Sean please just go back to this property all the time. It's content for years. I'd love to see the transformation of just keeping it maintained for a year.
With all the different levels and beds that have purposely constructed over the years that garden was obviously the gentleman's pride and joy. To be still living in the same house that he's lived in for 80yrs he can probably remember building each and every path and bed when he was in his 20's, 30's, 40's etc and it much be such a blessing for him to see his previous hard work emerging into the light even though now he's at a stage in life he physically can't maintain it himself. God bless you for helping this gentleman.
This scenario brings back a memory or two of my grandfather when he reached a point and slowly couldn't achieve what he always use to do. Luckily we lived few suburbs away and on fortnightly weekends my youngest brother and I were drafted to maintain the yard area. Slave labour under 16 but was paid well in minties oatmeal cookies dry ginger ales and family history lessons. Looking back it was at the time tedious to a child but was the best bonding time I had ever had with him
It makes me so happy 😊 that you decided to return to this property to check on this gentleman's yards. You put so much work, energy, and passion into giving this gentleman's yards back to him. I'm sure that he's excited to know that nature isn't retaking his yards . I can see him just walking around the yards remembering when he or relatives made each bed. Such fantastic memories to have. Sean, you truly are a blessing to so many people!
The fact you came back probably made a bigger impression on this old fellow. You commented on the grass returning but you were a breath of fresh air to the whole property. Some of the garden even had the cheek to flower in such a short time. All those treasured memories of a lifetime are being preserved. Thanks Sean.
As I've watched my neighbor of 94 years old go to her shed, on her walker & come out with her mower & getting the acre of grass & leaves taken care of B4 snow falls. Every other week it's a process for her. Refuses help. I did however, help her with her garden & prepare "for next season". She's remarkable. Blessings to you and your family Sean. 🙏💪🙏
This is beyond wonderful. After a harsh and necessary cut back, I was happy to see plants budding, flowers blooming and lawns greening up. What a great follow up. Thank you.
I should think it's pretty wonderful for the inhabitants, especially as it seems as though they (?) can still get outside to thoroughly enjoy it all, and remember all the hard work they put in, and all the joy out.
Hi Sean, I see there are folks ripping on this old guy for not doing more for his yard. It’s sad that many don’t understand what it’s like to have someone elderly in their family. The yard looks great & the grass is making a good come back. Well done - cheers!
Some ppl are just to judgemental. Sean does an amazing job! Thank You Jib for your service ❤ I am sure at one time the owner was able to maintain his own.

Shaun, I should have realised. You are not the guy who leaves someone stuck in the same place after pulling them out of difficulty. This property is truly coming back into the light now.
I come home, my back is killing me (I am retirement age) & see you’ve posted a video. Sit back and watch and just makes my day!!😊 Watched all 6 of the others previously & thoroughly enjoyed them. I suppose the critics will always be around but just wait till they get older and need help, just might change their tune… Thank you for all you do & the big heart you have for those in need.❤️ As always look forward to next video. Cheers!😊
This gent was obviously a keen gardener back in his day, he must be absolutely thrilled to see his yard coming back to life. Such an improvement already since your initial tidy. Nice one Sean!
I can see that the homeowner at one time loved working on his garden projects and loves plants. I do too and as I get older and can't work as hard outside as I would like, I am blessed to have someone come and straighten things out. Afterward, I get to walk around and just enjoy my gardens without having to suffer the regret or guilt for not getting things done. I know that we all could use a good dose of helping others and especially those who can't help themselves anymore. Keep up the good work and good videos. I really enjoy your channel.
Thank you for checking on this 80 yr old gentleman. I had wondered if anyone would give him any help. The man who was going to come and help. The comment you help people and then they just take advantage of you is probably that young or middle age but his gentleman sole was appreciative of what you did. Please keep up the work of giving blessings they come back two fold. But that's not what you want but in your ❤️. God Bless you and your family
@Donna, I know, right? I ~love~ gardening, but I'm finding it very hard to get around now, with arthritis and back issues. But I haven't given up! I just look silly on the ground while I pull weeds and plant bulbs. 😉 I bet the guy in video is over the moon, seeing his garden tidy and blooming!
Look at the older man chuck s. Does he look like he can do the work himself? No he can't, and I think its great that Sean is helping the old guy out with it. I always loved yard work, but now that I'm 61 yrs old and recovering from cancer, I had to hire someone to come every two weeks do it for me. I am lucky that money is not an issue for me like it is with a lot of elderly people. Show some love to your fellow man!
So true and I regularly mowed the lawns of the rental property for the old couple on my street that owned the rental property when she was caring for her terminally ill husband a couple of years ago and even cleaned up around their house. I WASN'T in it for the money even though she did pay me some cash. I it because I'm a good person that will help a neighbour if they need help.
I noticed the chair by the back door. He is getting out and sitting on his back stoop, enjoying his yard again. Thank you Sean! Before, sitting outside must have just induced anxiety and depression. Now it brings him joy again.
This is the type of yard ya just want to adopt. It was so damaged, ya just want to help it heal . Then help the scar’s to all disappear . And make it magnificent.
Thanks so much for coming back and helping this person. If you didn't do it nature would have taken the place again!!! I'm sad nobody in the whole Australia volunteer to help this person to get rid of the things that need to be thrown away and help with that broken fence. But at least there's one person helping to get that yard into control. You're awesome!!! .
I'd help the elderly gent but I live over 1100 kilometers from him and I'm on the same side of the country! Someone living on the West Coast of Australia is approximately 4000 kilometers from him. Just how small do you think "the whole of Australia" is? We have a population of under 24 million people spread out over 7.692 square kilometers compared to the USA with a contiguous land area of 7.663 square kilometers. Yes we're an island but a HUGE island with a mostly sparse population except for our State Capitals.
@@A_nony_mous I think something got lost on translation...but ok...meant obviously whoever lives around there ... Coloquial in Spanish maybe too much on translation for our Antipodes. 😉
@@susanagomez955 Thank you for your response. I get very defensive when people make comments suggesting my country's inhabitants are uncaring. I apologize if I misunderstood you. I do totally agree his neighbors could do more to help him.
@@A_nony_mous no problem at all, you know we are countries (Both Spain and Australia) where we can be ...too coloquial?? 🤣🤣🤣 and I have to remember that when I translate whatever it can become not that good in English. No worries at all ...I can totally understand your feelings and I'm sure you would be helping in this situation if you were closer. At the end the only important thing is to get people on positive actions of kindness because we can all do a little bit and make this World much better. And now must go back to work as my coffee time ended 😉
Judging by all the different plants and flowers on the property. I looks like the homeowner at one time really enjoyed gardening. It’s really kind of you Sean to bring it back to life for him. Blessings ✨
This puts a spotlight on this person’s need for your help. Clearly no one would let such a beautiful yard get so overgrown unless they couldn’t help it. Another job well done. Johanna Maine USA
I had no idea nasturtiums we’re so invasive in Australia! We actually plant them in our vegetable gardens in the US as a companion plant. The flowers are yummy in salad too!
In southern Australia where I live, Nasturtiums are not invasive.....a much colder environment than in the Hunter Valley in Northern Australia. Happy gardening.
Old Mate must have been glad to see his Blade Mate come and visit. It was lovely to see his garden again and see its regrowth. Great video and a job well done once again Sean. Thanks.
That yard is looking beautiful! Much faster the second time around, Sean! You'll have to revisit this place several times so we can all see how it fills in. Great work, man!
They must have spent hours and hours tending that lawn at some point. So much landscaping and variety of plant life. So nice you can help them enjoy what they worked so hard to put in place.
Sean. You are an absolute joy in life thank you for being YOU. MAY GOD BLESS YOU YOUNG MAN 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. And all those ugly vines are still gone !!! How come you don’t have a riding lawnmower?? It’s green too no brown dirt ❤. Beautiful job❤❤❤
I can't believe how green that yard has gotten! Has the older man that lives there been coming out to use it? I hope so, it's amazing how different it is! Please don't let some of these people on here get to you. You ARE AWESOME!! I only wish we could hit like more than once!
Towards the 25 minute mark (guessing here) Sean moves a hose off a walkway, and there is a large damp area there. Someone moved the hose since Sean was there last, so I’m hoping the gentleman came out to water some plants, or hose something off, and admire his yard. 😉
This is so sweet. You can tell that this yard was well loved and taken care of for a long time until he couldn’t any longer. I’m sure he’s so happy to see it looking beautiful again.
I can only imagine how beautiful the landscaping would've looked back in this yards heyday. It must have been a real beauty. You can tell that many flowers, bulbs, bushes, shrubs and perennials were lovingly planted many years ago with thought and planning. Poor fella just can no longer manage it anymore. I know he is very thankful for your help! Thanks for the update and may God continue to bless you and allow you to keep doing these types of jobs.
Sean, I recall you saying that some friend of this man was going to help him maintain the yard. This doesn't appear to be the case. It's good of you to clean the yard again, the first time around was a truly stupendous effort. I hope you might convince the owner to finally get rid of all the rubbish in the yard, carport and sheds. It would really help make the place look better.
I don’t know about in Australia, but in the US there are tons of junk haul places, some one-shop one-truck operations, all the way to regional and national franchises. The one we used took nearly an entire apartment’s worth of furniture for about $200 over two trips (it would have been one trip but we kept a few things the first time around that we ended up getting rid of anyway soon after). They took two dressers, two nightstands, three desks, a queen mattress and box-spring, a small dining table and three chairs, two computer chairs, an entertainment center, four large bookcases, and a lot of random small items. I wish more people here used such services. Too many just dump their giant crap by the sidewalk thinking the trash collectors will take it, but an entire couch doesn’t fit in the compactor opening of a garbage truck. Then it just sits on the sidewalk for months at a time before finally being dealt with by the city which gives the property owner a hefty fine.
Oh wow you went back to this property!! That job has to be one of my favorites and to be able to see how it's come after such a long time is fantastic. I can't believe how beautiful everything looks and the grass is coming up so nicely. I had to share the videos on this property cause it's my favorite transformation. 😊😊
I actually like his pace. Not one of those who release a new video twice a day. He leaves you wanting more. Plus his videos aren't excessively long which also puts me off watching.
I don't remember that chair being outside in the backyard when you were there before. Off hand I'd say that gentleman has come out side to enjoy the view. That is such a significant change in his life I'm sure. You truly are the angel on earth! 💯💯👏👏😄😄😄😄😄
It must have been a lovely home at one time. You can see someone was a gardener. We all get older. What a blessing you've been to restore that for him.
It is so gratifying to see this follow up. Gardens are starting to reappear and it is obvious that you were able to accomplish new things. Your spirit is in the right place for this man's situation.
I’m thinking this man is very pleased he can look out on his yard with pride of place. Thank you Mr. B.Mate for doing all this work on his behalf. It’s a very important job and for the second time he has the best looking yard in the neighborhood!! ❤️
I bet you have given this man a new lease on life, he did not become old overnight, it will happen to us all, do unto others as you would like been done to you, thank you Sean, love what you do.
I smiled the whole time I watched this, a reclaiming of a lost yard. Thank you for the sweat and hard work to unwrap this and bring it somewhat back to its former life. 😁👍
This by far was the worst overgrown yard I've seen in any video! Thank you for caring and helping this man! I'm glad to see his yard has gotten greener since the last video. I was wondering about your mower in the last video. Wondering if you ever thought of getting one of those Toro mowers? Anyway, thanks for helping all the people that you do. You're generosity and kindness is an inspiration to everyone. Keep up the good work. ❤🙏
Oh wow! Well I think we can all agree that getting this yard cleanup this time is way easier this time around. And the Toro makes an appearance after getting repaired! I hope the little Red Bull does well. 😊
It's always nice to see a revisit to a yard you've previously cleaned up. Nice to see green grass and flowers. Just wish we had a fund to help the fella hire someone to paint his house.
Saw the video of your 'new' mower. It's wonderful that you're rescuing people and mowers....I really like to see things being recycled and not just thrown out. As for you helping this gentleman, I can imagine how appreciative and relieved, he is,to have this done for him. Loving this video. God bless and be with you, your family and all those you comfort with your kindness. Btw, the yard looks amazing.......of course...lol.
You have once again the splendor of this yard! You are a good man Sean, and you've made this homeowners heart smile! Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
That yard is going to come up a treat. All the rain and humidity this summer seems to be throwing at us, will see that lawn (the grass) go mad. True the vines and creepers will still be present, but the place will look amazing come the end of summer. Well done Sir, you got to it in time!
I've ofter wondered, when people do all those wondrous clean-ups, how long it takes for things to grow back! This is only 2 months later, and WOW, such a lot has regrown --- these are the only guys who've ever shown us that!
Fantastic, Sean. I’ll bet the old boy was over the moon. Your renovation on the Toro sure paid dividends!!! Regards to you all and catch you on your next presentation, Sean. Really appreciate the work you put in and sharing with us 🌟🌟🌟
Great work mate. I am part of the Mitigation crews for the Rural Fire Service and we provide a Free Service called AIDER which is Assisting Infirmed Disabled and Elderly Residents clean their properties in bushfire prone areas. It is really good work but after i started watching your videos ( 6 to 8 months ago) you have shown me and helped me show others that taking the time and doing that extra little bit can make a big difference to someone's life. Thanks for the inspiration and keep doin what you do mate. Jarrod
To all the doubters and na-sayers who say you scalped the lawns, it won’t grow back. Neener neener you told em it would come back and it did, greener than ever. Looks great Sean.
Wow, it’s coming back nicely. I’m in the Lower Hunter and we have had a lot of rain, being closer to the coast you would have had more. I see his mate didn’t clean up like he said he would. It’s been 6 weeks and nothing moved from where you put it. A council collection is free. One phone call (or email) and move it to the curb.
So wonderful to see the plants blooming in the front yard! And the grass growing back. You can tell at one time the old man was an avid gardener. Was that him in the video? I bet he's so happy to see flowers and yard again. Great job, Sean!
The yard is slowly coming back. That house probably was very pretty back in the day. You can see somebody took pains in doing the landscaping. I sort of wish that backyard fence would just fall over and be hauled out. I think if you sneezed on it, it would probably fall over. Yet another beautiful job Sean !! Thank you for your kindness.
I find it so funny that, in Australia, nasturtium and Lantana are considered nuisance plants. In America, we plant them lol. I have 3 types of nasturtium and I think 8 Lantana.
It just looks better and better every time you go. The flowers out the front look awesome, they were getting all smothered before. And the old bloke has been sitting outside the back door, which he could never do before. The first clean-up was epic and I'm sure you never want to see it like that again. Still a big job with all that edging and so many noxious weeds, but you are a true champion!
Sean, so glad you went back after your initial marathon clean up. You have been a huge blessing to this man, and his neighborhood. Its too bad that they dont pitch in and help him just a bit (many hands make light work). But so greatful you are maintaining his yard as often as you can, would be aweful for all your hard work to become a jungle again.
Hey Sean, you’ve a very kind heart that will take you far in your life. Love the fact that you use your grass box. Gives a much nicer finish. Looking forward to seeing more. Stay safe and well, from London UK.👏❤️🇬🇧
One of my favourite places that you do. I love these old Australian homes with the tin roof tops & big backyards. In my neighbourhood old houses are being demolished left right & centre for the ugly subdivision Mussolini concrete bunkers . It's depressing. You go into some of the newer developed suburbs & honestly, its looks like you've just entered lego land. Watching your channel is uplifting, its also sooo scenic. Love it!
I love the fact that you keep uncovering new “beds” like the cement around the circular stone planter. This man’s yard must have been quite a garden at one time. Maybe not one everyone would have chosen, but he must have loved plants and flowers. Just couldn’t keep it up. He can now go out and enjoy what is being done for him..Thanks Bladmate❤️
Top job Sean that's a large property I didn't notice it last time, Looking back over all the properties you've done is really something and all done on second had and thrown away equipment and not to mention that your as fit as a Malle bull it just goes to show that you don't need wize bang new equipment. Good to see mate regards John
You made my day as always ❤️,you never complained, just went right back to work 👍🏻. Thank you for caring, stay safe and take care, you have my prayers for a healthy long life, enjoy.
I loved watching the re-transformation! Proving your point that the grass would grow is satisfaction alone, but take it further and put your magic touch on it and beautification takes hold. You Sean, are such a gracious, hardworking man, a man's man! Thank you for your part in this world, and God Bless from Wisconsin, USA.
“All this was lantanas”. I went and bought 4 potted lantanas haha 🤦🏻♀️. Did not know they grow so big, and i live in an apartment. Thank you Sean for the revisit ❤️. A few more maintenance visits and this place will look stunning.
It always amazes me how nature can regenerate. The owner was obviously proud of his yard, but unfortunately we all get older & unable to keep up the maintenance. Thank you for taking care of him & sharing with us. I’m still trying to get the Sthil mini chain saw but no one has it in stock until next year. I imagine they are in a container in some port waiting to be offloaded. Keep up the good work & the great videos 👍🇨🇦
Hi Sean, this is from a year ago, & now February 4, 2023) this is Great to see you return to help this Gentleman out again & Transform his Beautiful yard back & truly see All the Beautiful Flowers!! 🥀 Thank you for doing this for the 2nd time!! You Truly are a Kind man to do this for the Elderly!! I like when you return to the same house & put it back in such Good Work!! Have a Good Work Week & a Wonderful Weekend with Your Family!! Love from Central Illinois USA 😍🤠😎❤
So I've dealt with some really cruel people over the past few days. There are all kinds of people in the world, I know, but wow. I hope to meet someone like Sean. I know there are Seans out there, right? Love you, Sean. Your friend in Oklahoma, Diane.
Your generous support of those less able makes me proud of you being an Aussie. I never thought I'd enjoy watching yard upkeep videos, but by watching, I've learnt how to tackle my own overgrown yard bit by bit
I love seeing the updates on the extreme yards you've done! thanks so much for taking the time to record it again! keep up the amazing work you do Sean :)
YAY! Thrilled to get to see this place again! Also happy to see the old man appears to be doing well! I hope we get to see it again as the grass fills in, etc.!
Always makes my heart swell (with the music) knowing people like you are out in the world taking care of people. Proud of you Shaun. Bless you 10 fold sir.
Wow! The yard looks so much better now and such a quick job in comparison to the marathon you did originally. It's great to see. I wonder if the local Lions Club or Rotary Club would help with the fence? The whole street should pitch in and help given that you have probably raised the value in their houses just by mowing this gentleman's yard. Job well done!
I love how the elderly man now has a chair on his back porch so he can enjoy his yard again. I love sitting outside after taking care of my yard and seeing the beauty! Also wish I was in Australia so I could tackle those flowerbeds and paint the house. Lol
This is a stunning yard! Someone took time for the landscaping and such a variety of beautiful plants, shubs and flowers... Happy you went back to make maintain it....👍
So happy to see the yard again after 6 wks. I knew with your weather and coming into your summer these yards would be looking great in no time. This one proves that and doesn't all at the same time. Better in some places than I thought and still sparse in others. LOL. This update shows exactly how much work this yard takes just to maintain it and how fast it can get out of hand. Keeping in mind this is from a near dead state vs a regularly maintained healthy state. This yard never ceases to amaze. WOW. 👍👍👍👍👍

Same here! I had no idea that they were considered weeds!
Sean: you are always helping out less fortunate others. You are one special Aussie!!
Sean is one special human.
I love it! You can see what you're doing is giving that gent life again. Enjoying his little peace of heaven again.
Bless You @Shawn
💕🤜🤛💕
Old Mate must have been glad to see his Blade Mate come and visit. It was lovely to see his garden again and see its regrowth. Great video and a job well done once again Sean. Thanks.
That yard is looking beautiful! Much faster the second time around, Sean! You'll have to revisit this place several times so we can all see how it fills in. Great work, man!
thanks Chad
Ha I’d like to hit that button every time I rewatch one of Sean’s videos. !
Towards the 25 minute mark (guessing here) Sean moves a hose off a walkway, and there is a large damp area there. Someone moved the hose since Sean was there last, so I’m hoping the gentleman came out to water some plants, or hose something off, and admire his yard. 😉
The result is awesome, and that you take care of it again. So great of you! Yeah! Kindness is the new cool! 👍🏼👌🏼☮️💚
The property is quite charming with all the nooks and crannies of the yard. You did such a nice job.
This is so sweet. You can tell that this yard was well loved and taken care of for a long time until he couldn’t any longer. I’m sure he’s so happy to see it looking beautiful again.
Very satisfying to see the grass coming back through and things greening up and coming back to life. You sir are a deadset legend!
Yes, agree! The yard would have been such a treasure, and brought pleasure!
Do you guys know of any "Got Junk Companies" that might help in a situation like this?
Sean was that friend. 👍
I was thinking about him yesterday! Wondering when he was going to post another video for our viewing pleasure!! I'm a happy camper!! 💕💕
I believe that chair is one that was found in the initial video(s). Hopefully the owner now uses it to sit and view his much nicer yard.
I was thinking the same when I saw the white chair. 😊
Just six short weeks shows just how aggressive the vegetation is in this area. Thank you for the aftercare. Cue William Tell. Job well done.
So glad you were back to help out this gentleman. He needs you! God bless!
I’m thinking this man is very pleased he can look out on his yard with pride of place. Thank you Mr. B.Mate for doing all this work on his behalf. It’s a very important job and for the second time he has the best looking yard in the neighborhood!! ❤️
It looks even better than the first time! Keep spreading kindness. You are a good man, Sean!
Glad you enjoyed it!
At least it was just the nasturtiums trying to make a come back, not the lantana. Nice work, Sean. Hope he gets you in a bit more on the regular
Nah. This time it was the insidious Morning Glory vines taking over. Ughh
Another great job Sean. Keep doing what your doing and don’t listen to the nay sayers. Do what makes you happy!!
Love seeing the end with green grass. Thank you for showing this. I hope the homeowner enjoys looking at this. Bless you, Sean
Jarrod
Great stuff, Jarrod!
Once again kudos Sean, loved that you went back and his place doesnt seem to have as many "treasures" in his yard.
To all the doubters and na-sayers who say you scalped the lawns, it won’t grow back. Neener neener you told em it would come back and it did, greener than ever.
Looks great Sean.
There’s something about the edges being done that’s very relaxing to watch
And great job it looks amazing
I adore how healthy and thriving the yard is now!! Beautiful job!!!
Great job, Sean!
it was :)
I remember that super jungle, you "Tarzan" took over the jungle and tamed it. Well done, Mate 😁😁😁
To give is the basis of a sound society. If we are all giving instead of demanding surrender and divvying then we will all get taken care of.
Thanks Sean for re-visiting this yard, it actually looks even better than I thought it would, kudos to you for bringing it back to it's former glory 🙂
You're just a great human being Sean.
I'm sure the home owner is feeling like someone cares for him again. Kudos to you.
Hi Sean, this is from a year ago, & now February 4, 2023) this is Great to see you return to help this Gentleman out again & Transform
his Beautiful yard back & truly see All the Beautiful Flowers!!
Wow, it's coming back to life nicely. I'm surprised it was that green already. Nice job Sean aka Mr. Magic Fingers! Lol
I can see myself in that yard…little delineated sections of garden…a place to pidill around in. 😊
So I've dealt with some really cruel people over the past few days. There are all kinds of people in the world, I know, but wow. I hope to meet someone like Sean. I know there are Seans out there, right? Love you, Sean. Your friend in Oklahoma, Diane.
I’m sorry, maybe some people are just fed up with Covid, not an excuse though but I’m thinking of it being a cause possibly
I can't get over how healthy and green the front yard and driveway are looking! Absolutely beautiful.
Once again You’ve shown what a lovely generous person you are, and you do such a great job because you love what you do it’s very obvious ❤️
I'm so glad you brought us all back to this place! So good to see everything blooming again and even sorta grass growing.
Thanks Sean. It is like seeing a old friend again. Thanks for taking us back. You definitely have green fingers the grow back looks so good. 👌🇿🇦
Hi Shaun it just shows how quickly the gardens get overgrown again! Well done another awesome clean up :)
Happy you went back to make maintain it....👍
Giving a gift of dignity to the fellow after a long lifetime. Does my heart good too. Thank you Sir!
WOW. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks once again for looking after the old man. You’re a good human. 👍🏻❤️👍🏻
