    183rd was crazy during the 80s but what’s going on now is insane Noticed the Paradise Theatre it should be landmark… what a disappointment to let it get to ruins… The Dollar Bank is another one.. beautiful Art work inside now it’s a supermarket… Look at all that garbage… It’s a miracle no one has broken into Poes Cottage and claim it! Downright Diversity..

    So much better than the dead and abandoned streets of most American towns and cities. Here there I LIFE -stores, restaurants, groceries, markets, full playgrounds, active basket ball courts, and people socializing, walking, playing, shopping.

    RIP , NYPD OFFICER KEVIN GILLESPIE. He was killed in the line of duty at 183rd and Grand Concourse. Never forgotten !!!!

    Back in the 1940s the Grand concourse was for Rich and famous people in 1980s it Start go down Hill its like that all over the United States 😢

      I used to feed poor people at sub way station in 1989,with pizza 🍕 at 12 pm, was much worse.

      @@gasparcunha I worked the token booth after 1999. This station and the Jerome Ave 4 train station were dangerous. But with the grace of God , we all survived. TY Lord !!!!

      You mean some parts. Check out Pelham Parkway, Throngs Neck,Riverdale and City Island and the New waterfront in the South Bx with rents over 3000 per month easy and guess who resides there???
