    The pattern on the top is so cool! If I even had part of the talent needed to make this, I would have never thought of that technique to make it beautiful. I love your work ❤️

      You can do this! You can start with just the head of a fly and learn with each try! Glad you enjoyed it!!

    Great job. I love this pattern. I love how you control that deer hair and later on the shaving. I made that pattern many times and is not an easy one.

    I don’t know much about fly tying but love ASMR. I would love to see more ‘ASMR’ elements like when you scratched the metal bit in the beginning and tapped on the plastic sheet near the end!
    Keep up the great work 😊

    Wow!! This was so incredible. I know nothing about fly making but that looks like this one is difficult to do and your artistry is absolutely stunning. (If artistry is an appropriate word that can be used in fly making 😉) the pattern that emerged after shaving was so cool to see.

    • @shetiesflies
      @shetiesflies  10 месяцев назад

    Do you go through standard route bobbins? I feel like reefing on deer hair would snap the insert. May want to get a half hitch.

    these flies are huge, i can't imagine catching something that could fit that in its mouth
    i caught a catfish on a worm once and had a bruise on my sternum from bracing the fishing pole against my chest, i went for smaller fish after that
    also, i wonder how long it takes to make a fly? these videos are pretty cut down im sure
