Hi friends, thanks for the continued support!
People often ask how they can help me with my work, but can't commit to a Patreon subscription. Watching and sharing my videos is more than enough of a contribution, however if you are someone who would like to help fund one of my 'free' clean up jobs without signing up to anything, I now have a 'Buy Me a Coffee' page. You can donate $5 or more if this is something which interests you :) www.buymeacoffee.com/bladematelL
    Kind regards
    Sean

I wonder how the neighbors feel with the top of the hedges gone from their windows. My neighbor threw a fit when we removed an overgrown privet bush. I have planted a new apple tree a little further away from the house, but it'll be some time before it starts looking like a tree.

@@garylewis8346 Well, we rent. We had already talked to the landlord about it and got the okay from him. But she didn't come to us to say anything, she called him directly to whine about it. Unfortunately, I think our landlord hears more from her than he does us (and it was an on going trend before we moved in). She's just that kind of wonderful neighbor to have.
But in the video, with the shadows and solar panels, those windows face due east. I can imagine their mornings getting a little bit brighter.

In Australia, it is now quite straight forward, but in other countries, you might be successful by contacting the social worker at your treating hospital or local forms of govt, such as parish, county or council. Some religious organisations sometimes help on a once off basis, or by requiring you to attend their religious meetings.

When you cleared the bush from in front of the windows the song “Aquarius/Let the sunshine in” from The Fifth Dimension popped in my head 😂
Amazing transformation so far 👍🏻Looking forward to part II

Sean is the great white of Australian lawn care. I can hear the theme now as he approaches the lawn with the mower.

Sean, I am so very glad you can do this for seniors who badly need the help you provide. I am a senior also, and so far am lucky to be able to care for my property, (knock wood). There will come a day when it becomes much harder if not impossible to mow etc. Being on a limited income, I hope I will be able to afford regular lawn service to keep things from becoming a mission impossible. Thank you for being able to do the good you do. You do have some doozies to tackle. LOL

I just watched the video from the beginning. Awesome cutting, trimming, edging and mowing...business as usual! The collection of antique strollers was an unusual discovery. I am curious about the openings in the foundation with no wire frame. Do snakes and other creepy things gather under there?

Most houses have wire or spaced wooden boards for good ventilation but I like to leave a few gaps to allow cats to get under there and chase the mice away, less snakes if you can eliminate their food source 👍🍻

They would with the wire anyway, the wire is usually so bigger animals like stray dogs, cats, possums and of course kids can't get stuck under there, get bitten by the snakes etc

@@_bluephoenix_ I hope they repair the wire frames.

Loving the snake check when you pick up the things packed in the bushes.
Not something we worry about in the UK, always good to learn what others are up against.

You are a blessing to those who can’t take care of their yards anymore. It’s wonderful that you help seniors, I really don’t understand other channels that cut abandoned properties when there are so many elderly that could use the help. You truly make a difference in your community.
