    This comment is unrelated to your video, but just wanted to thank You for everything. Sylvie your a great inspiration to me and plenty of others im sure. I meet you briefly over a year ago at your gym in Pattaya . I had just come from Ubon at Lamnamoon Sor Sumalee and had crushed spirits from an injury i received. But i remember how willing you where to share clinch and bag advice. Also how proud your coach was of you showing me all the pictures of you on his wall because i was American. Im in Hua Hin now but hopefully ill see yo at your gym in a month or two Thanks again and Keep it up

    What you said about repetition being the only to get something is absolutely correct. And yes, too many people look for short cuts to getting techniques good these days. From what I see at least here in the UK it's these mma fighters that don't have the dicipline to drill 1 or 2 things over and over again. They just rush everything and become Jack of all trades lol. You good Sylvie

      James Jones real mma fighters have a background in some type of martial art before they get into mma

    The advice to teep a wall is golden. And applies to all other strikes too.

    Repetition. Often underrated. I think the saying is it takes 10,000 of doing something before you master it. The gist and message of that statement is true.

    Thank u for the video Sylvie-I was usually around the 400 knees and teeps on my conditioning days but 1000? Not only does this give me something to aspire to but u gave me valuable insight on how I should be thinking when I’m training-I’m definitely going to attempt this :)

      You can go not as hard but do more knees, and apply proper technique at all times. Stretch the foot when you strike with the knee.

      In the VIP Course section there is a "Sylvie" section, which should have all my technique vlogs in long form. This month's 4 vlogs though are probably not posted yet, as I just gave them to them. Let me know if you can't find that Sylvie section.

    Ι have question. When you teep and the opponent places elbows. How to avoid and make proper teep

    • @8limbsUs
      @8limbsUs  6 лет назад

      What do you mean "places elbow"?

    • @apostolossigkounas8848
      @apostolossigkounas8848 6 лет назад

      Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai they block with elbows.

    • @8limbsUs
      @8limbsUs  6 лет назад +10

      Any strike can be blocked or countered. If they lower the elbow to block, then next time fake the teep and head kick, or any number of other strikes that could take advantage of that.
