It’s so sweet how Dakota is making fun and changing the tone knowing he’s not okay.
I feel that this is under-appreciated
She seems like a real friend to him
I sensed this too. She was trying to lighten the mood and it worked.
We all need a Dakota
Oh man I totally didnt catch the crying part. It seems like they really bonded.
Say what you want about Shia but one thing he's always been is authentic, even at 16 the guy was totally himself.
Agree
True, he’s definitely one of those actors you can tell is always authentic. He’s not puttin a show on for anyone.

Shia is such an underrated actor... glad hes doing movies again!!
I don't think so, I think most people who are honest will plainly state, personal shit aside he's an amazing actor. Anyone saying otherwise either hasn't seen anything outside of Transformers 2 or doesn't know acting.

No, Jon Favreau made the call to give the role to RDJ. Now, Kevin might give Shia a chance, but remember Robert was struggling with addiction, Shia had problems with assault, drugs, alcohol, PTSD. The point I’m making is Shia has a much longer rap sheet than Robert did

He's emotional because he's looking back at the Video like if I only knew then what I know now.
Shia has always been a very deeply sensitive, genuine human being. Do you guys remember after 9/11, Disney channel dedicated an entire "Express Yourself" short to it? And 14 year old Shia read a beautiful poem he had wrote about that experience. He also did that really deep movie, True Confessions on Disney where he played a teenager with developmental disabilities. I'm glad to see he's in a good place now! I've been a fan since day one, and I really relate to his artistic side.
This is great to see him back on his feet. Kudos dude. He’s a great actor and so much to offer. Hope this goes all the way..
Why didn't the interviewer pick up on his reaction and ask what was going through his mind. Such a missed opportunity
Cause if you follow all of his crazy antics and sharades it's obvious he didn't know what he was doing for a while and like his costar said in that interview he wasn't a pretentious dick all those years ago in that interview.

Shia is one of the best actors out there... Sure he's had his issues, but the man is masterful in his portrayal of characters.
The interviewer asked Shia if he got used to being famous like he didn't wear a paper bag over his head that said "im not famous." 😂
She probably not old enough to remember that. Lmfao
Shia is a good person stuck in a famous persons body. He doesn’t like the fame but he loves to act and get better at his craft. One of the best actors bar none. We all have demons and Shia has had to live with those in public and not private like we get to. Props to this man
You explained it perfectly. You can tell he loves acting but he doesn't like the Fame. He is very great actor. I hope he'll be able to balance everything out.
Jarrad Williams you can tell the passion he has for his craft. It just sucks the media trash and slander this man. Yes he has made some mistakes and so has everyone. I’ve enjoyed almost all of his roles he has ever done. He is highly underrated as an actor. Hopefully we start seeing him in bigger productions and higher budget movies.
@@getbetterdrunky7612 could you explain in short what Shia has been through? I haven't paid that attention that much to him throughout the years, unfortunately. Mann... There's a few actors that rose to the top or would of been kings of the movie scene and fell. Glad to see him back.💯⚡
hes been doing really great movies for the last couple of years they have just been indies
Hey never really fell. He just pulled away from the blockbuster and started doing the things he loved. I get he has had some personal demons he's fought, but as far as successful careers go, he's the one who has controlled his path.
Like what Matthew Hudgens just said people seem to think because he is an artist outside of his movie career and stoped doing blockbusters and started doing indies that he was in trouble or something, he wasn't. He has had some addiction issues with booze for sure but he is just one of many A lister who has, he just didn't care to hide it as much. Im not a big fan of his accent in Nymphomaniac but all his work has been on point. Choosing quality over money is not falling from the top. Most of these guys at the top making big money are buying 25 mill houses while pontificating about actualizing empathy its bullshit they haven't learned a thing. if your family is fed and safe for the rest of their lives you have shelter good job good health and want for nothing why do you need three Porsches and two motorbikes and 3 houses.
I met Shia when he was filming ‘Transformers 2’ on my ship when I was in the military, and it was just after he had gotten into that bad accident where he flipped his truck. He was soo nice and soo freaking handsome. After I got a pic with him, I felt the need to bolt and get out of his hair, because he just shot a scene and maybe was like “Go away” or something, but in reality I think he just wanted to talk to someone and looked like he needed a hug. I felt for the guy, because being in the military was lonely at times, but being in his shoes must be the same way at times with “fake people”, but the guy was definitely dealing with some demons at the time. I’m glad he’s doing good again. He’s very talented and friendly.
