I wish EA would add a tank that we can put all the fish in and it rotates between all of them i love collecting things in the game but I don't like having aquariums everywhere in my house
This is such a good idea!! Or I would love if they made it so you could have actual aquariums with a bigger tank that held like 15 fish and let them be different sizes based on the species!
So I'm not sure if it would work yet but potentially couldn't you move object and overlap them? Or potentially make a pool on the second floor and fence it off and put a sized down fishtank in the pool so that the fish look like they are swimming in a bigger tank Both you would need to stock the tank before moving them, but once again it's just a thought I haven't tried it myself
I have 20 fish to catch and only one is missing playing Sims 4 in Xbox Series X. I don't know wich is and can't find a new fish no matter what bait i use.
My favorite fish are the gummy guppy, rainbow fish, angler, bat fish, bone fish, and clownfish. Of these, my favorite is the gummy guppy. It's so cute and clever how the developers actually decided to put a Swedish fish gummy in the game
Oooh I didn't realise there were that many in the Forgotten Hollow. Thanks for the fun tip, i'll have to get my sim to head back there and check it out :)
I must have had the worst luck in the forgotten grotto ever. I have gone through so many dozens of frogs and medium fish as bait and just have the last 2 left (wolf eel and anglerfish)…
As of watching this, the only fish I don't have access to on PS4 are the two from City Living, but that's about to get fixed in a few hours when I get that Pack as part of the PS4 Sims content sale running through the 16th. On PC, I have City Living, but I don't have Island Living or Werewolves yet, so I'm missing a few more there. One day... For now, budget are going to budget, and a half-price Expansion Pack takes priority.
On the first one if you use more than one sim I suggest 3 because one of mine caught a Discus! O_O Not mentioned here! She was fishing on the one on the far right. And tons of awesome catches were made from the far left as well! O_O! Including gold fish that are like... super special not normal ones... it's pretty cool! Try to do more than just the middle!
I caught a sturgeon,catfish, rainbow, me bones and angler fish all from the cats and dogs expansion area. I believe I’ve seen the wolf eel too but none caught yet.
Hey Petey, is there a way to get certain fish with cheat codes/debug? I’d love to have some of the “spooky” fish like bone fish and bat fish for a very intricate witch gameplay I’m building for myself, but I don’t want to spend hours trying to build up angling. I just want them as decor 🥲
One of my like level one or two Sims manage to catch a swordfish in shallow water with no bait. It has only happened once though so it’s probably a glitch but IDK
Hi Stokie! I haven't and if I'm honest I'm not sure if I should cover that pack or not... I actually don't own it. The main reason i'm hesitant to cover it is because my content naturally highlights packs and their features, and I don't really want to highlight Batuu as I feel the sims team really ignored what a lot of people wanted with that release.

I'm a little bit confused! I thought the timestamp you indicated was referring to me saying you could only catch the treefish in the sylvan glade in the base game?
@@carolyng8725 Ahh I think maybe I didn't word it clearly enough, but I meant it's only the only place to catch the treefish, while it's also a reliable place to catch the other three... defs agree you can catch tilapia, rainbowfish and the gummy guppy elsewhere.

You could make an actual aquarium/fish sanctuary lot, you don't even need mods to do it, and it's actually fun to visit
You can always stock them in a pond too

You are a LIFESAVER for this!!! I have been trying for so long my sim is now an adult and I still wasn't sure what to do to get some of these.
In the base game you catch 22 out of 24 fish types in forgotten groto you can pick up the remaining 2 in sylvan glade

It's a bit late, but I recently (within the last few days) caught a tree fish in Willow Creek, with a lower level Fishing skill. 🤔
Does anyone know if the anglerfish is bugged? I feel like it shouldn’t take a week of straight fishing in game to catch one.

The 'bb.showhiddenobjects' cheat should be able to help you find them in debug in buy mode :)
