'm making a quilt when we go camping, it's a project that has taken 12 months so far. (Getting close to being completed) Thanks again.
Yay its fixed thank you!! I watched a second video bc the bobbin was popping out after out it in and realized the L part on the bobbin wasnt lined up under the little white thing where it fits into the bobbin case... but thank you for getting me that far!! Horray!
This is great! Thank you! From you, I have now learned that the hook takes the thread from the needle and then turns it all the way around the lower bobbin and that is how it picks up the thread from the lower bobbin. (This had always seemed like mysterious "magic" to me.) It made me see that the timing seems to be right in my little machine, which I just bought and turns out to be a great little workhorse but it had suddenly stopped picking up the thread (after I stopped using it yesterday and wanted to continue), but the "bobbin basket" in the bobbin housing is no longer in the right position, for whatever reason. I think it's happened a few times before after I started using this little machine, except a little worse this time. (The needle even runs into it at times.) This may be because I was running thick layers of fabric and I nodded while I typed this because now I may know what the high-pitched "screeching" sound was... that little basket getting moved along the bobbin housing. That happened when I had multiple layers of fabric in the machine that just fit. (That may sound horrible; I improvised a lined shopping bag out of a lot of curtain fabric and then I ran into the limitations of only being able to do one kind of stitch. I ended up with something cute and functional. :) I have now properly designed one that should require stitching through much less thick layers.) Will now try to solve the problem - may need to start removing some screws, yes, and you've showed me how to do that - and add more comments later. Maybe you talk about this too, later in the video, btw. I am still at the start of your video while I type this, but you showed enough for me to want to take a look at what was happening inside my machine without/before taking it apart.
Yeah, okay, I was able to move that basket back into its proper position; there is a little triangle sticking out and that needs to be caught against a little plastic bit coming from the left, from the machine. The rest of the problem may be a tension issue and/or the result of using two different threads. (Ran out of the thread that the machine came with in the lower bobbin and then used a different thread for that.) I used to sew with a regular machine decades ago and I remember similar issues from back then. You know, these nice little tangles, lol.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have the lil sew and sew and used then info in this video to fix my machine. I was ready to ship it back but with this video I was able to fix it.
Genius 👍 watched at least 10 videos from other uploaders which proved out to be disgusting crap, especially videos from our region.TYSM for such an awesome tutorial
Thank you for the detailed instructions. My KCPG was not stitching since day one but I did not notice that’s a malfunction until I watched this video. I’d tried to adjust the timing many times. The needle could pick up the thread from the hook but it’s still not stitching at all. 😢 obviously I missed the return window. I’m going to throw this plastic toy away.
Wow, you're so brave! (and lucky: all the case screws were the same length, and nothing vital fell out when you opened it. ) Just seeing the top thread get carried around the bobbin well will help others get a feel for the mech.
Great video!!! I was gonna smash this thing and call it a lost. Thank you. Super quick fix. If I knew this before I think I could of fixed a machine my mom just threw away. Good thing she has three more kinds...lol. I think one needs this fix. Thanks again with spreading that mighty wisdom with us.
Thanks for sharing My bottom bobbin cannot thread as the hook to turn thread to pull thread (hook up) break. Cannot thread up by needle. Any alternative? Please help. Please advise how to resolve.
This video just saved my life 🥺❤️❤️🥰🥰 I’ve been in the bobbing house since morning trying to fix it cos the needle isn’t picking the bobbing thread and now after fixing The timing, it’s working fine. Thank you ☺️❤️❤️❤️
Hi ! Thank you for sharing this informative video. I have a couple of issues including timing. I tried fixing the timing issue but it still skips in between. Secondly, the motor functions and the needle works too before I assemble the front cover back, once the cover is back in place, the motor runs but the needle is stuck! What do I do....?
Thank you so much for this video, I've been struggling with my daughter's machine for 6 months, mine is completely different, but the principal is the same. Google was absolutely no help apart from telling me to get it serviced, but thanks to you, I've managed to fix it 😁
Thank you soo much for you video 😭 im starting to get frustrated of my sewing machine as i have 0 knowledge what's wrong with my machine .. beside im new and this is my first time using sewing machine 😭
When I’m testing it out it’s perfectly fine but when I try to actually sew like with fabric it goes back to not catching the bobbin. Also it lets go of the thread like halfway is that normal?
Thank you so much! I could follow the steps and see it works, buuut the needle is going behind the hook now 😢 and I lost one of the screws... Trying to figure out how to solve it...
I fixed the timing but my thread is still getting missed. When it isn't missed it slips off the bobbin hook. Do you have an suggestions for how to fix that?
I did everything you showed in the video (took machine apart). Machine worked perfectly when operated manually but when I plugged into electrical outlet, the machine jammed. The thread jammed in the bobbin casing, creating a messy nest. What went wrong?
Thanks so much for these clear instructions . My machine's problem is that it keeps stopping when I'm using electric connection but sews smoothly with batteries . I cannot use the electric connection with it . The foot pedal also stops working sometimes , then after a bit of wriggling starts working again . It would be helpful if you suggested a solution . 🙂
