I enjoyed the interview. Met her when she came to Metropolitan Apostolic Church to meet with Dr. Leon Finney in Chicago. We said hello as I was walking by. I backed up after it registered who she was and I said, Thelma!! And she said yes and we hugged. I told her that I had just watched Good Times that past weekend. She was beautiful, sweet, and down to earth.

Typecasting is a real thing… I remember when I saw the movie Malcolm X… Raj from the show What's Happening popped up, and half of the theater yelled, Where is Rerun….🤣… it took a moment to get back into the movie..seemed everyone became typecast as I don't remember any other roles for the entire cast..

Still though it would have been nice to see her at least a few movies during the 80s, sometime after the show ended. But I get it, when a person needs a break, they need a break.
