You are SO BRILLIANT!!! Can I ask where you purchased all your label rubber stamps? Yours really resemble the ones used in labs and specimen collection. I can’t seem to find any that aren’t completely blank. (As a current Field Biologist/Zoologist & lab tech who worked in a medical lab lifetimes ago... I’m kicking myself for throwing away BOXES of all kinds of specimen labels EVERYTIME we switched companies!! You know, l can not think of one good label stampset, I look out for suitable stamps among other stamps in the setsv of 'Vintage Labels', as Vintage Script, Postage Marks... The trick is to stamp them on vintage paper (old book page edges for example), splatter some black paint leaving small dots - to age them. I will make a not and try to make a video on labels, thank you for the idea!!

It’s from the Tim Holtz Field Notes Collection/Specimen Stamp Set! It has several stamps : Specimen IDs, ID numbers, field notes, etc. Different shapes and sizes. They’d be perfect to label slide and specimen ephemera! (Your beautiful creations) There are 2 differed sets. One is entomology. It comes w a couple butterflies, cicadas beetles. The other is Botany. It comes w mushrooms, I believe. They’re both primarily labels. The entomology set has a couple more labels though. You can find them on ebay or Amazon. I think eBay had international sellers. I think Tim Holtz has his own website as well. He had an entire FIELD NOTES COLLECTION, w ephemera, stamps die cuts, dies etc. I feel foolish. You probably already know all this. Forgive me for the novel, if so. I just wanted to inform you since you and I seem to share the same obsession w vintage specimen labels. 😂
