Hi Sara! Thanks! This was a super fun and creative makeup to do. The foundation brush is one a company gave me so it’s not one to buy unfortunately. I think if you look for a wide bristled foundation brush not a flat bristled that would be like the one I used. Hope that’s helpful!

I meant to thank you also for the fact that you use products that are easily accessible around the world, rather than just products you can get in the USA. Merit looks like a good brand for us. This is the only brand used that isn't easy to get, I think. Are there any alternatives which work just as well? I'm wondering especially about that great Merit brush. Blessings and love. ❤️
Question! Why use both an eyeshadow base and concealer on her lids? Do you find that not setting it is better for mature skin? Thank you!
Excellent question! Usually, I start with concealer on the lids to cover discoloration. Then, if it looks like her lids are oily and makeup will crease, I either add a little powder or eye shadow base. In this case, she didn't have any dryness or crepey skin so she could handle having both concealer and eye base and it not look heavy.
Beautiful make up on a stunning woman. Just wondering if her eyebrows could have been made a bit fuller? They still look too sparse to me.
Hi Susan, yes they could’ve been made fuller, but I chose not to. In part because even though on camera they would look fuller, in person they would’ve looked unnatural. Janice is a very natural gal so I didn’t want her to feel like she didn’t look like herself. This is an issue I come up against in my freelance work as well, where a client might look more current with, say, a fuller brow, but would balk at my doing it because it didn’t look natural.
