Hey nice video. It's good to see some pure heli/recon gameplay on Enigma. I love flying helicopters and i'd like to get into the cold war server to play but i've always felt kinda intimidated by the mechanics of the server. This helped me understand it. Thank you.
Very glad to hear! Two important things for helicopter play probably not apparent from the video: 1. Check current mission runtime before you start. After 2 hours the ground units are recalculated and respawned. After 4 hours the server restarts and also updates the ground units afterwards. You probably want to do your sortie within such a 2 hour time window. (F10-Other > Campaign Overview shows that info too.) 2. You need to know the range of the troops you drop. Currently recon troops reveal ground units in 12.5km radius and standard troops look for targets within 4km, iirc.
