I do make my own labels. Some of my favorite are just stamping the labels on vintage music paper, german text, equations, graph paper, ledger papers, tea stained papers with script stamping. so very fun.
Yes, you definitely need a Versafine Onyx Black for bold and solid black for wording especially. I have been wanting to make some labels and I love how yours turned out!
Great video. I have masterboards but never thought about making labels from them. Thanks for sharing. Now, I have to make labels. Have a wonderful day. Christina
Hi Jordan! I’ve really been enjoying a bit of binge-watching of your videos! They’re all great, but this is my favorite (until I watch another one!) Your technique is so creative & easily made! I watch a lot of Julie at Camelia Crafts & she mentioned you when she made her version of these, I ordered the label stamps at that time. I’m not very creative & just stamped mine on white paper - very boring! I can hardly wait to make a masterboard your way & try again! Thanks for a great tutorial! Erica❤
This video was so helpful! I appreciated the details you gave like how long the background took to dry, and getting to see how the master page all came together in real time. I absolutely love how your project turned out!
Great job never seen them done this way and definitely going to try this technique. Is there anyway you can post the name of the 3 stamp sets you used. I know 2 were from Tim Holtz but I would need the names and also the name of the clear set please
What a great idea! I’ve only got 2 inks right now. Walnut from TH, and Versa Fine for a good ink that won’t smudge. Yours look so cute and I can’t wait to make some. ❤
Honestly you really only need a few inks. I have a bunch, but keep going back to the same few. I do like to have a good red, blue, and green for projects like this, but otherwise I love my browns!
I wanted to start making labels and I was ready. Not so after seeing your video! What a help it was showing the different levels that goes into making the master board. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me!
Great way of making your own…. What is the name of the “label stamp” set? I am not sure I have see them. I would love yo get a set. Thank you for sharing. You have done an awesome job.
Lovely job! Why not fotocoping the master bord before stamping the numbers and after? That way you can have endless labels, and as you keep creating new ones you'll have a great colección of labels! Have a beautiful weekend...
I like this project very much. Could you give us the details of the stamps you used. Down here it is always a mission to chase things down. Greetings from New Zealand
The label stamps are from the company darkroom door. I also used Field Notes by Stampers Anonymous Tim Holts. I also used both, Dates from the Past and Timeless Roses by Creative Expressions. I was able to get all these off of Amazon but obviously what’s available on Amazon in the US isn’t always available elsewhere. Might just have to search around on the internet.
Thank you for this tutorial! I have really shied away from making my own because I thought it was too complicated! I appreciate how you simplified the process and am definitely inspired!!! I am making this my next project!!!
I got all of mine on the US Amazon site. Some are Creative Expression, some are Tim Holtz & the labels are Darkroom Door (out of Australia) but I found it on Amazon as well! Hope this helps! Erica❤
The label stamps are made by the company darkroom door. The thing is is that when you first get them they are all on one sheet. I had to cut them apart myself lol found them on Amazon
Such a great idea to make your own tags. These turned out great!
Those came out so cool! Love those ephemera pieces. looks fun to make :) Great job.

Your labels turned out great! Now to try to scan them to print them out later!
I really love your lable technique and can't wait to make some! Thank you for the inspiration! I subscribed. Thank you so much for sharing!
Wonderful video! The labels look great❤❤❤
I tried this! 😊 It was fun to make, and I also had trouble with my vintage papers. They definitely don't ink well.
