Back in the day those symptoms happened to be either the finals or the switching transistor or both specially if it turned on lit up.
@@user-ef3nu1eh7z Yep, it would turn on but I don't recall if it even had static it's been so long ago. Always thought it was finals but again, at that time there was no one willing to work on it.. 😞✌✌
@@udx-483muddbucket5 you probably didn't hang on to it though I know one of the best tech shops that takes repairs by mail ups etc operates out of truck stop in capitol of wis been in repair since 1975 or just hitting 50 years!!!! Plus in military communications has every ham lic known and couple not known!!! Respectably priced but not cheap

No worries it has no output power and can't receive squat and that is considered working order of the president BIDEN radio( plus never on the right channel)

Did you add the free band frequencies in that Adams? That radio came only with the 40 channel EU,CA & US bands 27.965 to 27.405. South Carolina is a bad place to live especially Myrtle Beach as many illegals there.
