- I recently got my hands on a Neko Guitars Claymore 6-string. A very well done guitar in Superstrat-style with a 26,5" scale length, making lower tunings a delight. More info on Neko Guitars here:

All guitars and basses on the demo track have been created with a Axe FXII played directly through the built-in USB audio interface.

been playing 7 and 8 strings so long, only my l.p. feels like the neck isn't gonna snap any second when it comes to 6 strings. whats your preferences on necks? my fav is my jp7, its perfect.

+cyanidejunkie117 Yeah, the headstock might make one nervous, but I checked that first and it's very stable. I am with you on the JP7 neck, but it could be a tiny bit thicker for my personal taste. You be well and safe, man! :)

I just started to learn about neko guitars and things have been looking bad for them. Have any of you heard about this or know what's going on with them? Cause they looked like they had a solid guitar but I'm not looking to have my money jacked.
Yeah, I heard some bad stuff about what going on with Neko the last days. Shame, cause everything looked pretty solid when I bought my guitar back then.
hey mate! i know this is a far shot - but think you could review a guitar from Halo guitars? i've been considering a custom shop from them since they (in my opinion) have the best custumization. but i've also heard some bad things about them (quality wise) some time ago

How do the Neko guitars compare to the Kiesel guitars?
+Benjamin The Neko is very different to the Kiesel models I own. Build quality is good, but still far away from the level that Kiesel will offer you. Neko is still a very young company though.
What do you think of Neko's Claymore? is this worth it's price or worth higher than it's price? i've seen many bashings about Neko just because their latest builds are made in china. I don't think that a chinese made guitar are equal to cheap and garbage. Just give them a chance to proves themselves
+Danu Wisnuwardhana I think it's worth the price and a little more than that in fact. They get a lot of bashing because people seem to be sensitive when companies design a guitar with a Blackmachine-style headstock, except for some builders.
how did Claymore's felt compared to similar price range, for example with Ibanez RG 7421? in terms of overall specs and tone?
Definitely better than a RG7421 tbh.
