Hi friends, thanks for the continued support!
People often ask how they can help me with my work, but can't commit to a Patreon subscription. Watching and sharing my videos is more than enough of a contribution, however if you are someone who would like to help fund one of my 'free' clean up jobs without signing up to anything, I now have a 'Buy Me a Coffee' page. You can donate $5 or more if this is something which interests you :) www.buymeacoffee.com/bladematelL
    Kind regards
    Sean

I love that most of your commenters are good people, only saw one "that is lazy" comment. What people who don't live with chronic pain don't understand is that it is exhausting. Getting a good night's sleep doesn't happen, so you wake up tired every morning. And going through life with constant pain wears you out. Everything seems like a huge hurdle. Kudos to you, Sean, for all that you do and for your compassionate heart. I wish I had someone like you in my life. Instead, I have a jerk who keeps reporting me to the city. He mows his lawn and the church lawn TWICE a week unless there is snow on the ground, and wants to hold me to that standard. It isn't possible.

Good one Sean! That trash was a little over the top. You are so nice to pick that up for her and haul it out. Hopefully she has someone to help her put the big stuff to the curb. It really upsets me that in these times the family doesn't help or even the neighbors. There is so little compassion in the world today. Thank God they have you Sean. You are a blessing to those in need. God bless you and your family! Watching as always from Ohio, USA.

I'm old, I vowed to never let my wheelie bin go empty on collection day, so I whip out my disabled husband's reciprocating saw and if I see something that needs to go and it's too big to fit in the bin, I cut it up first. I also walk the yard periodically and if something looked unnecessary, dead, or worn out, I tossed it in the bin. Slow and steady gets it done even when you're in your 70s and you're not in the best of health. I'm lucky I don't have arthritis, so I have full use of my hands, and only have to contend with wrist pain from carpel tunnel issues and worn-out knees.

    • @Justaskme781
      @Justaskme781 Год назад

I hope by now you have had a carpal tunnel syndrome operation. I had it done on each one of my wrists and it changed my life. No more swelling no more pain. Each took about a week to heal was very little scarring which that part didn't matter to me. Good luck to you

I know what it is like to be unable to do the things you want. You give these folks more than a clean yard-----you give them hope. To look at something like that yard and know there is nothing you can do, is depressing and gives a feeling of defeat. You give them a fresh look on life and give them hope. God bless you and keep up the good work. You are a blessing.

Last council cleanup that we had, our son had to take time off work to help us move stuff and we only and little stuff. I like these makeovers and I can understand how it can get out of control. Often these big old yard become dumping grounds and too hard to manage.
I myself honestly had a fear of lawn mowers, hated the noise and I think it was from being hit by a stray rock as a kid. I’ve managed to move on over the last 2 years and now my own lawn and even buy my first ever mower. I don’t mind it now and especially that feeling of satisfaction when it’s mowed and nest. I don’t even have a large lawn but managed to hand weeds 2 foot high through parts for a few years, now there’s none, just pull them out as they pop up.
I appreciate all this work you do for those that need it, I know how much the recipient would really appreciate it.

Really enjoy tuning in to your videos and watching the hardest working whipper snipper in Australia transforming these back yards.

You both put in an amazing amount of hard labor to get that yard made over. Wonderful job. Just brilliant.

I love these great big Aussie backyards you do & the houses too, they are becoming less & less nowadays , demolished & subdivided. Seeing these old houses & yards is so comforting & makes me less anxious for some reason & wow amazing job done . Perfection each & everytime 💯❤👍🏻😍

The grass and overgrown brush I get but that yard was used as a dump. You did a wonderful job cleaning her trash pile and taking out the brush to the dump for her. Bless you.

What a difference, even when you were only a few strokes into the clearing with the rake. I look forward to seeing the end result!

The lady has got to be so happy to have a usable yard again and a weight off her mind to have all that rubbish and detritus gone; it will make it that much easier for her to have a go at maintaining it herself when she's able. Well done guys, a good job well done as usual.

Yeah. Will be interesting to see this yar in a months time. Not in a way to see if the Resident has kept it up, but to see what popped back up.
