  • 1995 Toyota Celica Clutch Replacement. This is a very time involved job, a lot of parts have to be removed. But it will come out with out droping the rack & pinion back subframe. It took me almost 2 days to do. I had left the trans on the jack in the same position that it came out and it almost slid right back in.
This video was made as a demonstration how to repair things and should not be done with out the proper training and safety equipment. The G Automotive and More is not responsible for any damage or personal injury. Please if you don't have the ability to do these demonstrations, don't try and get a professional to do it for you.

clutch is starting to go out on my 93 celica, might have to do this. Don't have the cash for a shop to do it, but I am fairly mechanically inclined. How far do you think I would have to lift the car to do this? I have a garage I can do it in but only a regular car jack/jack stands.

You are going to need to get the car pretty high to get the transmission out of your way. I would say minimum of 2 feet. Thanks for watching

I have a query. You didn't show us how the engine stays in place if you remove the 3 of 4 mounts. Do you use any engine support bar on top of the fenders, or do you just leave the engine hanging from the left mount?

At 3:28 you can see that I had a white upper support on top of the fenders. Thanks for watching

I don't have the car here but is it not part of the brake master cylinder reservoir. A line that runs off it to the clutch master cylinder.

I know this video is old but if anyone is still watching the comments would approach to Only swap out the r rear motor mount (with the really long bolts) just involve removing of the exhaust and bolt on steering rack as shown?

I have a 2000 Toyota Celica GT and I'm swapping my clutch out. The toyota Manual states that the Match Marks on the flywheel should be lined up with the match marks on the clutch pressure plate. The problem is My stock flywheel doesn't seem to have any match marks, nor does the clutch pressure plate. I expected to see some recessed grooves or something. So, does this not matter? Not a single Celica clutch video on RUclips talks about match marks on the clutch and flywheel. The only place it seems to matter is within the Toyota Celica service manual.

I know this video is old
I live in a third world country that has like 4 celicas
    So people don't know it
I want to replace my clutch
    I have a st202 with the 3sge engine
What other Toyota cars that shares the same clutch and flywheel
Maybe it'll narrows my search for it
I heard people using a Camrys clutch and flywheel from the 2.2l model is it true?
Thank you very much in advance
I hope you understood what I was trying to say because my English is not that great as you can tell 😅
