its not that the iphone 12 did bad, it was consistent at 60 fps, while the samsung was not peaking 60fps, but it was very fluctuate, and the reason it didnt get warm was cause of all the frame drops. i dont even know how you werent aware of that. the iphone did a beautiful job, staying strong but yes, it got warm. winner is the iphone imo
i think iphone
It didn’t surprise me, androids will always stay laggy.

The Exynos is really behind the Snapdragon 😒
They are actually very similar this year surprisingly!

This is the real s21 Ultra performance, this guy does real test with real FPS counters - ruclips.net/video/BLktKSWUuI0/видео.html
The s21 U got 42 FPS
And the iPhone got 58 FPS
I wish apple would go with the hole punch and get rid of the notch.
Also guys, why didn't you enable the same exact settings below graphics and fps on both ? 🤷♂️ either way now cod mobile is enjoyable on both phones but i think more so on the Galaxy 😉
But with the S21 you're stuck using Android with Google tracking your every move. Ugh

So much for most powerful Soc. What's the point if one of the main reasons to care about performance just leads to you throttling and dining the screen while "slower soc' rockers past you? I do wonder if genshin is just not optimized for iPhone at all.
Something the size of a new phone (notch)doesn't fade away stop with the excuse

Is it worth it ?

About call of duty with the very high and max stuff on the samsung i think it's a little problem , the phone actually can game at very high graphics and max framerates . I know that because i have a note 9 and it can't do very high and max graphics but that's understandable for a phone that old . If my note 9 can play very high graphics and very high framerates , the s 21 can put it all the way to max
I have both and iPhone feels thicker even with a case off. Ultra easier to hold
If the performance of SD's Adreno is like this, Iam guessing what would the AMDs Gpu be like! Can't wait!!! For the monster!

I used to play on an iPhone XS Max 512GB , IT absolutely sucked compared to my new S21 ultra 5G + I switched to.
The biggest problem is with iPhone
Is if you play for a long period of time the IPhone will over heat and FPS will drop to 5-15 and the display will constantly dem. It’s very annoying.
And if would over heat after about 30-60 minutes of game play. I’m playing 60-400 minutes at time , I had a cooling fan just to keep it cool enough to play, the Samsung never gets that hot and it charges , very. Very, fast
Iphone always wins check geekbench its has 1600 cpu score vs 1100 s21 lol
Thicker is better, better battery , better camera, better everything
Look at me , i try some Things on my S21Ultra with 512GB 16GbRam

Currently have a Note 20 Ultra and iPhone 12 Pro as well. I play games on both.
The thing that pisses me off the most about the iPhone is the dumb notch. I frequently have to flip the phone the other way because the notch would cover the menu in games I play.
The extra RAM compared to the iPhone 11 definitely helps. It crashes a lot less than the iPhone 11 when gaming.
I overall have a better experience gaming on the Note 20 Ultra than the iPhone 12 Pro. I ordered the S21 Ultra. Can't wait to game on it once I get it.
When it comes to gaming feel the 12 pro is much better due to the a14. I’m ranked 6th in cod mobile USA and most pro players will never use android /Samsung due to the unsmoothness of it. Same goes for every supercell game, and Genshin impact is a wild card

I've been gaming on the OnePlus 7t pro. I use a super slim rubber case for it. It's absolutely amazing! The 90hz display and powerful hardware are nice. On CoD mobile it's had absolutely no hiccups. I'm absolutely destroying on it! I thought about switching to the iphone 12, so a buddy who bought one let me play with his, including gaming. While I found the iphone 12 pro pretty amazing, I couldn't justify leaving my phone for it. Gaming wise, the 7t pro is amazing, absolutely no bezel, and it doesn't even have a hole punch camera since the front face camera pops up out of the top. If any phone is top tier for gaming, it's the OnePlus 7t pro. From what I hear the OnePlus 9 is also amazing with it's 120hz display, but they went with a hole punch camera. Asus also released a new Rog phone, built top specs for gaming, still has the 90hz refresh screen, but 1ms response time, and a special snapdragon 845 qualcomm processor running at 2.96ghz on 8 cores cooled with some kind of vapor chamber system, LPDDRX4 RAM, and many more performance enhancing parts for maximum capabilities. It is a beast, and with the vapor cooling system, it allows the phone to run at peak performance without throttling.
It was one of my dream phone too but the battery back up is shit
2 min silence for those claiming 2 generation of leap in performance. I am really excited for amd version of Exynos also. Although Snapdragon 888 is already a beast.

It might have motion that lead to that! We can't justify just watching through vids... But taking what the reviewer says!

I don't think you have to change. Honestly if you like the iPhone signature features, sticking might be the best.
I really wanna see a camparison between iPhone 12 pro max against Huawei Mate 50Pro once it comes out!
I don't know why but today I tried asphalt 9 on my new S21U and there were occassional frame drops that I noticed thought it was kinda strange to notice frame drops on such powerful device but I think since game only supports 60fps & I was playing on adaptive display so maybe old games are not yet optimized for S21U since it's a new device.
Yea probably
Thats the problem. More power means more heat. So it's probably throttling.
At this point it is just preference over iOS or Android
True, I have both, they have their pros and cons.
I agree I stopped watching about half way once I realized that they basically run this game equally and it's just about preference
he said it was getting a little hot... that's not overheating... so I am calling it a draw... the samsung had a little glitch in the beginning which I'm sure was just due to it loading in... @@charleswhite8523 true, i can never game on my phone. Its not as fulfilling as gaming on my pc.

If you will carefully watch the video you can see that there were lags and frame drops on s21 plus the settings on genshin just on high not highest that we could see on pro max. Either way, both phones are definitely great.
Yeah!! I've also noticed it. In the unbiased camera comparison. In a photo he saw that the snow is white and in other the snow is yellow. S21 Ultra clearly ran Genshin at around 45-50 FPS, throughout, whereas, iPhone had it at locked 60. But I understand the reality: RUclipsrs need to earn more subs, views and likes to grow. And you get that by praising Android, as Android users are greater in number, worldwide. Giving iPhone its due credit would take away that share of views and likes. So be it! Good job!
The performance will improve in genshin for the s21 ultra because GI isn't optimised yet for exynos 2100 or sdm888. GI Devs are always slow at optimization. Instead CODM was a more fair test as it just recently had an update. The s21's performance should improve in GI in a month or so. And yeah he does seem a little biased🙂

Samsung Power
Except for iPhone’s 60 hz the iPhone absolutely destroys. Fortunately most mobile games run at 60 fps settings so the graphics don’t look worse on a 60 fps screen since you can’t take advantage of 120 hz. I do notice, however, that the touch responsiveness is a LITTLE bit better on 120 hz so I would prefer iPhone 13 Pro or 14 Pro that have ProMotion.
I have to say I disagree with your conclusion. The iPhone is a significantly more powerful device than the Galaxy - that iPhone model is actually on par with the Galaxy S23 at this point - and it showed, especially in the smoothness of Genshin. It was completely smooth on the iPhone and while it wasn’t stuttering on the Galaxy, it didn’t seem as smooth. In fact, it actually looked like the iPhone had a 120 hz display and the Galaxy had a 60 hz display even though it actually was the opposite. But yea the screen dimming was a problem on the 12 PM.
