That's what I love about Luffy bro he didn't have to learn about all the history to feel motivated, and he wasn't taking initiative to interfere with the crew's business, he is just there, "in case you need help, I am here." And simply waiting for her to just ASK.
That's right lol. Luffy was moved to take action against Arlong simply because he saw Nami cry. This shows that Luffy has a strong sense of empathy and compassion, and he is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. It is one of the things that makes him such a great leader and role model. Nami had been living in fear of Arlong for many years, and she had been forced to work for him in order to protect her friends and family. When Luffy saw her cry, he knew that she had been suffering for too long. He decided that he had to do something to help her, even if it meant putting himself in danger. This act of kindness and compassion is one of the defining moments of One Piece. It shows that Luffy is a hero who is willing to fight for what is right, and it is an inspiration to fans all over the world.
@@Suto_KoLuffy is no hero, you know the definition of hero according to him right? Lol. On a serious note, Impel Down arc discounted him on being one.
@@shiro_zac3000 No matter what he says, he's still a hero He's not a villain & he's not a anti-villain (They have good intentions but how they get to that point is evil, Examples : Garou, Stain, Itachi) Which means he's a hero, more directly an Anti-Hero Either That Or He's Simply Neutral
this is it right here fellas. the "help me"/walk to arlong park episode is what many fans will call "the point of no return" and is TO THIS DAY still considered one of the best moments in the history of OP congratulations, youre officially straw hats now 🎉 (also fun fact, the scene of the 4 guys actually walking to arlong park was not in the manga, it's an anime only scene that the animation studio decided to include to help pad time. obviously that decision worked out pretty well LMAO)
It’s where I stopped having to trade movies with my brother for him watching episodes. He was ho,e sick one day and I was using the Bathroom (his tv was on the other side of the wall) and I heard one piece and was like SpongeBob in just one bite
The zoro vs king and luffy v kaido vid they did where they compared the og ep 1 and 2 with like 1070 and 1071.. seeing how good the animation always intrigue people who hated the show because it looks goofy
Something else I want to point out about all of this. Luffy has NO idea about what's going on with Nami and this island. He completely skipped her backstory. He hasn't seen the Arlong pirates do ANYTHING, and he has no idea about how much pain, suffering, and imminent danger of death that Nami and the villagers have suffered and are currently suffering. No, the only thing that our captain knows is that that sonofabitch Arlong made our navigator, Nami, cry, and now she's asking for our help. And that's enough for him to get the boys and go take care of business.
That's what I love about him. He knows she's not a bad person, but still respecting Nami's need to execute everything on her own, he waits for her to ask his help.
Luffy never cares about someone's past. He only ever cares about who someone is in the present. And if you are a friend (or if you feed him), he will move heaven and earth to help you, but only if you ask for help.
I've been waiting for you guys to reach episode 37. I always tell everyone to watch till 37 and if they don't like One Piece by episode 37, they can drop it. The Nami "help me" moment is when people go from "hahah funny stretchy pirate boy" to "damn this is actually an amazing story and I wanna see the rest of it".
It's Chouchou, Nami's Help me, or Sanji's backstory for me are the three watershed moments in east blue that make people consistently stick with it tbh.

I’ve been over here giggling at this y’all are too funny bro. Fr making me feel like im watching this show for the first time again when I’m actually rewatching it and I’m at episode 350 AND rewatching it with y’all too😭😭. If y’all love this you’re in for a hell of a ride.
this arc shows well what kind of person Luffy is. absolutely anyone in his place would immediately rush to help Nami as soon as he found out that she was in trouble, but Luffy let Nami solve all her problems by HERSELF, it was clear from him that he really wanted to help and was always nearby, asked many times if she needed help and getting another refusal left, not even I'm thinking of breaking into her personal life. he also wasn't interested in her story, he just needed to know if she needed help and who to kick ass, that's all he needed to know. having received the consent, he immediately went to investigate with a shout analyzing this scene, I think we can come to the conclusion that everyone should adhere to this position "I won't get into your life, but I'm always there just ask." it shows how wise luffy is and yes he is a real captain
What I love about the Crew is that Luffy is so casual and Zoro was just sleeping on the ground during the whole backstory. Luffy is the kind of person who once you're his friend, he can and will do anything in his power to help you, provided you ask for help. He's not the kind of person who just waltzes in and fixes all your problems, he knows something is up with Nami and he knows something is happening but if she doesn't want to be saved by him, he won't move. This is a recurring theme in the future. A little side note is that Luffy only remembers the names of his close friends/crew. If you're an acquaintance he will have some weird nickname for you until you cross the line to becoming either a close friend or crew. This is why Luffy is so casual about everything, this is why he's wandering around wasting time. He's already decided Nami is his Navigator, he's decided there's no one else in the world whom he would rather sail with, and as long as she's in trouble he's going to stick around. He's waiting until she realizes she can rely on him the same way that he relies on her to navigate for him. Now with Zoro bro, he understands how impulsive and hard-headed Luffy is. At this point, he knows Luffy is determined to have Nami on his crew and he knows he will have to take action soon. So rather than sweat the small details, he opts to rest and recover as much as possible for the upcoming fight he knows will happen. Luffy made his decision, Zoro will follow to the best of his abilities, neither needs to know Nami's backstory in order to fight for her.

And now that he’s entrusted his treasure to her, he will fight. Because she has become a part of Luffy’s treasure by wearing that hat. He will protect her. Another W reaction from you all. I've watched this show and read the manga more times that I can count. The scene with the hat always makes me cry. 15 years after I first watched it. This is what I always say to people scared to start the beast that is One Piece, Just watch or read until Arlong Park, if that shit don't hit you you can drop it. Just get to Arlong Park. Watch One Pace instead of the actual show it doesn't matter. Oda can literally destroy you and build you back up with 3 pictures, he's really Goda and it is so touching to see new people get their first taste.
This is only the first of soooooo many more emotional, epic, inspirational scenes of this show. The moments where we see the whole crew together facing an enemy, fighting for a friend, embracing their undestroyable bond as not only as a crew, but as true nakama, are the moments where One Piece shines the most. Way to go boys, the journey has just begun and it's a pleasure to revisit this show with you again. Keep it up, we love you ❤❤❤
Amazing reaction gentlemen!! This was the moment in the anime I knew I was hooked. Oda is such an amazing writer. Absolutely controls and manipulates your emotions. And it only gets better from here. Looking forward to your continued journey with one piece ❤
Fellas you guys are the GOATS, your reaction is exactly what we’ve all gone through and go through every single time we watch that scene. Anyone who isn’t hooked after this need their heads checked out
This is the moment people say is you'll know if you love the series or not. There's even better scenes in the future cause Oda has only been getting better but this is the first great example of the appeal of one piece, the emotional stakes, the rollercoaster of feelings, the charisma, it's all there and it only gets better and better.
esta es la reacción que realmente represento mis sentimientos al ver el "help me" de Nami y lo que engloba esa escena, y si, ese es nuestro capitán. nunca me había emocionado tanto con una caminata. saludos de Mexico.
Brothers at 35:58 if you know the song "I tried" by bone thugs n' harmony and he says "I'll be posted up right here rain, sleet, hail, snow". That's all I need to say. Our crew stay posted up. "Hoping one day you will come and rescue me". This song is arlong park. On my life bro.
I am loving the reactions, it is always great to see new people get into one piece. Goda really knows how to tell a story, while the fights can be a highlight, its the character development and adventure which really propels one piece above a lot of other shows it competes with and has competed with for over 25 years. I hope you guys get lost in this show, like many of us have!
Bro I just binged all of one piece in the last 3 months and let me tell you I been freaking sleep all this time. If you watch up to Arlong Park and aren’t hooked then you don’t deserve One Piece plain and simple I legit cried when Nami broke down and when Luffy put the hat on her - PEAK The walk - PEAK “Which one of you is Arlong?” - *dies from peak*
Episode 37 is the earliest episode to encapsulate everything that is great about one piece. The emotional build-up and release is unparalleled in anime. There are so many great examples throughout the series.
I wish I could go back and rewatch these episodes for the first time but one of the magic things about One Piece is seeing people discover and freak out when they find out why it is so beloved and just falling back in love with the backstories that have brought us up to the current point alongside them.
12:25 I laughed so hard at the reaction… it was so genuine from both of y’all. I love it. If y’all happen to read this I want y’all to know and understand that it is ok to cry/tear up watching this anime. You can only hold it in for so long, trust me HAHAHA
The thing I love about Luffy is that he waited for Nami to ask for help instead of forcing his way into the situation. The way he’s written is beautifully done and consistent and that’s why he’s my favourite MC of all time. Loved your reactions guys another banger 🔥
What I love about this is that Luffy never even forced his help onto others like Naruto. Even when Nojiko was shot, Luffy went up to her and asked her if she wanted help. But there's nothing wrong with forcing help as sometimes that's what is needed. But yeah. Luffy a stepper, y'all!
Finally the one I was waiting for. The walk still is to this day one of the greatest one piece scenes. So is help me. I haven't even seen your reaction yet but I cried when I saw that this was 35-37. So perfect. The term "stepper" probably came from the walk in one piece. I've been waiting since your first one piece reaction video for this exact episode. I will leave an updated comment after I watch this because it hits my heart in a different way. Btw can you do an English reaction to episode 37? It was done really well.
Absolutely love the energy in your reactions, homies! Welcome to the crew! Been following your one piece reactions ever since the king vs Zoro reaction. Keep it up!
Okay gentlemen, it's time: I told you this would be on the test. This is a compare and contrast question. I want you to take how you felt about Nami back in episode 23 and 24 when she stole the ship and sailed off without us (remember I told you to time stamp and hard save those feelings at that time). Now I want you to compare that to how you're feeling about Nami RIGHT NOW. And this is just a TASTE of why One Piece fans say that this story is one of the greatest that's ever been told.
@jeffreymeehan3567 @@OTAKUBROZ Let me start you on the One piece peak mindfuck. You rubberstamped the feeling about Nami right and did a playback? Now rubber stamp how you feelin about the Fishmen and Arlong Park ;). The descent into hell has just begun.

You're this hyped so early in - like you said, there's SO MUCH MORE. So much more emotion, so much more hype, so much more adventure, etc Future arcs, with longer and bigger build-up, more connectivity to the characters, more understanding of the world and the connections between people... For example, (and no spoils, don't worry) the current arc has recontextualised everything we know about a certain character in such a way as to make them now considered one of the best written characters in the series. And they have a hell of a lot of competition. Oh, and the world. Wait until you start hitting the mysteries, getting answers and more questions on top of those answers. It's an addictive cycle. Only in One Piece would people go wild over chapters that are just information-based - the lore drops in this series are wildin' and just as hype as the best battles and emotional scenes. It's truly a modern day Epic.
Love this! Welcome to the One Piece fam. I once was a hardcore Naruto guy like 15 years ago but once i gave OP a chance there was no looking back. GOATED.

Made it to stream briefly to drop love, couldnt wait for this 🙌
Amazing reaction gentlemen!!
Love you guys, putting out these amazing videos almost everyday is an absolute treat. I hope you make it your goal before the end of the year !
esta es la reacción que realmente represento mis sentimientos al ver el "help me" de Nami y lo que engloba esa escena, y si, ese es nuestro capitán. nunca me había emocionado tanto con una caminata.
saludos de Mexico.
Ayoooo!
I been waiting for yall to get to this part....this where the OP addiction truly sets in😍
Bro I just binged all of one piece in the last 3 months and let me tell you I been freaking sleep all this time.
If you watch up to Arlong Park and aren’t hooked then you don’t deserve One Piece plain and simple
I legit cried when Nami broke down and when Luffy put the hat on her - PEAK
The walk - PEAK
“Which one of you is Arlong?” - *dies from peak*
2 of the most ICONIC moments in manga history in this arc.
One piece at it's prime.
Love Nami's backstory
Episode 37 is the earliest episode to encapsulate everything that is great about one piece. The emotional build-up and release is unparalleled in anime. There are so many great examples throughout the series.
Glad yall loving the show and you guys are officially apart of the crew! Strawhats for life! #Goatpiece
12:12 😂they got him💀
I wish I could go back and rewatch these episodes for the first time but one of the magic things about One Piece is seeing people discover and freak out when they find out why it is so beloved and just falling back in love with the backstories that have brought us up to the current point alongside them.
Gracias por la reacción! Tengo muchas ganas de volver a ver OP con vosotros
i just stumbled upon this channel , i love how you guys are so invested in this , i subbed after watching this vid.
The absolute joy I got watching yall react to that walk to arlong park is unspeakable. Cant wait till y’all see the fight! Lets go CREW!!!
One Piece just gets better and better man. This is gonna be a special special journey. LETS GOOOOOOOOO
Absolutely love the energy in your reactions, homies! Welcome to the crew! Been following your one piece reactions ever since the king vs Zoro reaction. Keep it up!
This must be like 100th time I see this scene (no kidding) and I still cry.
I've been waiting for this moment ever since your journey started.
😮💨😮💨 woww
@jeffreymeehan3567 @@OTAKUBROZ Let me start you on the One piece peak mindfuck. You rubberstamped the feeling about Nami right and did a playback? Now rubber stamp how you feelin about the Fishmen and Arlong Park ;). The descent into hell has just begun.
18:15 Maverick got me crying
Bro I love their reaction it was priceless😂 one piece is truly the greatest
Best reaction for those episodes ive seen so far, You guys got my like sub and share button.
appreciate the grind you been flying through the series ✌
The stepper moments that are coming, glad to be on this journey with y'all
From One Piece haters to One Piece enjoyers... Like most people, all it took was a chance to convince them otherwise. Glad to see y'all enjoying our favorite anime and manga. You earned yourselves a sub, keep doing what you're doing fellas!
this scene start makes me fall in love with one piece ngl GOAT!!!
35:30 I swear to God this scene be hitting better than a pre-workout 🥶🏴☠
Welcome to the crew~ love yall always great seeing your reactions, now you understand why so many of us resonate with characters in the series because Goda been building One Peak since the start there is a beauty in some simplicities and I'm glad you guys are enjoying the emotional rollercoaster that is One Peak now move onward brotherz find your treasure and grab your dreams~!!
These few episodes are the reason I committed to one piece, glad to see you guys enjoying this show as much as I have. Congrats on 8k subs I know you guys will hit 10k and further in no time, keep up the grind and take your own pace!
38:34 This realization is crazy. There's a thousand more left to go. And everyone says it keeps stepping? You just board with Luffy, nowhere else to go.
Yoooo I've never seen a reaction like this! And I've seen more than 20
Then you’ll love this channel 😮💨💯
Nostalgic watching you’re reaction to the walk for the first time. I wasn’t as animated when I first saw this, on the exterior but the interior… absolutely
I cant remember how i reacted to this scene because i started watching this show way back in the way on fox kids in the early 2000’s i think but yall reaction had have something close to how i reacted because this was gold !
Yall are the 🐐
Keep up the great content ! 💯
Also to do add in the early 2000's i had to watch this on tv weekly so this moment was really cool experience to have especially with the new reanimation scene.
Top 5 moments in One Piece.
This is it. You've made it. You're in. _And you're never leaving._
You have no idea how hard I laughed at 35:30 I'm crying
We were too hyped 😮💨
@@OTAKUBROZ Safe to say you aren't One Piece haters anymore 😆
"Im feeling too much bro" - Basically sums up what ONE PIECE is in a nutshell lol
These were the episodes that fully got me invested into one piece as well! Great video!!
Loving the reactions yall!!!! Making relive it like its the first time again. Yall not even scratching the surface too. But this definitely is a cold ass moment in One Peak!!!!
I have been waiting for this moment, and y'all did not disappoint. It was like experiencing it for the first time. I am so excited to go on this adventure again through your eyes. I really hope you continue this until you catch up. We'll be waiting for you nakama

Marvin’s reaction in this one was hilarious!! Top notch man!!!
19:15 one thing about luffy is he dont need to hear no story to beat a nga ass 🫣
I remember when they first reacted to gear 5 the guy on the left (think your name is Marv) didnt like op to begin with and the guy on the right knew some details (joyboy being their saviour). seeing yall growth is amazing. to get to this point and see why we rock with luffy and the fact he put it in his top 3 now. yall are in for a treat man, much love

35:28 man's laughing like Joyboy 😂😂 contagious fr

I felt how you felt, guys! Loved this reaction. It's exactly what these episodes deserve. 💜
I remember yall reacting to the gear 4 stuff and not sure how youd feel about getting into it. So happy to see yall come around. ( had to go back 7 months to see this moment)
AND THIS…was the moment I knew….that I was in for the long haul. Welcome fellas. I have been waiting for you both to get here…and y’all did not disappoint. Now get ready for the captain to do his business.
34:55 yea them boys locked in, is amazing to see we all had the same reaction
Bruh Ive been watching all ur one piece reactions after seeing the Zoro v King fight way back, and each vid uploaded is absolute peak
You're this hyped so early in - like you said, there's SO MUCH MORE. So much more emotion, so much more hype, so much more adventure, etc
Future arcs, with longer and bigger build-up, more connectivity to the characters, more understanding of the world and the connections between people...
It's truly a modern day Epic.
bro its 1am in India, I was asleep and saw your notif when I woke up to drink some water.
Now I am watching this in the middle of the night . CRAZY
Wow your the 🐐🐐🐐
damn same its now 2 am
37:57 whats that song?
I was thinking it was "just the two of us" but its a bit different?
Id say its s lofi version of just the two of us

Love this! Welcome to the One Piece fam. I once was a hardcore Naruto guy like 15 years ago but once i gave OP a chance there was no looking back. GOATED.
