I grew up around the Grand Concourse/Tremont Area. It still looks the same as it did back in the 90's and early 2000's. People that say that it looks worse today, clearly didn't grow up in The Bronx back in the 80s and 70s. There's areas where it has changed, but a lot of it still remains the same. I thank God that I had the opportunity to leave and make a better life somewhere else.

If they know you just out there to protect the community while enjoying yourself they don't be trying to mess with you. I be so active with my gallon I seriously be forgetting that gallons of liquor in public still ain't legal 😂 they only decriminalized it so you won't go to jail unless you belligerent and get a drunk and disorderly. But for facts tho, you can do just about anything almost in full view of the police and it's like they blind until you either reach like you clutchin, or somebody calls and say you clutchin. Risking his life minding other people business for nothing. Didn't record nothing crazy or out the ordinary. Nobody is going to jail for weed anymore 😂😂😂 you don't even document the actual crimes. Just people trying to make a dollar and dope fiends tweaking. You're not bringing awareness to nothing, or fixing any issues. You literally just walking around recording people, why not walk through the projects and record? Go through some trenches and stop low riding, capitalizing off people and places you know nothing about. It's dope fiends everywhere. You try to paint this narrative that the Bronx is the only place with them.

Grew up on Creston and Burnside Avenue, back in the 70"s and 80"s. When we first moved to Creston the area was predominantly Jewish and Irish!! When Puerto Ricans and African Americans started to move into the area, White flight started. My opinion, it was much better when the Jewish and Irish dominated. They don't crap in their own neighborhood like every other minority does. I come up once a year to visit family in Orange and Westchester County ( All my family has left The Bronx ), but still go to the Bronx for a pizza. But it has changed a lot. In someone ways it's looks better, but it's much worst. So sad.

The place Looks so filthy only thing in good condition are the cars ; I grew up there in the 80s.ans 90s. Look like it's all Dominicans and Africans now. This is what Eric Adams wants the whole city to look like.

I agree it looks disgusting, where I live in Queens, it's known to be an asian community, but there's still some diversity, it's not perfect, but it looks better than this
