Thanks Ryan for yet another great tutorial. Little tip: Instead of deleting the mountain as on 6:32 and adding the landscape again, you can also click F9 to retain the operating panel. Only in case you just accedental left clicked beside the object. By clicking F9 you can only redo the last action. So if you accedentally left clicked and moved your object, this would open the operating panel for the movement action and not for the mountain creation panel.
@@diegoortiz4404 I get lots of tutorial requests, like at least a couple every day if not more, so I pretty much just say that for all tutorial requests. I try to create tutorial requests if its something that I lot of people ask for, and if its something that I can do, but I can't create all requested tutorials.
Ryan will not tell you no because he always feels that something is missing to know and share, but while you wait for that delivery, search his channel's catalog and you will see that what you have asked for has been explained. a example ruclips.net/channel/UCIXjev1_mJ1plJhF9lGarQg
Lol Ryan King Art, how magnificent. I am creating a Tower Defense game for my school, and I am very thankful to have come across this. Will use it to create major parts of my level. ( I do the art as well as the programming since I am doing a programming study, but I like to practice my art skills at well. )
@@RyanKingArt No problem. Could you also do a video on how to export things like these mountains into Unity? I tried, but part of my meshes are missing (I used your procedural rocky (martian) planet as the material instead of the texture images.) as well as the fact that it doesn't look as rough as in Blender. I don't even know where most textures should go into the material in Unity.
This is an awesome tutorial Ryan! 😃 I've always been interested in modeling amazing looking 3D environments, and the one you created looks amazing! 😃 I'm looking forward to checking out all of your videos in this series. Congratulations again on all of your massive success! It's great to see! I hope you and your family had a great Christmas and New Year! .....and for everyone reading this I wish the best for all of us in 2023! 😃
Useful tutorial, but I'd like to learn how to create or custom your own landscape. For example, how to model a specific mountain or to sculpt a river ?
I just want to ask this even though I just started the video, but is there a way to do an almost voxel texture generation or something where the surface angle determines the material it uses?
Dear Ryan, Happy New Year! You know, I once saw a video of some man from Siberia making sculptures out of ... manure. Call it a joke, but it looks like those mountains were sculpted and textured by that same man. 😳

Can we add thickness to these landscapes, the same as a normal plain, in order to create ground fractures?
