This company celebrates kindness meaning drivers who may be worried about stopping to help causing delays have clearly been told that it’s what they stand for, and then each of these kind and thoughtful people got celebrated and it seems like it’s grown. Drivers of public transport put up with so much and seeing their compassion and being recognised is fantastic. Keep it up!
i'm glad to see this type of cultural attitude at a work place. it is good public relations for the company and workers. people do really appreciate the kindness. there is a difference between helping out those in need vs. those expecting a "free" pass to do what they want. Milwaukee is definitely doing the right thing. i've seen similar things in Minneapolis, minnesota. it's just nice to see bus drivers doing the right thing and the employer backing them up.
I live in California, but all public transit companies should celebrate their heroes this way! Bus and train drivers are public servants who keep our cities moving, I will always say thank you for their contribution!!
