That is very cool! Would be interesting to see some paintings with those colors that lit up under the UV light.

@@Giel69 I’m a Patreon backer, so I get the videos early. You can too, if you wanna. :)
@@just_eirik oh, that makes sense. And I wish I could
I definitely wouldn't want to use these for all my art but it would be fun to have at least a couple glowing art projects to my collection! Happy Holidays Kasey 🎄
Gotta try Noodler's Blue Ghost invisible ink! It's marketed for calligraphy but it's super fun to have hidden elements in an illustration.
YES! YES! I used Noodlers Blue Ghost Ink for a couple of Inktober drawings! I drew the Bioraptor from Pitch Black in regular ink. Then went over it with the Noodlers! It came out amazing!
@@absyntheew7075 Cool! I did the March of Robots challenge with it a few years back!
Oooh the inappropriate things one could draw with these…
I have these, I had to have them the second I saw them. I've created pictures with secrets that only show with UV. Did the obvious: create two people, one angel one less so, then put poo in the background of a animal picture. There are so so many possibilities!
Secret pictures, I just love the idea.
Thanks, Kasey, for trying out things so I can figure out if I should buy them. Really liked the effect in your pieces.
This was very fun to watch I woukd love to try this
Nice
Next month I'm going to an event to paint in the dark, probably gonna draw ghost pokemon
Kasey I adore all your videos, I too have type 1 diabetes, had it since I was only 7 years old, your art inspires me a lot, and listening to you talk as you paint/draw/sketch your stuff is just soothing, hope you would see my comment, I love your content.
Would love to see you do a piece with all your art supplies that happen to glow! ❤
Definitely would like to see more of the black light stuff - I'm doing a similar thing with paintings and it never stops being cool to see these colours fluoresce when you chuck on the blacklight!
Happy New Year to you, Dave, Ham, Cheese and the rest of your loved ones. Here's to a fantastic 2024! 🎉🥂🍾
watch orphan and orphan first kill i just feel like there’s something in there that may give you some inspiration for these ^_^
Yep! Scary!
That 3rd one is giving ghost writers
these pens look so cool, I'd love to try them!! 😮 hope everyone has a fantastic new year ❤❤
Thanks for another year of fun videos, I've really enjoyed them all!
Regarding lightfastness of UV materials - if they're anything like fluorescent paint (and I assume they are), they'll probably be very fugitive sadly. I've started using neon acrylic paint in some pieces but they all have the lowest lightfastness rating - which makes sense if you consider that responding to UV light is what makes them look that way in the first place!
I know you can get certain UV-protective varnishes for pieces with fugitive colours, which might solve the issue, but I also haven't tested whether they negate the neon / glow in the dark effect too, since I don't know exactly how they block the UV light... Just something to think about, perhaps!
KASEY USING NEON COLORS?!
That was a missed opportunity to draw a platypus
Maybe the little light can be used to make a challenge: you can only see the uv ink RIGHT where you’re drawing and can’t see how the whole thing looks until you think you’re done, and then use the BIG BOIS to see how it came out
Noodlers Blue Ghost gies over alcohol markers best. If you try the ink then the markers they change color and the glow effect dulls.
That second guy is just yawning. I don't know what you're on about. ;)
You should totally watch the movie orphan it's a horror movie with an artist that plays with the uv light in the same way
I like how it us on the watercolor it makes it feel like its transparent and like how most people would color tears
SO COOL!!! I'll need to get some. I ONLY do pen and pencil art so this might benefit me more :D
:)
Girl crying is just like me fr fr
would loooove to see you play with black light art more!
Two videos in a row? We sure are luck today, happy new year everyone!❤
These are so cool!!!
9:10 what?

i have those pens! i found them at walmart and they’re super cool!
You should do a challenge when you paint only in black light so you don’t know the colours!
just bought these and have been trying to figure out what to use them for
6:00 girlie is so pretty. I love her ❤😢
More black light art!!!
Happy New Year!!!🎉
These are so good!!
This was fun!! 👍👍
Just know that uv-lights are damaging to your skin and eyes, the amount used in this video or say a tanning bed isn't bad when done once in a while, love the art as always!
