Hello. I took a samsung s21 ultra with exynos 2100 processor however the game call of duty does not work properly, the graphics on the phone are not the best, feel in the game some chopping. Can you tell me what the reason might be?
Because samsung used very bigs and efficients Mangoose cores on exynos compared to arm's ones. But since Mangoose m3, Samsung failed at energy efficiency and m5 was less powerful and heavily less efficient than arm A77. Samsung should reintroduce a new custom architecture like Mangoose and fixs thermal and efficiency issues.

Arun didn't go much deeper in the testing and prematurely concluded that Exynos is inferior once again, but as we can see from your comparison and various other tests from different channels, the devices are pretty much equal in 95% of the workloads. Arun is misleading people.
If you watch Speedtest G, which is scientific rather than based on benchmarks, it is conclusive that the Exynos is inferior to the SD888. There were two tests, one simply running the test once and the SD888 won comfortably (Mainly GPU as the Exynos has an overclocked CPU). The second test was running the app till the battery drained and that showed that the gap between them grew even further, the Exynos throttled substantially and heated up. I think Arun's test supported the more science-based tests and I find it difficult for anyone having seen these videos to conclude that they are similar?

Do a camera comparison
I think snapdragon will always be better because of the components. The phone should be judged with the exynos version, or both separately. Classing it the best phone is not fair if it isnt on both variants.
Well surely a Samsung processor would work better with a Samsung built phone......

Great review. But for the Genshin Impact test, fps is most likely wrong, it's affected by this bug confirmed by Samsung devs: ruclips.net/video/LaygCP0rq3Q/видео.html
Simply put: your measured fps is higher than actual fps. And there's little chance the Exynos can reach average 50fps in Genshin Impact according to my tests.
I Follow your RUclips channel it's great! 👍
An asian guy proved this wrong. It only affects the fps during 24 and 30 fps gameplay. When you play in 60fps it shows the correct fps number.
@@joellindgren7855 apparently no. I've covered that in my video as well. For example when it's showing 60fps, the actual fps could be 50 or something. And this is exactly the case in Genshin Impact game
@@GoldenReviewer Gary from SpeedTest G also tested them against eachother in Genshin Impact and he came to the same result that the snapdragon is a little bit better (5-8fps) than the exynos but not much more then that. And we all know that Gary is an expert when it comes to this.

your benchmark numbers are higher than that of other reviewers. This is why i always take it with a pillar of salt. These are more accurate to the device. Other reviewers abuse the phone then do benchmarks while the phone is throttling. Good vid and nice to know there really isn't much difference between the 2 like otherwise you see on other videos.

Hi, can you do a test on Lineage 2 Revolution by Netmarble? Singapore imported Exynos version and it's very spiky. Is there any way/settings to smoothen it or am i doomed with this phone?
Hello. I took a samsung s21 ultra with exynos 2100 processor however the game call of duty does not work properly, the graphics on the phone are not the best, feel in the game some chopping. Can you tell me what the reason might be?
There was a time when Exynos was good at multi thread performance. Samsung didn't capitalised on that to beat Snapdragon.
Hi, could you please update this test with recent updates? It seems like snapdragon versions got a good boost in performance.
Hi ,Are you still using s21 ultra?
Am having a issue while playing Pubg in my s21 ultra(exynos), "screen shutters" like earthquake.....
Do you face this issue ?
If so ,do you have any solutions for this ?

Because I don't trust samsung completely I'm waiting for the OnePlus 9 Pro 888 vs the Samsung S21 Ultra 888. I would not put past Samsung to intentionally slow down the 888. Not saying that's what they did, just want to make sure.
Exynos runs on higher clock speed to catch up witu snapdragon, id say get a spadragon version of exynos, cool, uses less battery and has good camera

I don't know why I am watching this video I never play games on my phones, I have a PS4 and a PC for gaming. I came here to see the battery performance of each chip, here in the UK we get the exynos 2100..
I still don't understand why Samsung chooses to use two different processors in their devices. With that being said, how many people are actually playing console quality games with their device that they are going to ever see the difference?
@@andyH_England this is a real world test which is far more useful. A looped benchmark is misleading on real world usage. Nobody uses their phone that way
@@mjbowles2000 Yes, it is not about the real world, it is about the capabilities and future-proofing. Of course, in the here and now, the Exynos might be fine, but what about in 2-years time? Some people keep their phones for 4+ years.
I think something went wrong on mrwhosetheboss test. Either his exynos phone is faulty or he had different settings activated in the phone.
I just saw another test here: ruclips.net/video/iyO5UdXRMJ8/видео.html
Which shows that the snapdragon 888 got the exakt same problem as the exynos got on mrwhosetheboss test. And the reason is the "Enhanced processing" was activated on the phone and im starting to suspect that maybe mrwhosetheboss had this activated on the exynos on his test because literally no other test except his has shown this problem with the exynos 2100.
@@andyH_England Andy remember that Gary did the test before any optimization updates had been released. Maybe Samsung has fixed several problems which makes the exynos and snapdragon on par.
Hey guys can someone answer this plz if i import one from the us, what features wont i be able to use since it's not a uk version?
My Exynos s21u overheats during video calls if I multitask! Using the camera seems to be the culprit. Test your S21u. Video call on what's app, while surfing the net and see how long your phone last?
so guys, I have both sd 888 and exynos in my country but ofc the sd 888 is a bit more expensive, should I just go with the exynos or save up and buy the sd 888
So the difference is only barely apparent if playing games all day and not distinguishable under everyday use, correct?
Pretty much. Unless you're playing games at max settings for hours you'll be fine with either
I have exynos s21 ultra and my wife have snapdragon note 20 ultra and i compared them extensively...
believe me....exynos is not good enough.
Forget these bench marks and believe in real world usage
1. Idol battery drain is 3 times higher on exynos
2. Heating issues are pathetic on exynos. Just 10-15 mins into gaming..exynos easily reaches 46-47...while snapdragon stays at 42 deg.
Again...snapdragon supports 90fps and better graphic settings
3. Other than macro mode..i dont see much difference in cameras.
4. And we all know..apps are better optimised for snapdragon.
Samsung still needs a lot of work
Dear people saying the Exynos is better.
If it were better, it would be used in America.
Not 3rd world countries.
nobody's talking about thermals, I bet Exynos runs 10 degree Celsius hotter than SD.
and that kills.
Compare after using the cameras for 10 mins you'll know they're very different phone and it affects the temperature
Excellent video 👍 They are very small differences between those two. Both versions perform equally well. You not missing anything choosing either one. Thanks for sharing 👍😏
i would want the snapdragon because it can run demanding apps for longer and not heating up
People who are senselessly bashing exynos, they need to realise monopoly of Snapdragon will make phones expensive af.
I have question ... if i bought s21 ultra from USA & bring it to Kuwait (middle east) does it have region lock ?
If it's unlocked from Samsung I think it should be fine

Not divided. The ones who are praising done test for a shorter period but for extensive tasks Exynos throttles down the CPU in order to keep the temperature at a safe rate.
