- Following another week of downpours on the east coast of Australia, there appeared some kind of warm, shiny orb in the sky. Making the most of the presence of this strange phenomenon, I was able to get stuck into some backlog (again), and tackle this job for a new client!

Your generosity is mind blowing Sean! You're a wonderful person for helping people out like this. And thank you for another great video! God bless!
WOW, Shawn, that Conch grass (I think that's how you spell it - I don't believe we have that type of turf in the States) is some incredibly thick and difficult grass to mow. You certainly tackled it and the results are spectacular. I love your Tilley hat. Great sun protection. Lastly, I like your comments, which help the viewer understand what you do. Your videos are very enjoyable. I enjoy every one of your videos. :-)
Thanks Jack
The grass you're refering to is "couch" which understandably is a weird one to spell like that. This grass if I'm not mistaken is "kikuyu" but the two are often used interchangeably as they are similar. Here in New Zealand we originally imported kikuyu specificly to stop errosion of our sand dunes on the beaches. It did that job well by sending it's long runners all across the sand, and then went on to conquer the rest of the country as well. It makes a great hard waring lawn and we use it for sports fields a lot as it's self repairing.
@@allanmowz we did the same thing here in the lower united states but we imported kudzu from asia and it took over everything..it's worse than poison ivy ..it grows in places that nothing really should..it was used as erosion control as well
From one veteran to another, Salute!! I'm sure the family appreciates all you do, I know I do. Thank you for your time and for your service.
Thank as well for your service.
Gotta admit i never would have expected to see you uncover a drain grate like the one in the back corner of the yard. Also those must be some serious loops to jump thru. Like another commentor said it's the same the world over when it comes to veterans. There was no way he would have let it turn into a literal jungle if he was even remotely able to cut it.
I am a veteran myself and your generosity towards veterans, DV victims, disabled and generally anyone in need, is heartwarming to say the least. Great work, great video, greater man still...
"Thank You so much for Your service"
I am a permanent disabled retired veteran. In the USA VA dose not pay veteran’s to do any yard maintenance. We have to hire someone to take care of our yard work for us. I pay over $100 just to blow my yard. I live in AZ and we have rock landscaping.
@@walliegoolsby5389 That is a shame. The government should do more for their returned military, especially those that are injured.
Next time you need to replace the blade on the Toro, have a go at a Gator Blade. Its a mulching blade, but I've found it has excellent uplift and does a great job at not leaving the long bits pushed over.
Love doing lawns like this, the end result is so satisfying for me, I’d love to be at a point where I could do it for free, that’s awesome, and your work is awesome Sean 💯✂️💯
I’m certain that as a veteran yourself, you have your own struggles. I’m thankful that in giving of your time and labor, you seem to find so much peace and joy in it.
This old world could certainly use more good men like you in it.
Thank you for sharing this part of your life because I find a great deal of peace in it myself.
Oh my heart be still green LUSH grass. Yes agreed, Veterans need TLC and all support we, as citizens can give is the key. Burocacy in the V. A. is a daunting issue in every country it seems.
I'm very happy you are able to help this family, with their lawn care needs. It's a lovely home. I still think alot of 🐐 and 🐑, would do wonders on this lush green grass.... your fan in Virginia!
The promise of future work and a can of coke is the only payment a legend needs. Love your work brother.
I also love it when the 1812 starts to fade in at the end. Stay well.
Another good job mowing such tall grass and making everything look so good. Thanks for all you do for vets and others who need help. You are truly a blessing to others.
Great job as usual. Love watching your videos. Your attention to details makes all the difference. God bless.
How wonderful you went out of your way to move those items and get a better shot to mow in those areas. I know you don't HAVE to but because you CAN and WANT to just makes it show how much you care and go above and beyond. Great job as always!
Fantastic! You and your Patreons have succeeded once again in making this world a better place. Thank you for sharing these experiences with us.
Absolute PERFECTION !!! God bless you.
Well done Sean. It looks so much nicer now. Thanks for helping out your community. Thanks for sharing.
No body measures up to your meticulous lawn care. You always do such a great job.
You are such a kindhearted person! Job well done! (AGAIN)
Besides, It’s wonderful to give back to Veterans ❤️❤️❤️
Your a good guy Sean.... That lawn should bounce back nicely with ongoing upkeep
That is some seriously thick grass! Great work 👍👍👍
Since you specialize in helping the community care for lawns, have you ever run into snakes or other critters lurking under the tall grass? I know that's one reason why you wear leg protectors. Smart idea! Again, one stunning job that the homeowner can be proud of. Thank you for your generous spirit!
Bless your heart, Thank you for your kind service. Great job
What can we say - Another Fantastic Job - Client must be very Happy ! Great Video and Cheers from us in QLD !!!!
That grass looks a lot tougher than the grass here in the states. Really good work on this one, Sean. 👍😎⭐️
Good job man. She's certainly wet out there. I've been sinking ankle deep in some lawns they are just so wet and boggy.
Let's hope this rain pisses off soon. Its starting to do my head in. 😆
Like you ,we thank him for his services for our country 🙏 thank you Sean.
amazing work as always,,keep up the great job you do,,well done .
what an amazing difference! You did an awesome job on that one!
Another great job
Good work Sean 👏👏👏🇦🇺
You are one hard working man.I wish I had the energy you have.Your work is amazing I enjoy your videos so much.I am a new subscriber. PLEASE continue to make these videos. You are now my favorite lawn care channel.💯👍👍
I feel your pain my lawn was also a jungle this spring with all the rain… mowed it several times at different settings on mower…😀
Lucky no surprises under the trailer 😊
That looks so beautiful.
Another lawn well done. It's always sad when someone gets a life changing injury/disability. It's very hard to deal with mentally and emotionally as well as the physical. Thank you for making life a bit easier on him. I hope the veteran gets the benefits he deserves sorted out quickly.
Great job as always. You are a good man
You're a good man.
Hi Sean! Excellent job! You are such a blessing to this family, especially since he is also ex-military like you. Our military deserve our upmost respect! So thank you Sir, for taking care of them!
Great job. You're good. Love your videos
Great job Sean.
Sarlacc...too funny!!!---I commend your negotiation skills. They'll now get to see you on a regular basis, and you were able to unbend enough to accept their offer of a soda pop.
Beautiful! Job well done!
Well done Sir. 👍
Great 👍 Job . Omg 😱 really Great job 👏
Bloody bewdy mate. Another legendary job 🤙😉
As usual, another great job.👍
So AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up!
New subbie! Enjoyed this video. It's great that you look out for those in need. You've done an awesome job on this property. I'll be binge watching to catch up! 😉
Good job
Masterful. love it.
awesome job!
Great stuff!
Just needed the canons blasting at the end of the 18th overture
No shin/snake pads 0.o Great job by the way 👍
Hey Sean, is it always just you for the jobs we don't see too? Some of the yards you tackle, you're a terminator if I ever saw one!
The one's off camera are usually my regular mowing run, and I have my mate William with me. My wife has just joined the team too :)
Need to try a barrel mower to swath down that long stuff
Ok, I would have knocked that drain cap off at least 10x with the trimmer.
Haha
Lift the front of the mower up a bit then set it down
Is it just me or does your lawnmower sound like it’s moaning lol. That’s some very thick wet grass yeh mate!
Yikes!!! Some lawns look like they might eat you!!! Say goodbye to the wife before you begin! LOL. Great job yet again!
My legs itch just watching
That lawn looked so hard to cut. Great job. Now about this can coke thing....don't you know that hard working folks drink Pepsi? I know some will say I'm bias because I live in North Carolina...home of Pepsi, but that really don't have anything to do with it. Honest.
How many times do you think you emptied that grass catcher?
lost count
Jobs like this you need a few goats 🤣. Thats a fair crop of hay.
What is that grate used for?
They promise they will look after you before signing up but as soon as you are disabled it's _piss off you're no use for us_ . I hope he gets is claim sorted out but I am not hopeful. Just look at what the HMAS Voyager crew were put through and I can feel their pain. I have a WorkCover claim that is entering its *27th far king year* and still no end in sight.
Sean, you are probably the only lawn care guy who will move a trailer, a hose, a table, a trampoline, or a bunch of rubbish in order to do a good job for a veteran or elderly homeowner in need. Thank you!
👍👍
Agreed. I could do with a Sean near me.
@@tardismole Yeah but Ozzie's are crazy. If you goad them too much they will tear out your backbone🤣
@@AnthropoidOne I am aware. I have rellies northwest of Sidney. :D
@@tardismole 😆 I’m in USA. Figured you lived somewhere else too.
I watch several lawn care guys and you are still the Master!! Your attention to detail ranks you above all others. Thanks again for your videos.
You're the best
I agree that Sean is the best. Another that is above and beyond is Noel at Grass Cutter Pinoy TV

Jumping through hoops with VA, yep got that right. It’s the same all over. Hopefully they can get it sorted and the Gent can have one less thing to worry about. As a mom of a veteran I really appreciate what you do for your fellows and your service prior to Blade Mate. You have a great superpower. God bless. Mary in Canada.🇨🇦
Sean, you did it again. Not only are you "the best" lawn care provider on RUclips but you are also the best person. You go above and beyond on ever job for every client and your compassion and empathy for those who are doing it tough is truly amazing. You're a good man Sean in every sense of the word.
And this, right here, is why I love you the best. Most other lawn care guys would have whipper snipped around that trailer. Awesome, quality job Sean!
💯
Sean, I'm with you, it's hard to take money from folks that are struggling, especially those who served their respective countries. I hope you get 10 new customers just on this video alone mate. Good job.
Thanks again my friend
You two are prime examples of true gentlemen! I truly enjoy watching you (& many others - I subscribe to a few others doing free work for those who are in need) as I know you’re making a difference for many! Many blessings to you and yours!
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Thom's Simple Life, you and Sean are amazing. Helping veterans or people, you do the same job. Compassion is much needed in the world today. Bless You Both. Stay Safe my friends from Tassie ❤🙏❤🙏🤗
I join Thom with this wish!
You, sir, are a BLESSING!! May God bless you more than what you're giving, because good and hard work are hard to come by. ❤️🙏🏼
Sean you are a good man. Don’t let anybody ever tell you any different. Nice work!!
Sean, I want to truly thank you for being yourself. Every time I see one of your videos I am reminded of my father who passed 3 years ago. Up until he passed at 80, he helped everyone he could. Weekly he regularly mowed all of his neighbors yards on his John deer mower. His favorite quote was "I may be old and wobbly, but I can still sit on my butt and fight grass!" Even at his advanced years he found his own way to still feel useful and went to war on his little tractor every week fighting grass to put a smile and look of relief on the faces of his neighbors. You remind me of him with every video, and for that I will forever be grateful...Thank you Sean, from the bottom of my heart.
Sean you are an amazing human being. I hope the veteran gets his much deserved help promised to him. The ruts will self heal over time as you said. The lawn turned out great as always.
You are the best Sean. The best at true lawn care and a kind, compassionate and generous man. May God continue to bless you in all you do
Hello Big Guy from Yuma Arizona, USA. I love your videos, your work ethic and how you make that whipper snapper an extension of your arm. You always make yards look better. I love it when you find hidden things under all that grass. Stay safe and God bless you and your family.
Thanks Mary 👍
Good job Sean. I loved the multi purpose hat being used as spider bite protection 😁. Keep up the good work. All the best, Brian.
haha, Aussies get it
Hey Blade, can't stay for the premier but can send blessings to ya & extra to the woman who has to put up with ya! 😂
May the universe bless you for all that you contribute! My husband also has a service connected disability but at the moment he is still able to take care of our tiny townhouse yard. I still do the weed eating and pulling and planting but he is able to push the mower and for that I’m so grateful. I know we are the lucky ones. I hope the universe works it’s way to getting these people the help they need!
Yea I think u-tube is broken. Not notifying I think the bell has crack in it. It clacks no ding.
Sean it really touches my heart (being part of the elderly and disabled groups) that you groom everybody’s lawns as if they were your own! That’s a very are commodity these days. May you be doubly blessed for your gift of time and skills to so many in your community!
G’day Sean that was a tough job, you mowed it right it’s hard going over that thatch it proves that mower is very good there’s a lot of mowers that would just stall on that. Your right about the front lawn a zero turn would tear it, my father in law had the same problem and you couldn’t turn fast because it didn’t have a slip diff. That mower is terrific anyway stay safe mate,…..regards John
Beautiful job and great service to a family who needs it! Now they can use their yard again!
Outdone yourself again, you are a true patriot.with all the erratic weather y’all have,I can only imagine what it takes to maintain all types of properties.this family I’m sure are blessed that you were the one to come to their aid.great job, looks good 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Absolutely amazing transformation. You really are the kindest and the best. I hope the family can enjoy some much deserved R & R in their garden now 💞
Sean you brought tears to my eyes. I know you are a veteran and I love how you support and help your fellow veterans. While I love all the help you give, having a husband the is Retied Air Force, the help you give veterans touches my heart.
Glad to see you back at it! The weather is unpredictable these days. Really wonderful seeing the yard back in shape. I'm sure this family will enjoy some outdoor fun. Truly a blessing what you do for others.
Beautiful work done! So detailed. Not too many landowner companies move tables and heavy things in the yard. You are so awsome. Thanks for sharing.
It’s because lawn care guys are too lazy I go over and beyond and pick up any crap sticks weeds anything customer service and satisfaction is key to a good lawn care business
Awesome Sean!! I bet they are just so happy to have their yard back, I hope the family get the aid they need soon. You have such a big heart! I love it! ;)
Beautiful work!! You're always at the top of your game!
Thank you so much 😀
It's nice to have a bit of sun to help dry things out. I used to have a yard that would go swamp on me in the rainy season and it would be a nightmare when I finally got to it. Had to do several passes just to make any progress. And I imagine you know this feeling: you think you're done and you're putting the mower away and when you look back you see all these grass blades cautiously standing up and looking to see if you're gone yet.
Grass peeking up: is he gone? Is the spinniy death thing gone? Can we stand up again??
This gave me a giggle!
God love you Shaun, your attitude to life melts my heart. We are proud to be a small part of your team.
Thanks for all you do. From wet Brisbane.
I hope this gentleman gets the support he is entitled to, as soon as possible. Thank you, Sean, for helping him out in the meantime. All the best from Macclesfield, south of the city of Manchester, UK.
Very well done. What a workout for sure. Now they have become a regular customer and I believe it wasn't because you did it for free but because of your hard work. Awesome 👌
Brilliant job as usual !!!! Always a delight to watch, Sean. 👍🌿🌸😊
There is something so powerful when you show kindness to others. It makes my heart smile. I wish we could all understand that one small act of kindness can literally change a person's life. You are such a good man. Many blessings your way
Your hair is adorable like that 🤗 I think everyone is Australia has a trampoline lol. Nice job Sean
