- There are a ton of powerful characters within the Marvel Universe. I mean, this is a world full of superheroes after all so that’s kinda to be expected. However today, I’m not gonna be talking about any of those costumed heroes, nor any of their villains. At least, not the traditional ones. Nope, instead I am going to be discussing beings that tend to make them look like unpowered simpletons by comparison; the Celestials. Specifically, a small handful of the most powerful, ranked by how much they could kick your butt. Yes, I am talking to you in particular Greg.

One Above All is Stan Lee. We all know Stan Lees favourite character was Spider-Man & the ‘One Above All’ comforted Spider-Man when he was grieving. One Above All never helped/appeared for any other character.
It’s not that one above all. "The one above all" appeared in Spider-Man is the creator of everything and the other one above all is just a celestials.

@@cowboychungus2060 I think that's the other way around. "The One Above All" is the Celestial Leader and "One-Above-All" is Jack Kirby, i.e the god of the Marvel universe
So...I should have mentioned this in the video, which is my bad.
There are two different characters called "One Above All," one is a Celestial (the one I talk about in this video) and one is significantly higher up the cosmic hierarchy. Despite the same name, they are not the same character.

'Significantly higher up' doesn't really cover it! The real One Above All is the true creator and (in their other aspect as 'The One Below All') destroyer of reality--which _contains_ the Omniverse. They just cannot be compared to any other being--even gods such as Odin and co--because they exist _beyond_ anything else! If every Celestial, Host, or God allied themselves with Thanos wielding his Infinity Gauntlet on one hand and holding the Heart of The Universe in the other _and_ The Living Tribunal they would still be incomprehensibly outclassed by the real One Above All. It is not so much a question of comparing 'power levels' as it is comparing two entirely different things. Everything that exists--including the destructive or creative powers their superhuman abilities grant--do so because the One Above All wants it to. They could simply decide that it shouldn't and it wouldn't!
For easier way to differentiate, I believe one is called, " *The One Above All/ TOAA* " (I do believe this one is the Celestial)
While the other is "One Above All/OAA".
In this aspect, " The" is their difference in name. (This one I believe to be Stan Lee or whatever current writer at that particular moment)

These videos are really cool to listen to when I’m driving down the road. I never read the comics, and I never had too much interest in them, but it is fun to listen to all the lore that lay within them

@@thomassmith8594 I dunno about that. Depending on Thor love and Thunder, GOTG vol. 3 and the Eternals 2 go… IF done right- Marvel can make bank. The way Marvel is currently handling the cosmic side: not too bad, room for improvement? Sure. But all things considered? Not bad.
The Celestial who calls himself 'One Above All' is not the _actual_ One Above All. The latter is the 'true ultimate' power in the Marvel universe and The Living Tribunal serves _him._

I think Ego was a celestial seed that missed its mark. It was sent to a planet, and never got there. So from that point forward, the rest of what Ego explains as his story, is accurate.
He "was" a Celestial...or, he was meant to be one. But something went wrong, and he became something else. Not exactly a Deviant as they're known, but definitely a "corrupted" Celestial of a sort.
Thats why his powers and form are so weird by comparison, and why he seems a bit underpowered when next to the other Celestials. He's essentially a "premie" Celestial that ended up a dwarf by their standards.
But, had his plan worked, he'd have ended up easily out-powering the entire lot of the other Celestials, and every other being like them.
At least...that's the most sensible explanation out of what's available in the MCU currently, that doesn't contradict anything presented so far, or fabricate anything that hasn't been shown.
The truth, is that the writers had no fucking clue what they were doing in the first place, and weren't paying attention to any of it anyway.

That's what I thought, that he was a lost seed but gained cosmic power and turned himself into a planet. But then he might be a powerful deviant that managed to kill a celestial and gained their powers because he isn't a normal celestial so he might be something else
So basically Exitar The Executioner is Marvel's version of Beerus.
What about Scathan the approver, he even helped the Living Tribunal when Protege took the Tribunals powers only Scathan could stop him. Now thats power.
Godhead wasnt a monster at all, he literally just put a useless trinket down and exposed them as utterly unworthy, as they were willing to murder everyone over it.
He gave them a mirror to see their monstrous reflections in.

In the comics ego is a celestial that had his memory wiped by the other celestial for being a threat to them it wasn’t until his consciousness began to awaken forming planet ego

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. A Thor comic showed some Gods which were above Odin. And they spoke of the One Above All which was the first time Marvel admitted there was "one true God."
Yea the true One above all is the creator of all. So anybody that exists in the multiverse is far below him in terms of power.

So to touch on Ego, There is a possibility maybe? As we know Celestials can die, but they have powers beyond imagining. Ego has many incredible powers, from controlling his entire planetary body, to being able to create a Construct to carry part of his consciousness into space to do what he did in the MCU.
Now as we know, At the center of Ego in the MCU at least was an actual brain. As we can see, in terms of the size of Ego, that brain was rather small. Compared to a sentient Planet like Mogo From the Green Lanterns. Also Ego showed a Far greater ability the Mogo did in controlling it's surface, and commination. In the comics, Ego could talk AS a planet, and even in one Cartoon I saw, Battled Galatus to a standstill.
Okay okay, so all this said, is it possible that Ego is the Brain of an otherwise Dead Celestial? One that possibly landed on a planet or even died in space and figured out how to live beyond it's host body and drew in material from all around it to form a Planetary cocoon around it?
Which one of these Celestials do you think is the best as well as the most powerful and would win against each other?

I thought the one above all was effectively like Stan Lee so wouldn't that technically make him even over the living tribunal? I was under the impression nothing was above the one above all.
I just checked online it seems to say that the one above all is Stanley Lee and the other designers of the comic universe. So is there a celestial and non celestial version of the one above all.

Well “OOA” and “TOAA” are two different beings. This is proved when thanos absorbed the power of OOA and still stated to feel some other presence stronger than him

I think Marvel has the perfect opportunity to dispel what they did in guardians of the galaxy vol.2, that Ego isn’t a celestial. Could just say he lied, trying to impress his many kids just for his foil in integrating himself with the planets he had impregnated their mothers on.

Actually the strongest celestial is scathan the approver wich was capable of overpowering protege wich had previously defeated the living tribunal, the beyonder and was about to become the new one above all
he didn't beat the beyonder, they didn't fight, tlt came before they begun. scathan simply blindfolded him!!!. i know, the story is very stupid, protege reached equallity with tlt, so tlt said that he can now be the new tribunal. it really doesn't matter who is the tribunal, as long as their is one. warlock has also become tlt. once protege said that he is now the new one above all, tlt said that this was blasfemy and absorbed him. if protege was more powerfull, tlt could have never killed him. but again, the whole story is stupid, they destroyed a character who had good potential...
Actually according to my calculations ego is a celestial because the only reason star lord could hold the power stone in guardians of the galaxy is because he was half celestial cause of his dad

So it makes sense for Ego, to be born on his own.

Well actually Ego is an Elder not a celestial. He created Peter who IS now based on his creation a Celestial. Peter has but one flaw that holds him back which truthfully is a good thing. Peter has human emotions and humility. He does not put himself above anyone. He does have an ego like his dad but he is more humble about his greatness than he knows. He felt deepest sorrow when Ego died and his powers diminished because he thinks he lost them. Adam Warlock can see inside Peter and can see the greatness he contains but he also sees the turmoil of human nature inside as well so just like Dr Strange he can see many multiple possibilities Peter is capable of and that holds him back from giving him the help he needs to achieve it. The power stone is not the strongest but it is the most dangerous and he held it bare handed alone without dying. He is still a mostly blank canvas with endless possibilities. Ego actually learned something during his defeat, not death and will be changed when he returns but yes he still is not quite on the right path then.

Ego is not a celestial, he was created in a lab along with his brother, alter ego. Ego learned of his true origin and that he had a brother; Alter-Ego, who had been imprisoned by the Collector.[4] Alter-Ego was created to despise his brother as the Stranger wanted to learn who was superior through battle. MCU takes individuals from the comics,and change everything about them. Now DC is doing that with Black Adam.

Tiamut is definetely the most powerful celestial. It was said in comics. The was more powerful than all other celestials together, so they couldnt defeat him. The one above all only is the leader, but Not the most powerful.!

Hey! Let me give some fun facts for you these facts are not canon at all in the MCU nor is it canon in the comics(I think)
Star lord is stronger than eson technically the guardians of the galaxy are stronger than eson for a simple reason they did beat eson at one point in time and that point is... Ugh Lego marvel super heroes 2 it's the first ever mission and it's really easy but technically I'm not wrong since in the end eson the celestial "dies" by the hand of the Guardians (Petter's gravity bomb)

The one above all is the capital g God in the marvel universe not a celestial. Why do I get the feeling that you don't actually read comics or even research them. It's like you read a few random articles and claim to know marvel inside and out. You probably read an article where it listed the one above all as being a celestial being and assumed that that meant he was a Celestial. The celestial beings or beings whose names and identities are in fact aspects of existence. They can project corporeal forms but they do not have bodies and their true forms are the tangibilities of the aspects of existence. These are beings like eternity, The living tribunal, Infinity, etc. And at the very top is the marvel universe's version of the capital g God the one above all. And it's kind of understood that the one above all is just Jack Kirby inserting himself into his own stories as he is the god of the marvel universe.
Pst...there are two separate characters called OAA. One of which is the Celestial I talked about in this video. One is basically God.
