I have the same car. It has covered 160000 miles. It has a full Toyota service history. The car looks as it did when we bought it. The only thing we are going to do more regularly is to change oil every 5000 miles. We are going to clean EGR pipe and get an additional oil change to the gearbox. Happy safe motoring my friend.
Do not forget to clean intake manifold and check PCV valve while you are there ;). I will stick to the recommended oil interval of cca. 9.000 miles since the car is used in a perfect way regarding the oil longevity. Only longer trips of cca. 30 miles one way and majority at higway with 65 miles/h. Almost no city driving. I have checked and the oil is still fine after that.
Vozim ta avto že sedem let in sem zelo zadovoljen. Moj je letnik 2012 in ima cca 220.000 prevoženih km in se prvo baterijo. Najverjetnejši razlog za pokvarjeno baterijo pri tvojem avto je zanemarjenost notranjosti. Vsa ta umazanija je onemogočila prezračevalni sistem za hibridno baterijo, baterija se je pregrevala kar je povzročilo da je predčasno odpovedala. Nujno očisti prezračevalni sistem z ventilatorjem za baterijo... Drugače pa je to super avto, poraba bencina je pri zmerni vožnji tudi pod 4 litre, tehnika je zanesljiva in vožnja je zelo prijetna. Srečno vožnjo!
Se strinjam glede vzroka za zamenjano baterijo. In čimprejšnje čiščenje prezračevalnega sistema je na to do listi. Vključno s čiščenjem celotnega EGR sistema, ki je tudi velika rak rana teh vozil. Je pa zanimivo, da se kar nekaj teh vozil prodaja z zamenjano baterijo (sem spremljal trg kar nekaj časa pred nakupom). Imate morda občutek o porabi pri vožnji po AC, kjer hibridni sklop ne pride toliko do izraza?
@@MtlCarGarage Smo se poteptali po Italiji dva tedna nazaj. Po prevoženih 2500 kilometrih, 80% po avtocesti, je bila povprečna poraba 5.3 l/100 km. Avto je bil polno naložen in opremljen s stresnim kovčkom, 2 odrasla + otrok. Vozili smo po omejitvah, 130km/h kjer je bilo to mogoče po ac, po regionalnih cestah 90km/h. Brez strešnega kovčka in večinoma po avtocesti pri vožnji po omejitvah je poraba pod 5 litri. LP
@@MtlCarGarage za EGR ventil sicer se nisem slišal da bi delal probleme in kar se tiče hibridne baterije me bo začelo skrbeti tam pri 350.000 kilometrih 😊..
Zavore rade rjavijo ker avto zavira pretežno s pomočjo generatorja, v notranjosti je predvsem pozimi kar nekaj čričkov in zvočna izolacija bi lahko bila boljša. Do sedaj sem zamenjal pri 150.000 komplet zavore, ki so bile še od novega na avtu, pred 20.000 kilometri sem zamenjal prednje vzmeti in stabilizatorje. Vse ostalo je na avtu še vedno original od novega. Redni servisi na 15.000 km in to je to..

How's the car now? Any issues? I've just bought a 2012 plate.
No issues until now, except small rust spot on the right rear back. I did all the necessary maintenance (coolant change, gearbox oil change, oil change, battery vent cleaning, intake manifold cleaning, all filters replacement) which was not really cheap, but the car should be ready for second “life”. I will make a video about everything. The average consumption is almost the same as on my Octavia 2.0TDI DSG, 4.7 l/100km. For now, we are satisfied with the car.

I always like to get the used car that I buy into top shape and with small luck I get next 4 years with only regular service work needed.
