Synopsis: Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

Don’t worry there’s some cool scenes here and there, but overall the movie isn’t nothing special. The movie having female characters that many people don’t know much about isn’t the problem, it’s the script. MCU scripts have been a problem since after infinity War.

After it came out digitally more people are giving it a chance and now it’s a 4/5 star rating, not as bad as everyone says it is. Definitely one of the better Marvel movies.

Completely agree. It's the Superman III of the MCU. Not a masterpiece, but it doesn't have to be. What it is is a fun, hilarious and goofy time that is genuinely funny. Unlike 98% of the MCU which contains the most forced, stupid and unfunny humor ever put on screen. The Marvels is a delight, and it's mainly thanks to our three leading women. Especially Iman Vellani.

Fun Fact: Katheryn Winnick, Yvonne Strahovski, Natalie Dormer, Rebecca Ferguson, Katee Sackhoff And Emily Blunt Were All Considered For The Role Of Captain Marvel Before Brie Larson Was Cast
Not gonna lie: Rebecca Ferguson sounds like an amazing choice. Imagine her and Jude Law having that relationship. All the same, Brie Larson is perfect.

Why does The Marvels have better CGI and action than both Thor 4 and Ant-Man 3? I thought the directors of the latter 2 would be more experienced than a first time blockbuster director like Nia DaCosta at this point.

They had reshoots and more time to finish the CGI.
I loved this movie. I purchased it day one and so far I've watched it five times and I like more with each viewing. I'm still team THE MARVELS. 😁👍

When she was flying and Monica was flying they didn't switch then Carol said monica to tag er in then they She used that glowy stuff from hands to switch.

It’s specifically their powers from their hands? Since their hands got entangled, they were all touching the portals and Kamala had the bangle and they got entangled through the light spectrum
I don't understand why Kamala switches with Carol and Monica, maybe I missed something. Monica and Carol touched the jump points, so they should be switching. Why is it affecting Kamala just because she has light based powers?

Not just that, she has done some great performances in films like Short Term 12, The Glass Castle, and 21 Jump Street, etc. She portrayed the character of Captain Marvel very well. The problem was with the character development and the plot.

The best MCU film by far, and it has the decency to be nice and short. Since Iron Man, the MCU has been littered with paper thin storylines pushing themselves to 2 to 3 hours. When the MCU is at it's best, it always involves Kamala. Ms. Marvel is without a doubt the best series, and The Marvels is the best film by far. Go figure.
