The infinity gauntlet is only as powerful as how many Thanos has. He only acquired, Power Stone, Reality & Space. He wasn't at full power. He could of only done so much. I'm not sure why you guys think he's "invincible" when the Celestials them selves can warp reality, it would be useless against them. Power Stone was able to keep Eson at bay, but not for long once Arishem the Judge arrived. He was out matched, with the space stone he could of left, but would of eventually been hunted down again. If you could please read the pinned comment, this has nothing to do with comics, nor the MCU all this is fan fiction, and follows a *different* narrative.
the power stone/gem boosts all the othes when used in conjunction...making THAT the most powerful, the very nature of the gems/stones means they are the embodiment of those particular facets of the entirety........the power and reality means they are the most powerful of reality, same with space etc..the celestials power would not match the power granted by those because of the power stone

In this battle, Thanos would have used his shield bubble/dome to protect himself from them, the same as he did use against Galactus & other similarly powerful foes in the past. After Eson the Searcher located him, the Celestials would have brought Exitar the Exterminator vs Arishem the Judge. Arishem only arrives to judge whether or not a world is worthy of surviving the host of Celestials, or to be destroyed for being unworthy of further advancement/evolution. The Celestials may have even brought in the whole Host of Celestials, all several of them, though Exitar at 50,000 ft tall is usually more than enough with his size vs Arishem's 5000 ft height, (as shown in a late 80's/early 90's Thor issue when he went up against Exitar to protect a world from them). The Celestials would have just came down to the surface from above & not 'walked' in, or at the least would have floated to him using their celestial (pun not intended) powers.

Your animation skills are getting better and better each time! Very impressed! This was also a good showing of how powerful Galactus really is too! We saw just two celestial beat Thanos with 3 infinity stones with not much difficulty with no infinity stones. But the entire species of celestials feared Galactus and stayed quiet until he died. That just shows how powerful and intimidating Galactus really was. I
When I first saw the first Avengers I never knew Thanos was an Eternal, so Loki was working for an Eternal the whole time and now I see Loki come face to face with a celestial.

Little late but I think Ebony tried to kill Thanos because he knew Eson and Ashtriem were coming to Ama-Prime. Now Thanos will torture Ebony and replace him with Thor.
I remember seeing that Celestial in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie! When that collector guy was explaining the infinity stones while playing some kind of video, you see this guy using one of the stones to wipe out a civilization!

I really dont know why eson would want the power stone seeing as the celestial's own power absolutely dominates it's power, he mustve just said, "oh this is a cool shiny thing, finders keepers" and im pretty sure they can blink thanos and his puny stones out of existance
Odin fought a group of 9 or 10 Celestials, while in the destroyer armor, and he even temporarily reclaimed the life-force of all Asgardians save Thor. He also forged a great sword, the Oversword to do battle with them. He cut off ones arm with the Oversword, only for the celestial to materialize a new one instantly. He fired his most potent blasts only to be blocked by a raised Celestial hand. When the Destroyer fell, Thor threw the Oversword, impaling Arishem through his chest. And Arishem simply took the sword out, and disintegrated it with his power. The Celestials are another level, especially in groups!

The Celestials are on a total different level and are far more powerful than the Skyfathers. I would put them at low multiversal level. Higher than any physical being in the Marvel Multiverse save for a few exceptions such as Owen Reece the Infinity Gems the Abstracts and possibly the Cosmic Cubes. Living Tribunal certainly is more powerful.

In the Infinity Gauntlet series, Thanos had EASILY defeated ALL of the Celestials simultaneously, just like he easily defeated Galactus (generally considered more powerful than all of the Celestials), along with the Stranger, Master Order, Lord Chaos, Eternity & Infinity, to challenge the Living Tribunal himself. This is a VERY washed down version using the MCU's level of the Infinity gauntlet, instead of what it was, as the absolute control of every aspect of the universe, of Time, Space, Power, Mind, Soul, & Reality. THe Infinity Gauntlet's only limitation, created for it, (before the Living Tribunal made it so that the infinity gems couldn't ever be used together again) was that it was only useful in the universe it was created in, could be used in other realities,..other realms.
He defeated the Celestials with all 6 stones do people keep forgetting that? Here he only had 3 stones and Galactus is only stronger than Celestials if he's fully fed and not weakened.
I remember reading online. In the comics Thanos has resistance to spells and magic. And he could also release energy beams himself without the stones. They changed thanks in the MCU.

ah man yeah people tend to do annoying things in theaters, when the point is to escape reality and get immersed in the story! I too enjoyed the movie, there were some areas I wish there was less of like the "jokes" it was a bit *too much* for me. I know Marvel has a great way of immersing slap stick funny side line jokes, but I felt there were too many. But I really did like it overall.

arishem seems a little too big and eson too OP. the infinity stones can also absorb hits and attacks. would and should have likely been much closer than this
The infinity stones are limited by their users. The Gardener for instance used the time gem almost unconsciously, thinking it was his skill at gardening that made the plants bloom so perfect. The Celestials should actually be bigger but I think they can shrink and grow at will. Unless Thanos has all six stones, he would not stand a chance with a Celestial with two or four that he had on him at the time. I don't see a problem with any of it.
More like eson is too small. All celestial are 2000 feet tall. Not sure if they will be that size in the mcu. But even in the gotg scene. When we saw eson destroy a planet. He was gigantic in size. So it looks like they will be at their comic book height of 2000 feet.
maybe to a newly born celestial after its deep slumber but normal celestials like Arishem, i doubt is possible. Also it took the Eternals to combine their minds to form the unimind just to turn Tiamut into stone and that itself took some time.
No but in eternals the only reason they could kill tiamut was because he joined the unimind as well. The eternals combined dont acc have the power to kill one
I love the comic version where Thanos fights all the cosmic beings and wipes them all out without a sweat... Even the entire Celestials race was no match for Thanos when he weld the infinity gauntlet...
I'm assuming the whole essence of each Infinity Stone is related to the murky principles of most crystalline gemstones in that their seen energy seems infinite to the uneducated and inexperienced. The power of the infinite unknown is greater than the perceived known.

The Celestials are on a total different level and are far more powerful than the Skyfathers. I would put them at low multiversal level. Higher than any physical being in the Marvel Multiverse save for a few exceptions such as Owen Reece the Infinity Gems the Abstracts and possibly the Cosmic Cubes. Living Tribunal certainly is more powerful.

Thiis is great. But Thanos is no match for a Celestial. And I'm not sure why people think big means slow. The Celestials move like they are stuck in quicksand . But otherwise, nice work!

In the Infinity Gauntlet series, Thanos had EASILY defeated ALL of the Celestials simultaneously, just like he easily defeated Galactus (generally considered more powerful than all of the Celestials), along with the Stranger, Master Order, Lord Chaos, Eternity & Infinity, to challenge the Living Tribunal himself. This is a VERY washed down version using the MCU's level of the Infinity gauntlet, instead of what it was, as the absolute control of every aspect of the universe, of Time, Space, Power, Mind, Soul, & Reality. THe Infinity Gauntlet's only limitation, created for it, (before the Living Tribunal made it so that the infinity gems couldn't ever be used together again) was that it was only useful in the universe it was created in, could be used in other realities,..other realms.
He defeated the Celestials with all 6 stones do people keep forgetting that? Here he only had 3 stones and Galactus is only stronger than Celestials if he's fully fed and not weakened.

I remember reading online. In the comics Thanos has resistance to spells and magic. And he could also release energy beams himself without the stones. They changed thanks in the MCU.

ah man yeah people tend to do annoying things in theaters, when the point is to escape reality and get immersed in the story! I too enjoyed the movie, there were some areas I wish there was less of like the "jokes" it was a bit *too much* for me. I know Marvel has a great way of immersing slap stick funny side line jokes, but I felt there were too many. But I really did like it overall.

The infinity stones are limited by their users. The Gardener for instance used the time gem almost unconsciously, thinking it was his skill at gardening that made the plants bloom so perfect. The Celestials should actually be bigger but I think they can shrink and grow at will.
Unless Thanos has all six stones, he would not stand a chance with a Celestial with two or four that he had on him at the time.
I don't see a problem with any of it.
More like eson is too small. All celestial are 2000 feet tall. Not sure if they will be that size in the mcu. But even in the gotg scene. When we saw eson destroy a planet. He was gigantic in size. So it looks like they will be at their comic book height of 2000 feet.

I'm assuming the whole essence of each Infinity Stone is related to the murky principles of most crystalline gemstones in that their seen energy seems infinite to the uneducated and inexperienced. The power of the infinite unknown is greater than the perceived known.
