WELL Thomas, you became WELL on my birthday. And you will be remembered as the most talented linebacker in NFL history even if it was for a short time. I always felt Landry should have seen through the fog and sent you out to rehabilitation. He knew that later on as your presence on the team would have made a difference in those 1980 championship games. Happy that you clean.
To those that never saw him play, this man was a GREAT, GREAT football player-the potential to be one of the best. He was blazing fast and very aggressive. He is one of the very few or maybe the only defensive player to stop Earl Campbell in his tracks after a running start by both of them. Check out the hit on RUclips. He threw it all away. But the story didn't end there. The Lord smiled on him in his later life and he has been very generous to his home community. Bless you, Thomas.
That was petty making players shave. Why couldn't they were allowed to wear beards that are neatly trimmed? That no beard policy was just petty.... Jeez, can't trust anyone when you have a little money - SMH
