+TacticalJackalope thanks Andy, the next two videos on the channel hopefully to have them up by tomorrow will your kit :) and unboxing video I'm also reading to tackle the lanc over the break too ;)
going through the ship model kits in 1/350 scale in all my favourite model shops now :) that kit looks very doable, takes away the scary part of ship models. i find them hard to paint, but the challenge can be turned into a very rewarding feeling once it has been mastered. great review of the kit and i enjoyed the background history you gave us in particular. i know nothing about ships, even less about ships from other nations. what a badass ship she was!
+Hamilkar Barkas Thanks Micheal very glad you enjoyed my friend ! Her history is amazing so deployments all over the globe ! I could spent the entire video and more going through her history alone ! It will be quite the challenge but it will be very rewarding and I think the three of us are quite up the challenge ;)
Just got this kit and im super excited!. I spent a little extra for the wood decking. I plan to paint her in the 1930's off white color scheme and tri colour turret markings
Shane nice review. I just ordered a Dragon 1/350 German Z-38 Destroyer kit. After watching your video and Guido's video on the Graf Spee I'd like to give a ship model a try. I have to agree, rigging gets me nervous... Happy Holidays to you and your family...
Academy ships are great models the graff spee is awesome and they also make the railings in the kit too so you don't have to go third party bud cool model :)
+Clayton McClain Thanks Clayton, I was thinking the same that's what spurred me on to pick up this kit as I noticed I didn't really have any big capitol ships and I've always had soft spot for them so I decided to take the plunge and try to build one !
+Clayton McClain Bismarck and Hood are on my list, their story is what got me into history to begin so they will be on the bench some time in the future
Nice kit Shane. I did enjoy the background info in the beginning very useful indeed. I will look forward to progress videos on this beauty!
