I love how goofy and unique these all are. Personally, I like the Thwomp and Bowlo candy designs the best. Also, that animation of the characters transforming is bringing back memories.
Bitsize candy is my favorite, they created amazing 8-bit costumes for the characters and for Mario, Luigi, Dry Bones and Hammer Bro they reused their sprites (with modern colors) from the original Super Mario Bros
This game basically sold more than all the Gamecube Mario Parties combined, so I don't know what you mean by it needs to be more popular. And motion controls were perfect for Mario Party.
@@imafreakinninja12 it could have sold more because the Wii sold more consoles, meaning more people could play it. I heard people say this game's motion was wonky and didn't work sometimes. It works if you do it right.

Honestly sad how this was the last game to be creative with items not in terms of effects though it helps but more like how it’s executed as dice blocks gain color/effect changes and utility items are neat that no two are the exact same like bowlo/vampire.
Personally i like using boo luigi birdo and wario in mario party 8 i honestly like how the former looks like when using bite size candy 🍬 bowlo candy blow away candy 🍬 springo candy 🍬 weeglee candy 🍬 vampire 🧛♀️ candy 🍬 stone candy 🍬 bullet bill candy 🍬 and bowser candy 🍬

These are effectively Wario-style transformations with a Sunshine-esque transition.

What would be also cool is if Nintendo switch did Nintendo Wii online with Mario Party 8 & 9 as the games too.
