@@JassyPabst It's not for everyone, but I thought the lyrics in that era were sometimes really poetic. Open to interpretation, but to me this one is about facing the ills of society in contrast to home/his mother's love.

JJ's One Girl Band Which part surprised you? There is something about this song that makes it memorable and the first time I saw the video it was fucking brilliant the way the music and the imagery came to life.

JJ's One Girl Band I have TONS of songs that I love... but I don't ever request! I really love Skillet's song "Don't Wake Me" and Metallica's "King Nothing" because I was one of the few who actually liked the "Load" and "Reload" albums. I also really like "No Leaf Clover" and "The Unforgiven II" and these are just the albums a lot of people dislike, but I really believe that there are hidden gems within those albums. I also really liked Metallica's album "St. Anger" because it was their attempt at falling in line with more modern music to remain relevant and people just hated it... I on the other hand really loved it though. Not a lot of people like Nickelback (The older albums before they tried to rip off Metallica's look and sound) and Godsmack but I still do. _Are you still surprised?_ One of my favorite Nickelback songs is "Far Away" but this is just me I guess. Everybody wants heavier and faster guitar and as much as I love "Core" music, My standard will always be Nirvana, KoRn, Deftones, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Three Days Grace and Skillet for the stuff that I like to listen to and prefer to play on the guitar.
