I just recently found your videos and I’m in love. I have been looking for some instruction and inspiration for using the fabrics and threads I collect and you have given me both. Thank you and I look forward to watching more of what you do, you are truly so artistic 😊
I watch you do this and your items turn out terrific, but I'm not sure how well my mind would work to be able to do this sort of thing. I tend to want things symmetrical and matching.
It’s mesmerizing to watch you create. I’ve gone shopping for like items you use and haven’t come across any items as interesting as yours BUT I keep my eye out for scraps of interest now. I love to watch and listen to your videos.
Such vibrant colors! I actually have some of that same batik. I used it for applique on some quilted projects. Your piece has an underwater quality to it with that green netting--kind of like sea weed.
Loving your project…I never know when to stop…I add buttons. Beads. Bottle rings chain broken jewelry bits cd bits. All I can adhere to the piece. Not sure what to call it but I fold them in half and make book covers of all sizes. It’s my favourite thing to do.
Hi, I loved this video, seeing it come to life. I am new to slow stitching. Purchased a kit recently but a bit scared to start. Years ago i did a crazy patchwork class with Judith Montano, say 25years!! And haven’t finished my project because of the embroidery stitching. Using just running stitch and simple couching it looks so easy. I am inspired to finish the old project using this method. I truly live your work. Many thanks from South Australia. X
I loved watching you play with all the scraps. I have so many scraps and don't know what to do with them. I like how you explained your thought process.💜⛟💜⛟💜
Yes! I have now discovered that. If you want some you would search under Floristry supplies maybe, or just buy more flowers! I think it is great stuff.
This was so much fun watching you do this. An inspiration to go and pull out all my scraps!❤❤
Have fun with it Maureen 😀
Love the colors in this project. Beautiful!

And that’s okay too. It is all personal preference, your own unique design that expresses what you like.🙏

You are so welcome! It is surprising what you can achieve with the simplest of stitches. So get back to it and finish that project your own way 😊

en Francais !?...❤❤❤
Hi gisele, are you seeing the subtitles in Francais?
Lovely. I learn so much from you and it is a joy to see your projects develop. Where do you up your beads? What size do you use?
Thank you, I hope it inspires you you to “love” your scraps 😀. I don’t remember using any beads on this one. I have been collecting beads for ages.
This is a lovely project so vibrant. What do you do with all your completed pieces, do you frame and sell them, or just keep them in a portfolio?
Christine I do try to get around to it. I have an Etsy shop just need to dedicate the time to it 😀
The blue thread looks like rayon, especially with the sheen.
