The consistency argument is slightly flawed though, no 2 samples (even with the same hardware) performs exactly the same. Variances will always be a thing. There's a minimum performance guarantee that if not met can be called a defect (and therefore be eligible for a refund/return in most countries).

I read this comment somewhere : eSIM and dual SIM is not supported on any of the US versions of the S21. Is this true ? I am based in Dubai where the cost of S21 Ultra 256 GB (Exenos) is 1037 USD. It supports dual SIM. I was planning to get the Snapdragon version from the US through a friend who is travelling (yes..warranty won't be covered in UAE. I am ok with that). The US Snapdragon version on Amazon costs 1216 USD. Apart from the higher price and me losing the warranty , is it also a single SIM phone?
One have to wonder why samsung team wouldn`t pay special attentiont to exynos version (which they own) rather than sd888. Optimize your product more than the competition for pete`s sake
Mrwhosetheclown must be crying hard seeing others praising Exynos and Exynos itself being fine. That Chinese puppet is such a Samsung hater that he posted a video why not to buy that phone when Samsung was launching the phone very day without even touching the phone. Dude got so much flag that he deleted the video later and praised the same phone. Smh
what about overheating in video recording mode (and video calls) that requires the camera app to close after 15-20 mins, this only affectes Exynos and not Snapdragon..also image processing and results on Exynos is visibly worse.
I'm living in India , I used many of Samsung exynos devices and also used oppo , vivo , mi . But I noticed exynos 850 on samsung is far much better then snapdragon 720 g on redmi note 9 pro , samsung never lags, but redmi has frequent frame drops.
Its because CPU intensive tasks the 2100 throttles and looses performance. These "big" youtubers skipped those tests to favor samsung it seems. They focused on gaming because in that the 2100 is very close.
A challenge for u guys take pubg and put the graphics down to smooth and to frame rate to the max and change the controls to 3 or 4 finger get into rank crown or plus then play for 1 hour then see the reality...no benchmark test can do more than this if you can select server asia because in asia i phone is best 2nd snapdragon then maybe exynos because I never used any media tech chips.
there are 2 reasons I will not get a galaxy s21 first it is not a note, secound there is no expandable memmory. as a power user the xpria 1 III seems a better pick as it has expandable memory etc
Hey Saf, You guys spoke a lot about comparisons and tests performed. But do you know the biggest flaw in s21 ultra? It's recording videos!!! The phone gets so HOT, it ends up stating phone to hot and closes the camera app. And this happens in just 15 to 20 minutes Please do a review about this. Help the consumers understand what they are getting into.
Stupid on behalf of Samsung, they should have released the S21 Ultra in all regions with one chip-set and one chip-set only! The fact that they give some regions the Exynos and other regions the Snapdragon is an unfair advantage or disadvantage to users, the different chip-sets turns the camera on each phone into a totally different experience, and lets face it they brag about being the most powerful camera and better than many other devices on the market today yet the difference between the two chips make each phone incomparable to one another, This year we are boycotting Samsung along with many other Australians and going back to Apple, after many reports of users not being happy feeling like they have been robed over this issue along with further reports of over heating and the phone slowing down substantially, lagging and freezing after a months worth of use.
Why the hell does Samsung release an Exynos version when they KNOW its highly INFERIOR to the Snapdragon.i don't understand! Also why do they in the first place release a Snapdragon version? Why not just release an only Snapdragon or just an Exynos version. Why do 2 countries have different chips? What is the point? Imagine Sony releasing a PlayStation 5 and one country has a superior chipset and another country has an inferior one. Makes no sense to me
The different chips are easily explained: too much demand compared to what can be supplied. You can either have a phone with different hardware or no phone at all...
@@MrBOXA01 You could, but would that be the same as the Samsung device? I doubt it. In the end I actually couldn't care less, I don't use my phone for more than day to day tasks so I got a Samsung A50 for that fantastic display Samsung consistently sells way down the product stack... Can't complain about anything for €200,- 😆
I played PUBG on Exynos S21 Ultra and I can tell it's inferior chip, it was hardly 2 matches that game 🎯 started to drop a lot of frames, and one thing to keep in mind, it was running on Smooth + Extreme, which is lower quality, how bad it would be for HD/HDR and Extreme when PUBG will unlock 🔓 that, which they might not cuz this phone can't handle it.
Saw a guy play over 30min PUBG on his Exynos and it went fine (60fps) through the whole game. So either you have a faulty device or you have something with your settings/updates. Just dubble check so you dont have Enhanced processing or something like that turned on.
Give it some time at first when i played pubg on my snapdragon 855 s10 it lagged and had a lot of frame drops but after few software updates like after a month or so it became better and stabilised a lot it got like stable 60 fps all over with even hdr extreme. So it really needs some updates as it being very new to the market
Bro you spent 1200+USD for playing PUBGM?! You should've bought ROG Phone 3 or wait for ROG Phone 4. Check the reviews with HDR+Ultra and it's locked at 40fps for the S21U. If it struggles with any game, it's on the game developer, as the S21U maintains 89Fps on Evil Lands max settings with 96% stability, which blows PUBGM when it comes to graphics. But S21U is certainly not as competent for gaming as ROG Phone.
Why two different versions thou 4 the same phone?? Why does the US & a few other countries get the better sdragon version & the rest get the lesser better version??🙄 Such a rip off for many customers out there who don't know that. Why can't samsung just have snapdragon for all countries?? I hate it that i'm spending thousands more on the S21 ultra which is the second better version & not the best. Samsung really ripped off it's customers out of the us by giving them the inferior version👎 The exynos version heats up more & the camera picture quality is not as good as the snapdragon one. Not good Samsung. Customers like me deserve better🤬
That's right Saf. Thank u for that point. Samsung is inconsistent & it's unfair that some customers get a better version of the same phone & others don't .I don't care if the difference is on a very small margin, customers still deserve better. Customers are the reason why these phone/ tech companies even exist & these customers like me deserve fair & consistent products.
GPU of the Qualqomm is over 25% better for gamers. FPS tells you the reality. Exynos this year performs better than Qualqomm in CPU performance just by a small edge. Future looks bright for Exynos next flagship Samsung which I believe will have the best GPU, AMD.

I wanted to buy but In Switzerland have just Exynos, and comparing the videos and photos is not the same.... Then I don't go buy anymore .
Will there be a full comparison or this is it?
I read this comment somewhere : eSIM and dual SIM is not supported on any of the US versions of the S21.
Is this true ?
I am based in Dubai where the cost of S21 Ultra 256 GB (Exenos) is 1037 USD. It supports dual SIM. I was planning to get the Snapdragon version from the US through a friend who is travelling (yes..warranty won't be covered in UAE. I am ok with that). The US Snapdragon version on Amazon costs 1216 USD. Apart from the higher price and me losing the warranty , is it also a single SIM phone?
Has anyone noticed phone overheating while using camera app while taking photos and recording videos. I have snapdragon S21 ultra
Does anyone know why they don't use exynos in the US? Is it because of legal restrictions? Or just inventory or supply chain issues
watching s21ultra ad in s21 ultra😅😅😅
3D mark had clearly shown that exynos 2100 is slightly better than snapdragon 888. Geekbench 5 has shown that exynos 2100 kicks snapdragon 888's ass!
The exynos does have a better cpu than the snap dragon, but the main problem is the exnynos gpu which where hoping AMD can fix that problem
@@5stxr.kixn1 3D mark clearly shows GPU exynos is also better
One have to wonder why samsung team wouldn`t pay special attentiont to exynos version (which they own) rather than sd888. Optimize your product more than the competition for pete`s sake
Mrwhosetheclown must be crying hard seeing others praising Exynos and Exynos itself being fine. That Chinese puppet is such a Samsung hater that he posted a video why not to buy that phone when Samsung was launching the phone very day without even touching the phone. Dude got so much flag that he deleted the video later and praised the same phone. Smh
Only his review was negative.
Camera Sensors are different too. Sony vs Samsung
How is winer?
what about overheating in video recording mode (and video calls) that requires the camera app to close after 15-20 mins, this only affectes Exynos and not Snapdragon..also image processing and results on Exynos is visibly worse.
This time exynos beat snapdragon
no. exynos overheat
I'm living in India , I used many of Samsung exynos devices and also used oppo , vivo , mi . But I noticed exynos 850 on samsung is far much better then snapdragon 720 g on redmi note 9 pro , samsung never lags, but redmi has frequent frame drops.
I am using s21u xynoz2100. My phone is getting heated very vary badly while doing video calls and attending zoom meetings
Its because CPU intensive tasks the 2100 throttles and looses performance. These "big" youtubers skipped those tests to favor samsung it seems. They focused on gaming because in that the 2100 is very close.
U can use it to warm your hands when they are cold 😉😂
yeah,no one talking about this issue...iwant the better quality of s21 camera, but no one talking how to fix it
A challenge for u guys take pubg and put the graphics down to smooth and to frame rate to the max and change the controls to 3 or 4 finger get into rank crown or plus then play for 1 hour then see the reality...no benchmark test can do more than this if you can select server asia because in asia i phone is best 2nd snapdragon then maybe exynos because I never used any media tech chips.
Nigeria to the world.. great job
Exynos over here, it is what it is. 🤷♂️
It's there any difference in the 256gb-12gb and 512gb- 16gb Ram?
More storage
No real difference in performance
More storage and more memory, if that's something you care about is up to you though, both should be nothing short of sufficient for most users.
Camera's ?
There is sounds while they Speak up!!
I don't want this!!!
I want Snapdragon all along!!!
I would skip Samsung for exynos only!!!
At least exynos should be cheaper!!!
there are 2 reasons I will not get a galaxy s21 first it is not a note, secound there is no expandable memmory. as a power user the xpria 1 III seems a better pick as it has expandable memory etc
No one will Buy this For Heavy Gaming.. This Year's Ultra is Fully Worthy.
Haha. I pick s20 ultra snapdragon 4 cheap and man i had become the king of heavy usage.😄😆👏✌Easy 1.5 days or super stretched 2 days.
I was wondering what's the default messaging app on the explosion. Is it Google messages with one ui skin?
Hey Saf,
You guys spoke a lot about comparisons and tests performed.
But do you know the biggest flaw in s21 ultra?
It's recording videos!!!
The phone gets so HOT, it ends up stating phone to hot and closes the camera app. And this happens in just 15 to 20 minutes
Please do a review about this.
Help the consumers understand what they are getting into.
Stupid on behalf of Samsung, they should have released the S21 Ultra in all regions with one chip-set and one chip-set only! The fact that they give some regions the Exynos and other regions the Snapdragon is an unfair advantage or disadvantage to users, the different chip-sets turns the camera on each phone into a totally different experience, and lets face it they brag about being the most powerful camera and better than many other devices on the market today yet the difference between the two chips make each phone incomparable to one another, This year we are boycotting Samsung along with many other Australians and going back to Apple, after many reports of users not being happy feeling like they have been robed over this issue along with further reports of over heating and the phone slowing down substantially, lagging and freezing after a months worth of use.
exynos getting slower and slower over Time you can't judge the performance after a couple weeks you need long term analysis
What i noticed first was that bra headphones
Airpods Max 😂🤦♂️
Why the hell does Samsung release an Exynos version when they KNOW its highly INFERIOR to the Snapdragon.i don't understand! Also why do they in the first place release a Snapdragon version? Why not just release an only Snapdragon or just an Exynos version. Why do 2 countries have different chips? What is the point?
Imagine Sony releasing a PlayStation 5 and one country has a superior chipset and another country has an inferior one. Makes no sense to me
The different chips are easily explained: too much demand compared to what can be supplied.
You can either have a phone with different hardware or no phone at all...
@@MLWJ1993 Or in that case you can just buy another phone that contains the superior chip
@@MrBOXA01 You could, but would that be the same as the Samsung device? I doubt it. In the end I actually couldn't care less, I don't use my phone for more than day to day tasks so I got a Samsung A50 for that fantastic display Samsung consistently sells way down the product stack... Can't complain about anything for €200,- 😆
I wonder if this man knows who's mrwhoosetheboss
Note 20 ultra or s21 ultra helpppp
Exynos 2100 good for gaming
Nice broadcast
why doesn't Samsung use just one chipset?
Because of patent
money
Nice video
@@joellindgren7855 yes enhanced processing was on
@@ismailakram turn it off
Bro you spent 1200+USD for playing PUBGM?!
You don't want this one but I need it so send me I am interested in buying this type of phone but I don't have enough money to buy it.
Exynos chip sucks for gaming. End of story.
P.S I have an exynos version.
All the vs videos i see snapdragon still better. Better photos too
That's right Saf.
Hey guys can someone answer this plz if i import one from the us, what features wont i be able to use since it's not a uk version?
You can but you'll pay duty on it so it will cost a few hundred pounds more
This is cool, can this mean some help for my preferred brand - Huawei?
No huawei is dead
GPU of the Qualqomm is over 25% better for gamers. FPS tells you the reality. Exynos this year performs better than Qualqomm in CPU performance just by a small edge. Future looks bright for Exynos next flagship Samsung which I believe will have the best GPU, AMD.
I really want the snapdragon version of the s21. How do I get that in the UK?
Ebay is the quickest way
Amazon
