Yeah historical documentation… You know, me running around in my town with a camera doesn’t make me an hero… It’s the simplest thing one could ever be doing in the first place… 1000% Effortless content… I get what you mean, but at the same time, it’s not true because everyone is filming any and everything these days.
Lived there 60 years ago. Buildings the same but the people much different. The RKO and Loews Theatre and Alexander’s Dept store were the most prominent
Thank you very much for making and uploading your videos. It's great. Not only do you go to the wealthy places in New York, but also places where I'd probably live. I'm not rich so I'd probably live in the Bronx, if I lived there. Less I win the Lottery or something. But nevermind about me, it's you whom I'm commending. Great Job, You keep bringing them, I'll watch 'em.
Thank you so much for this wonderful walk tour ! It brought back wonderful memories of when I would go to Fordham. At The location of P.C Richards there used to be Alexanders Department Store What memories! ! ! Thank you again ! !
Thank you for these videos. I live in Midland, TX now but i'm from the bronx. It feels nice to visit without visiting my old stomping grounds. Thanks. Please keep it coming. It reminds me of the good and bad of the streets, no judgement just appreciation.
Thank you for taking back my memories back to younger years before I joined the military. I now live in Las Vegas, Nevada but, I still miss the bronx very much. I used to go to Saint James Park and the movies at Lowes Paradise theater growing up. Thanks again 😊
What an excellent video that captured the Fordham area inclusive of the Concourse, St. James Park, Creston Avenue, Webster Avenue and Fordham Plaza. The place has changed dramatically since I remember as a child. The old Sears Roebuck Store used to be in the building where the Best Buy is currently housed. The McDonald's locations on West and East Fordham Road still remain. The Burlington Coat Factory, PC Richards and Marshall's at the corner of the Grand Concourse and Fordham Road used to be the flagship Alexander's department store! There is still a military recruiting center kiosk on Fordham too as I remember. I am pleased to see the vibrancy still remains with the plentiful availability of retail and street vendor shopping options. It was enjoyable to see current residents and visitors enjoying a summer evening out in St James Park playing soccer, basketball and enjoying an outdoor BarBQ. The food festival held at the Fordham Plaza looked good too! Thank you for posting!
Le Bronx c’est très vivant et les gens pour la plupart font des petits signes. Je voyage avec vous c’est très agréable et j’oublie les soucis pendant ce moment. Merci Julien et happy new year 2024
OMG My mom would take us to Fordham Road every year before school started to buy clothes! Sooooooo much nostalgia for this walk! I live in Florida now, but I just became a Software Engineer at Amazon, and depending on where they send me after training, I might be coming back!
Hi is a software engineer the same as programming ? My son is interested in working for an American company he says the salaries and opportunities are so much better in us and Canada .. ?
I worked on 188th st and Grand Concourse for years in the early 2000s and this was basically my walk to work from the Jerome Ave 4 train station. Thanks for bringing back the memories! Always thought Fordham rd was one of the liveliest parts of NYC
Thank you for taking back my memories back to younger years before I joined the military. I now live in Las Vegas, Nevada but, I still miss the bronx very much. I used to go to Saint James Park and the movies at Loewes Paradise theater growing up. Thanks again 😊
Omg after being in the south for a week, I literally realized after 37 yrs that there’s no place like NY. I missed NY so badly especially uptown BX. I can finally say proudly that I’m from the boogie and I love it. Ain’t no place like NY. New sub💕
Where the PC Richards and Burlington are on Grand Concourse, used to be Alexanders way back in the day. I remember out front on the sidewalk were Armed Forces Recruiting Stations. They appear to be gone now. I remember there was an amazing Cuchifrito in that area. I wonder if it’s still there? So much has changed. I haven’t been back to NY since 2012
What amazes me there are no bar/cafeterias to have a coffee or a snack whike sitting out on the sidewalk... We live in Spain and there is a bar/cafegeria every 100 meters
People in the Bronx are very attentive to your camera Julien, you found a new friends on Creston Ave 😅 they're cute. Although it's not a good idea filming kids without their parents around, you're right. Very colorful and atmosphere neighborhood, nice to walk summer afternoon. Merci beacoup mon cher, bon weekend! 🗽✨😉
Thank you very mutch for this Fantastic and very Interesting video Mister Julien 👏👏👍👍! Thank you so mutch for going to the Bronx ! I Love the Bronx ! Magnificent Julien in NYC 👏👍!
Coming back to the USA from Perth Western Australia and going to New York for the first time and looking forward to going to the Bronx particularly Cedar Playground and walking some of Fordham Rd and Arthur Ave. Anything else you’d recommend in the Bronx to visit while there. Obviously visiting Yankee Stadium Awesome video thanks heaps

I miss New York so much! I’m still thinking if I should move out there one day but I hear it super expensive. I’m from Florida and I am so ready for change! Whoever lives out there what’s it like?
I actually walked from the bronx to mt vernon when i was a teenager it took me forever. I think about 3 hours 😅. Well it been proably 20 years since ive visited the BX. I went to Manhattan and even all the way to spring valley but sadly i didnt visit bx. Maybe all the rumors of the violence and crime made want to skip it. Thanks for the video i enjoyed it!

These videos are both entertaining and important as they are historical documentation.
yep. is a documentary about the end days of a once great civilization.

Two slices and a soda for $3.99 is a great deal! The footage of the park documents how important parks are in these spaces. Thanks!
yeah ngl it was 2 and a soda for 2.99 literally last year at the same spot
Florida is even more expensive. One slice and one soda for 5.99….not even worth it
@@Amaddiegrace wth... nah it better be good af if I'm paying that much
@@Amaddiegrace And the pizza in FL is substandard
Not really... $1.50 a slice, so they charge the customer 99 cents for a can of soda. It's not a great deal if you know math.
Man, I haven't been to the Bronx in years! Even the water running down the curb is such nostalgia!!
let alone all crime there, yeah im sure u are eager to get back

Is it just me or isn't there any place for social interaction like little bars or free spots to hangout ? Only shops all the way through...
Wow nice tour
I also make a video on Fordham road

My neighborhood before I moved to Queens... Had to get out of there it was too crazy.

True lol 😂
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hank you aol
what type of cameras do you use for this good quality?
I use my Iphone 13 Pro + DJI Osmo Mobile 6 Gimbal

The Bronx is a pretty chill area apart from a few bad areas
I saw families, heard upbeat, positive music, lots of great shopping and fresh fruits. The Bronx definitely has ‘we outside’ positive vibes ❤
