For the clear part page protectors work really well and are cheap at the dollar store. This is a great idea for ephemera that is pretty on both sides that I don’t want to glue down. I’m late to the party but thanks! ❤
I think it would be fun to make these with fabric swatches from a wedding or home decor project, maybe paint chips from a renovation. Those bits of things we like to keep!
Great ideas! Here in the UK I have bought small self-adhesive laminating pockets (for making ID badges) no machine needed, and perfect for specimen cards like these!
Thanks for such a informative video. I have really enjoyed this as always. I often watch on my tv but cant comment but im on my 📞.ty hunnie nicely done Yeassssss!!!!

Thank you for sharing this video. I love how you show how easy it is to make specimen cards and many different ways you can make them with whatever we have on hand.😍😮👍👌
Hi Shana: Love how you crafted all of them! You got me running to my craft room. So creative. Thank you for all your ideas. Always enjoy watching your videos. 💜😎🇺🇸
I made actual specimen cards. Went imto my garden, picked a few tiny flowers, dried them then put between acetate stuck to cards with 2 faced tape and glue.
Question: with the first specimen window u made (the flimsy bubbly one). Would passing an iron over it help "melt it" shut and give it strength/substance? Protect ur iron, of course. I ask bc we get so much in everyday packaging.
Dear Shanouki Tks a bunch. This is the first time I heard of Specimen cards. Also I learnt to use bk pages to create a border around the piece of acetate. I hv a question. Do specimen cards only use acetate as the base
thank you, thank you, thank you for so many great ideas! ❤️ Why did I always make things so complicated for myself with the frames? 🤷♀️ Best wishes Tammi 🖐😘
Now I am kicking myself! Why does it always happen that when I 'declutter', I suddenly find a use for something I tossed? I had saved clear packaging that would have been great for windows. All of it was heavy plastic and I had saved it for shrink-art projects (that I never got around to ;) ). Now I need to buy something for the clear plastic! LOL!

I like the full napkin image works well, but I like how you showed it cut back too.

Wow very creative 👏🏼 thank you for sharing! Other than decoupage what other glue works best with acetate or with laminate?
Craft glue, anything that dries clear ☺️❤️

You can also stamp with pigment ink on the inner side of a laminating sheet and then laminate it. Looks lovely in white ink for a Christmas theme.

Nope, you can use anything that is transparent or semi-transparent: plastic, cellophane, vellum ❤
Wonderful ideas…New subscriber.
