This fight already happened in a crossover in the 90's . Darkseid Omega beams had no effect on Galactus and Galactus only left when he found out apocalypse was a dead planet
@@dtown4712 Galactus also only fought an avatar of Darkseid, he never fought Darkseid's true form. True Form Darkseid would easily defeat Galactus.
Simply because Galactus is only a universal constant in Marvel multiverse with each universe having it's own Galactus. Whereas Darkseid's true form is stated to exist beyond DC's multiverse and is a God.

One thing people always forget is that the Darksied that is in the DC universe is not the real Darkseid. It's only his avatar. His "real body " is "outside" of the DC universe on Fourth World, with the other gods. You can do whatever you want to his avatar but it doesn't have a real effect on the real him. If it's destroyed he can simply recreate another. If the real Darkseid enters the universe canonically he is roughly the size of our sun and damages reality just with his presence. Personally I think full in person Darkseid has the edge in raw power, but Galactus would still win in the end as long as he also uses his superior technology and actually takes it seriously. They both have ways to completely end each other. Galactus with his Nullifier can erase even the real Darkseid, while Darkseid can permanently trap Galactus in his infinite time loop hell,( can't remember the name of it offhand.)

@@shevyalvia6491 maybe, maybe not. While Galactus COULD consume Darkseid in theory, in the middle of combat he could only do it if it's the "right" type of energy. Even when he consumes worlds, he often has to use his technology to convert that world's energy into one he can absorb. See the first time he tried to eat the Earth. He needs technology to convert it into a form he could "digest." Which goes back to my point in the first post. He arguably has less raw power than Darkseid full incarnate, but has billions of years more in experience and FAR more advanced technology that I think would give him the edge to win more times than not.

Galactus is waaay beyond Superman's league, and way more powerful than Darkseid.

@90210Skye I gotta say I think you underestimate how powerful darkseid is he is a god and is able to take down the entire justice leauge and the justice league could overpower the avengers, and probably give Galactus a good fight
@williamdunn336 Yes, not to nerd out too much 😏, but Darkseid (my 2nd favorite villain only to Dr. Doom) could take down the justice league and Marvel heroes without a problem, but Galactus is a near-entity, who ranks one level below Eternity: On the same power level as the celestials, he might as well be a God. His origins date back before the big bang.

@williamdunn336 Yeah, but don't get me wrong about Darkseid. He's nothing at all to play with, and I also think he is the most intimidating of all of the villains all due his mixture of ruthlessness, power and presence. He nails all that is cool about a great villain (Thanos talks too much) 😎

@@ItApproaches he was born in Apokalips as Uxas and that is his true form. He is not a cosmic entity. Later he gained powers of the new gods but that doesn't change who he is. Eventually he became ruler of that planet.

I often wonder will this video ever get old for me. I have watched it over 50 times already. And yet, here l am again. Galactus and Darkseid have always been my 2 favorite supervillains of all time. I always thought they were the most powerful villains for their respective companies. This video is don't so well until I think it's a true masterpiece. Thank you.

This was very well done, and super entertaining to watch... kudos! However.... Darkseid would have to put all his powers and resources to bear at 110%, and get extremely lucky, to mount an attack that Galactus would even notice. This battle simply wouldn't happen. But again, great job!

Except Galactus only fought an Avatar of Darkseid and not his true form. Darkseid's true form exists outside of DC multiverse and stated to be a god of evil itself.
@@marcusking332 you guys always try your best with this true form darkseid stuffs, you have to understand that darkseid is not the most powerful being in both marvel and DC, trigon is literally more powerful than darkseid, and I won’t waste time arguing that just check it up, maybe they are trying to make darkseid the universal villain and neglecting the original comics but it doesn’t mean he is the all be all also in the original comics darkseid himself says he doesn’t like avatars so he almost never uses them, you can also check that up, apart from the fact that darkseid is powerful I hate the way he is projected because it makes it look like there is none other than him which is simply not true.

While Gods can do damage to a planet at most, Galactus is cosmic being who can consume planets.

To be honest Silver Surfer is powerhouse enough to go one on one against Darkseid and not be killed off that easily.
He can beat Orion, Orion is not as much of an impressive powerhouse nor does he have versatile abilities either I am certain SS can hold his own against Darkseid a lot easier than Orion can
Also Darkseid can’t access his true power without ALE which can unlock a pathway to true form Darkseid however TF Darkseid is not as impressive as ALE powdered Darkseid since that version of Darkseid has almost no feats while ALE Darkseid have demonstrated feats that are equal to power of Infinity Stones/Infinity Gems.
Galactus is more powerful than both Orion and Darksied combined.

As a matter of fact, bigger than our solar system. New Gods are as big as the sun. Darksied can grow more too. Afer this battle. Since galactus travel to a different plain of reality. Since Glactus is still in the DC universe. Yea The Specter is going to pay him a visit. Wondering what the hell the Galactus doing in this reality. Oh and The Specter will know who Galactus is. He will know he is not from this mutiverse but a different mutiverse that is not connect on the plain of reality that he guards. Probably will demand Galactus to go back to his reality or else. Ether way the fight will be even far more insane than vs Darksied. Superman doesn't stand a chance vs Galactus. Who said Superman will do it alone? The Specter might go inside Superman, to face Galactus in the body of Superman. Yes The Specter does this so that he doesn't damage the mutiverse of the DC universe and higher. However Galactus battle will force The Specterto get out of Superman body and go fight Galactus in full The Specter powers. Ether way the mutiverse of DC is screwed. Because their battle will damage the mutiverse in a side effect.

This fight is far closer then you think. Darkseids true form is far more powerful then his vessels we see in media. His true form looks like a fiery spirit looking being.
His mere presence destroys universes, that's why he uses his vessel to travel, so he doesn't destroy it, his goal is domination.
Galactus wouldn't have won the fight so easily, in fact he could lose against a being that lives on a high plane of reality then he does.
Galactus is a traveler of the multi version but he has fought few beings from higher planes before and barely made it out alive.
Credit for making the video, its slow, you need to increase the speed of things. Effects are great though. Keep trying and get better :3

As a long time viewer of Death Battle: Destroying the Boards means nothing. And Galactus _canonically_ one shot Darkseid in the DC/Marvel crossover. Which is, again, canonical.

Galactus, an almost Divine being whose HUNGER devours entire worlds, is almost not invincible!!.Only the genius of Reed Richards was able to defeat him, so much so that Lilandra, Empress of the Shi'ar, had him arrested and put in chains because he would have killed Galactus by altering the balance in the Universe!!!

I love Darkseid but Galactus would wipe the floor with him. Only a few could handle Galactus. Beyonder for example.
Darkseid is actually unfathomably powerful. His true Being exists in the 4th Dimension and is Multiversal. Galactus, at best, is Universal. Just the avatars of Darkseid, who contain a tiny fraction of his power, can defeat the entire JL and Green Lantern Corps combined.
Galactus is beyond all superheroes and villians. Ridiculous. Love the visuals though
