  • Can subcultures ever exist in the way they did in the past? Why are logos better on some clothes than others? Why do French men dress like happy Englishmen?
Menswear writer, designer and critic Tony Sylvester is Simon's latest guest for an interview about the things that influence style, and how they've changed over the past 40 years.
The products on display are from Tony’s brand, AWMS. For more of his writing, search for his name on PermanentStyle.com. Mortimer House is the members club Simon has used as his office and refuge for the past five years.
Simon is wearing a bespoke jacket from Whitcomb & Shaftesbury in PS Plaid cashmere, available from Joshua Ellis, with black cords, black cordovan loafers, and a denim shirt. Tony is wearing an AWMS smock and beret, with Bryceland's trousers.

From UK Hardcore band Fabric to being the singer of Turbonegro to mens fashion. What a renaissance man!

It's already there actually - have a look at the Video section of the website (in the menu). Plus all videos are included in full articles, as with this one today. RUclips is really just an additional platform, as with Instagram. The website always has more and better.

I was wondering that as well! It appears from a distance to be Cartier Tank Must but I’m not a hundred percent sure.
