This film is set to release in September 2022 and it will feature the return of Carol Danvers along with Monica Rambeau, aka Spectrum, who was introduced in this year's WandaVision Disney+ series. Kamala Khan, known as Ms. Marvel, will be a new addition to the screen as she will first be introduced in her own solo series 'Ms. Marvel', also airing 2022, and then featured in The Marvels alongside Carol and Monica.
The Marvels is a sequel to Captain Marvel and was retitled earlier this year from Captain Marvel 2. Not much has been revealed about the plot but we do know that Carol Danvers takes care of a lot of other planets, meaning lots of cosmic trouble could call for a big, powerful team-up. Fans has been dying to see Nova since Guardians of the Galaxy featured the Nova Corps, from which the superhero Nova is made, and have speculated that he will be appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. However, it isn't unlikely that he could make an appearance in this film considering his power type and background.
This trailer sees Kamala Khan, Monica Rambeau and Carol Danvers begin to form a team to head up into space, along with a young Nova who I decided to cast as Fionn Whitehead. It has been rumoured that Marvel are interviewing a young Christopher Nolan actor to play Nova in the MCU.

This movie has to address what happened to the Nova Core. In infinity war it was said the Nova core was destroyed by Thanos and that’s how Nova supposedly emerged. So I wonder if Nova will show up in this movie somehow.
I doubt it because there's mcu project aimed to adress the Nova fate. I think it's titled Nova but not sure.

Xandar probably tried to duplicate Carol Danvers' powers by using the Power stone. Unfortunately the first test subjects burnt out. So like Quill&the Guardians of the Galaxy were able to survive the powerboost by sharing the energies of the Power stone, a whole bunch of volunteers was empowered to become the Nova Corps. Also like the Mind Stone having an AI to regulate its power, the Nova Prime AI was created similar to Ultron. It's function is to support the Nova Corps as their tactical, strategic, scientific intelligence to counter the Kree's Supreme Intelligence. Unfortunately most of the Nova Corps got wiped out by Thanos since he has multiple Infinity Stones and they're not as powerful as Captain Marvel's power boost. So the sole remaining Nova Corps survivor ends up inheriting the power boost from the dead Nova Corps. Thanos had actually been playing a cat&mouse game with Captain Marvel since he's always a step ahead of her and usually takes off before she arrives. Anyway looking forward to this movie as well as the introduction for Nova.

"SPECTRUM!" We think alike dude! GOD I hope that's the name they go with for ma' girl Monica! They've been hinting at "Photon" since it was on the side of her mom's fighter plane. But Spectrum literally makes more sense due to her power signature.

Shamier Anderson MAY be playing the role of Adam Brashear/Blue Marvel. As for the villain, Zawe Aston is supposed to be filling that role, but they haven't said yet what villain she's playing (possibly Moonstone🙏)! But, it was originally speculated that Korvac would actually be the main antagonist. But that of course isn't etched in stone either. We'll just really have to wait til half way through 2022 to really know what's going on!
I think Korvac will be a villain introduced in the movie for a sequel but the main villain
@@reginaldandrews4002 I doubt moonstone. Moonstone had the same strength of Carol's Danvers version of Ms Marvel, and Captian Marvel is stronger than she was in that form so I don't see why they'd bring in a weaker villain. But idk hey we never know
@@saint2972 Well Moonstone really did give Carol a true challenge back in the day. And she's got that intangibility that's hard for Carol to get around. But hey, for all we know, Zawe could be somebody that we don't even expect.🤷

When I saw the image with Nova I said to myself "I knew that they would put someone in this movie to make everyone go watch it, Nova!" I don't think anyone likes Brie as Captain Marvel, and the new Disney plus series is gonna suck so hard, don't get me wrong I actually like Miss marvel in the comics but they have already said they are making this a kids show ND changing her powers, as for Rambo being Photon she is kinda interesting, why not just make a series about her! I'd watch the hell out of that
